"Park! You are free"
The police station warden announced and opened the gate. A woman stood up and saluted to the 4 other ladies inside the jail saying her goodbye. She went out of the jail with a big smile on her face and no one would suspect that she was inside because she did something uh inappropriate.
She went to the reception area to get her things. Her leather jacket, wallet, phone, watch, ray ban and her keys. She signed some papers and said goodbye to the police.
"Park, please I don't want to see you here again" officer Lee told the younger girl.
"I can't promise you that officer. And I'm sure you are going to miss me. Not every day you get to have a pretty girl inside that jail of yours" Park Chaeyoung said that made the other police officers laugh.
"Right boys?" She added.
They just laughed and shoo the girl away. Chaeyoung went out of the station whistling a happy tune. She went to where her motorbike was parked and animatedly hugged the vehicle. She was away from her baby for almost an hour and a half.
"How many times do I have to bail you out this month?" A voice said.
Chaeyoung whipped her head to the owner of the voice and smiled.
"You don't have too" she said.
"I have to. You are my responsibility Rosie" the girl said.
Chaeyoung just shrugged.
"Thank you then" she said.
The older woman just sighed.
"And by the way. You look good. Do you have a date?" Chaeyoung asked wiggling her eyebrows.
"I HAD a date" the woman answered.
"Had? Aww why? Not good in bed?" She teased.
"Shut up Park and get inside the car now" Jennie ordered.
"Thanks, but no thanks. I'm riding my baby. Maybe next time" she said and hop on her bike.
"Park... I'm serious, get inside the fucking car right now" the girl looks serious and angry and scary.
So, Chaeyoung went down on her bike with a pout and walked slowly towards the car.
"Can you make it fast?! You already ruined my date don't ruin my night!" the woman shouted.
"Gosh! I'm not deaf don't shout. Please cool down, relax" Chaeyoung said and went inside the car.
She waited for Jennie to also get in the car and she smiled. She has this hobby of making the girl mad and it does something to her heart whenever she does. It's like her way of saying that she misses the girl, so every time she gets a chance, she would tease the girl to death.
"Wear your seatbelt please" Jennie said.
"Oh, I forgot. Motorbikes doesn't have any seatbelt. How silly of me" Chaeyoung said and wore the safety belt.
"That's why I told you to dispose that scooter. It's not safe" Jennie said.
"Scooter?! Are you serious?! It a Ducati Monster 1200 S 2020, Jennie Kim. And you are calling it a scooter?" Chaeyoung said frustratingly informed the cat-eyed girl who looks unfazed by her outburst.
"I know nothing about what you are saying" Jennie just shut the hell out of Chaeyoung with that one statement.
"You are so mean!" Chaeyoung huffed and crossed her arms in front of her chest.
Silence enveloped the two of them. For the past months they barely see each other and this kind of scenario between them is like a normal routine. If Jennie wouldn't pick up Chaeyoung in the racing club she would pick up the girl in a bar or worst the police station. There are times that she would get involve in some petty street race fight that the police had to intervene.
Well, it's not that Chaeyoung is a kind of rebellious teen-ager, in fact she's not a teen-ager anymore. She's a grown-up woman who have a great future ahead of her if only she accepted her father's offer of her managing their companies.
But our girl right here isn't ready for that, she's saying that she's a free soul. That's why instead of living her life with the luxuries that she should have, she settled her self in a life that she wanted for the mean time. She works in the racing club as a racer and a motorcycle mechanic. She competes professionally here and there and sometimes out of the country.
She likes motorcycles more than cars and nothing can take her away from her baby except Jennie.
"Where are you taking me?" she asked when she knows that they are both calm already.
"Somewhere" Jennie answered.
"Jennie..." Chaeyoung moaned and slowly covered her body.
"What?!" Jennie shouted.
"I'm not having sex with you" Chaeyoung said dramatically.
"What the-!" the car swerved a little to the right and both of them screamed.
Luckily, Jennie immediately got back her control on the car and slowly pulled over at the side of the road.
"What the fuck are you thinking Park Chaeyoung!" Jennie shouted.
"What? You are the one who's driving! Why are you blaming me? This is why I don't like cars. I can't breathe!" Chaeyoung said and opened the car and went out.
Jennie followed and went near Chaeyoung who sat on the pavement while breathing. She also sat beside the tan girl and breathe.
"I would never have sex with you, duh?" Jennie said.
"Don't take it seriously. I was just... just suggesting..." Chaeyoung said and whispered the last words but still...
