BioPunk focuses on biotechnology -- technology that alters the genetics of an organism. Broadly, this can even refer to selective breeding, but for the purposes of BioPunk fiction, it tends to refer to things like bioengineering, or biomods, which are programmed to enhance or alter the abilities of an individual.

In a society where the government modifies people and places them into hero, civilian, or villain categories; a young man of 20 hailed from a long line of heroes just to be made a villain. Karma Graves quickly learns how poorly treated the villains are while also learning that the role they were forced into isn't really who they are.
