Description: It's been five years since the Gambit went down. Five years since she found out that her fiancé had cheated on her with her best friend, since she discovered she was carrying his children. It's been hell for him since the Gambit sunk, hell, torture, loss of home, loss of his past partying self, sadness, and loss, but when he returns after five years he'll see everything besides himself has changed.

The two meet up again at Catco and soon, Kara and Ashlee come to find that they can be more than just Assistants to Cat Graham. Sadly, Ashlee also falls for Winn Schott. When she decides to join the world as Haven, without telling Clark and Kara, she has to figure out how to live life as a superhero and as the assistant of Cat Graham. She also has to figure out how to live with Winn loving her best friend. Will she crumble under the weight of the world or will an unexpected ally make her see that there's more to life than an IT Guy who is head over heels for the blonde Supergirl, or will she crash a burn because of it all? *P.S. In this story Kara is human, and is admitted to hospital after a terrible house fire, where her parents unfortunately died in so now she is alone. Kara is only 2 years old. Her nurse Dr Danvers forms a special bond with her and is deciding whether or not to put her into the foster/adoption system or adopt her and take her home to her husband and her 12 year old daughter Alex. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So I got this idea from another story, so the credit goes to that person who I cannot find at the moment, so if you see this then messege me and I'll credit you.
