Aislynn Shaw can see into other worlds. She can sense things before they're about to happen. She can hear people breathing and moving from blocks away. She can step outside of time, into the White World as she calls it. No one believes her. Everyone she's ever met calls her crazy, insane. She is openly avoided if not altogether ignored. Aislynn learned to hide the White World away, to pretend to be normal. Until one day, someone stumbles into her dreamscape, seeing things no one else ever could. His name is Grayson, and he has questions, questions Aislynn isn't sure she can answer. Slowly, she comes to trust him, and after he begs her to take him back, she lets him into her White World. Slowly, he teaches her what it means to truly live and to not be afraid of who she is and what she can do. Then one day, Grayson disappears, and Aislynn, the insane girl, is a suspect. On the run, Aislynn searches for Grayson, and finds something else instead. Her White World is no longer safe. Something dark lurks within it, a shadow, a Blackworlder. And Aislynn has set it free.
