A research center of captive Gibbons in a current study on the cognitive effects of marijuana long term use hold a discussion. On this particular day they watch as the laboratory's sign is changed to reflect a new mission. The youngest Gabriella becomes upset what this means for them. All born in captivity, they are entertained with TV. A program hosts an offensive guest attributing the whole purpose of the Creator's intention for humanity to do at will. The eldest Gibbon Maximillian forces a discussion to put Gabriella at ease. In the process they discuss humankind's happiness given this special place, why are they destroying everything out of greed. They come to a conclusion from the title.

A story about angels and vampires. Oof how predictable!

Bubbles is a beta fish. He is a beautiful blue-purple. But when he is fed turns pure purple for an hour. Then goes back to blue. He also has blue around his pumple in his eye. This is a true story about my fish from his point of view. When a fish is bought it's from a pet store 90% of the time, bubbles was part of that 90% but his life takes a turn for the worse as the years go on.

Another step into trying to spread awareness about captive marine mammals. I do want to put a Trigger warning as there is slight animal abuse, self harm, death, refrenced bullying, severe health conditions, mentions of injuries and implied saddening topics. This is a fiction story though it has lots of real life concepts and info. This story is about a baby orca who gets taken from his family in the waters of Iceland. He then is put into a tank, eventually performing to please the crowd. but one day something clicks in his brain, an impulsive thought which then he acts upon. This was originally a short story assignment for my English Ⅱ class. My teacher said my story was saddening but gets you thinking about how these animals feel, so she said it could be published to spread awareness and this is my first step into spreading awareness on this topic. Thank you for coming to read my story and I hope it changes your perspective on marine mammals in captivity.

Anything could be a prison , it doesn't have to be the usual bars and chains but to me, anything that holds one captive is a prison. Do not love the things of the world for everything is vanity for it is all vain. Just like this poem says; "Do not allow captivity ruin you, Do not cower at its might Do not allow captivity trap you in your personalized prison...."
