Their objective is to put an end to the schemes of a vile crime lord by infiltrating a masquerade ball organized by him. Little do they know, this crime lord isn't all that he seems, and the mission takes a dangerous twist when the difference between friend and foe is indistinguishable. This is the first part in my rewrite of the Star Wars prequels. I'm gonna be making both small and big changes to parts of the story and try to make it fit in better with the continuity of the original films.

Along time ago in a galaxy far far away, a young Padawan girl was kidnapped by a slave owner where she still remains until 10 years later, a Jedi of her own, Obi-Wan Kenobi finds her bruised and scratched on the outskirts of Tatooine where she had fled to escape the punishments from the slave owner. As she comes back to her home long ago, Coruscant, everyone glad to have the young Padawan return home after all these years. When she finally recovers and gets back into the Jedi routine, with her talents she is high in her class and her power with the force is strong, she is given a mission along with Anakin Skywalker to protect the senator of Naboo, an old friend of Kaeli's, the not so young Padawan. Her feeling for a certain Jedi start to surface as do his, can she fight them or will she fall defeated against them? As the rule goes, Jedi must not love.

When the newly crowned prince of Naboo is captured by separatist forces during the clone wars, Obi-Wan and his master are tasked with saving and protecting the young ruler. The Jedi forbid romantic relationships; however there is something about the prince that makes Obi-Wan question the ancient rule. From Naboo to Corusaunt the two grow quite close. So close that the prince insists that Obi-Wan help with a newly discovered plot that is sure to send the republic into chaos. Will the two solve this mystery and stop who's behind it, and will Obi-Wan admit how he truly feels about the prince? In this Star Wars AU, Obi-Wan is just a young padawan when the clone wars begin.
