Hey guys! This little book I decided I will create for poetic purposes. For a while i. Have been through certain situations and witnessed different occurrences in life. With all that I've experienced up till now,Ii have decided that I will write some poetry that expresses some of the things that I feel/felt as well as some of the philosophical lessons that I have learned. To Defy Gravity is a book set in the point of view of Sage Carter, who is a teen with a troubled mind due to a riding accident when she was fourteen. When she keeps having nightmares and waking up in cold sweats at four in the morning her mother and guidance counsellor suggest that she takes on the fear head first. After long discussions, arguments and mental breakdowns Sage finally agrees to go to a stable called Canterbury Crest where she meets a stallion that ignights the spark that had been sitting in her heart ever since she stopped sitting in the saddle; so with ambition and fear Sage takes on the challenge and rises to try and gain respect and happiness. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- my equestrian friend is probably going to absoulutely kill me for creating a riding book, but my brain is bursting at the seams with ideas.