"Huh?" Jennie asked confused.
"Well... I, I ruined your date and probably your sexy time so I was thinking that... that you want to pass time somewhere else and with someone else and that someone is me... and, and-"
"ROSEANNE!"
"I thought that you are going to..." Chaeyoung said disappointingly.
"I would never" Jennie said.
"For real?" Chaeyoung asked.
"Yes"
"This body? You don't want it?" Chaeyoung asked again.
"Not in a million times" Jennie said.
"You don't really have taste, others would kill just to have a taste of me" Chaeyoung scoffed.
"I wouldn't taste you for mandu's sake Rosie" Jennie said.
Chaeyoung made a face. And both of them laughed. It was normal for them to joke like that with each other. They know that it wasn't really serious... right?
Another silence...
"I want you to meet Nayeon" Jennie spoke.
"Who's that? A new pet?" Chaeyoung asked and a hand landed on her head... hard.
"Awwwie!" Chaeyoung shouted and glared at Jennie while mending her head.
"That's my girlfriend who you just called a pet, missy" Jennie said.
And yet another silence...
Let's hold hands together and let's all pray for Park Chaeyoung's shattered heart. Can I get an Amen?
"So, this Naengmyeon-"
"Nayeon"
"Oh... Nayeon. Is she your new girlfriend? For how long?" Chaeyoung asked.
"6 months" Jennie answered.
"Hmmm. How about that girl? the model?" Chaeyoung asked again.
"We were long gone and Kendall and I was never been serious" Jennie answered calmly.
"How about that Doctor? What's her name again?"
"Andy..."
"Hmmm"
"Rosie, why are you asking about my exes I'm talking about my current one and probably my last one" Jennie said.
"Last one? Why? have you finally decided that you are straight and want something long and hard instead?" Chaeyoung dumbly asked.
"Long and what?!" Jennie shouted.
"Relationship! Long and hard relationship. What are you thinking you pervert?" Chaeyoung said laughing which again earned a hand on her head.
"Yah! That's abuse already! I'm going to sue you for domestic violence" Chaeyoung said pouting.
"If only you are taking this seriously, Rosie" Jennie reprimanded her.
"But I'm serious. What crack did you take and you thought of making your official girlfriend and your secret sexy and beautiful fiancée to meet?" Chaeyoung asked.
Jennie rolled her eyes because of Chaeyoung. This girl is really full of herself. Just because she knows that she's sexy and beautiful, well it's true so she wouldn't argue.
"I'm going to propose"
Chaeyoung looked at Jennie
"To me?" Chaeyoung asked.
"To her, you dumbass" Jennie said pissed.
"Yah no need to call me dumbass, Stupid!" Chaeyoung glared at her.
And yeah... they always have that moment of silence. Chaeyoung looked up at the sky, she put her hand on the pavement to support her body so she could gaze at the stars up there. It was comfortable and relaxing, she has this feeling inside her heart but she wasn't sure if it is something painful or just a feeling.
Jennie on the other hand, took a deep breath and copied Chaeyoung. For the past 20+ years, the both of them are always together. From preschool, to middle school, high school and even college. She and Chaeyoung were inseparable, not just because their parents said so but because there is something that keeps the both of them together.
"Rosie..."
"Nini"
Jennie looked at Chaeyoung. It's been a while since she heard that nickname of hers coming out from Rosie's mouth.
"Are you okay with it?" the brunette asked.
Chaeyoung sighed.
"Are you?" the blonde asked back.
Jennie cannot answer because she herself has something in her mind at the moment. Some worries and personal issues.
"If you are thinking about my parents and your parents, I'm telling you. It's going to be okay. They love me so much. They would understand if I talk to them. They might disown you and my dad's going to go after your head but it's going to be alright. Ouch!" Chaeyoung ended her speech with an ouch because Jennie just flickered her forehead.
Chaeyoung laughed.
"But seriously, Jen. I'm okay. If you are happy and loved and you are sure about it, what can I do? And please we aren't kids anymore. You knew that what's with us is just a childish arrangement. It's just because my parents would rather give my hand in marriage to a girl instead of a boy and our parents happened to be best buddies forever and that's what happened. Don't burden yourself with a very big responsibility named Park Chaeyoung. I'm too sexy and gorgeous to be a burden." Chaeyoung had another long speech.
"Thank you..." Jennie said knowing that Chaeyoung doesn't have any problem with it.
"No need to tell me thank you. Thank me after you marry the love of your life okay?" Chaeyoung said.
