Tanjirou run around the fotress while following the water pillar, Giyuu from behind. They have been running for awhile and fought few demons.
'We are not running into any upper moons! Are we still far from Muzan? Are the others still okay?' Tanjirou thought by himself as he continue to look around the fotress.
Suddenly, he picked up something as few scents entered his nostrils. The scents are very familiar. While he continue to linger in his own thought, he did not pay attention to his surroundings.
Tanjirou then accidentally hitted himself on Giyuu's back. He didn't saw Giyuu stopped from his track. Tanjirou immediately picked himself up and apologised.
"Ah, I'm sorry! I wasn't paying attention" Tanjirou apologised to Giyuu. However, it seems like Giyuu didn't say anything. Tanjirou look at Giyuu from the back and saw his eyes are glued on something in front of him.
"Oyakata-sama..." Tanjirou heard Giyuu said. Tanjirou's eyes went wide after he heard what Giyuu just said. He walk away from standing behind Giyuu as he stood beside the water pillar and he instantly saw few people in front of him.
He recognised all of them! Tanjirou had a huge smile on his face as he saw these people in front of him. "Tamayo! (Y/N)! Everyone, all of you are fine!" Tanjirou said in relieve.
"(Y/N)?" Giyuu repeated after he heard Tanjirou said that name. He remembered the person who is named (Y/N), the man who the Kocho sisters despised.
His eyes landed on one person who is carrying Oyakata-sama. There's no mistake, it's him! To prove that it's really him, he saw the person's eyes is red with 3 tomoe. From what he remember, the eyes are known as the sharingan.
This man is definitely (Y/N) Uchiha, and he's still alive. He's not dead like everyone else thought. Giyuu immediately hold his blade, "Release Oyakata-sama right now!" Giyuu ordered as he prepared to attack.
"Wait, Giyuu-san! (Y/N) is not a bad person!" Tanjirou told Giyuu, trying to stop him. "Stay back Tanjirou! You don't know him. He's a criminal and his crime is unforgivable" Giyuu responded.
Giyuu is about to dash towards (Y/N) before he was stopped by someone who stood in front of (Y/N) protectively. "That's enough Giyuu! Stand down. He's not a threat." Amane said.
Giyuu immediately stopped in his track after Amane ordered him to do so. "But why Amane-sama? He's a dangerous man! With all due respect, you know about his crime right?" Giyuu asked.
"Yes, I do. I know that you are trying to protect us, Giyuu. But he is not that kind of person like everyone else thought about him. Please just trust me, Oyakata-sama himself also trusted (Y/N)." Amane told Giyuu.
Giyuu was silent after hearing what Amane just said. After a moment, he put his sword away. "As you wish!" Giyuu said to Amane.
"Giyuu-san..." Tanjirou said as he smiled at Giyuu. However, Tamayo immediately snapped them from their moments.
"We cannot waste time anymore, Muzan is probably somewhere, busy neutralising the poison I putted inside him. We need to find him as soon as possible" Tamayo told them.
"We actually did, but so far, we don't know his exact location. I couldn't even detect his scent inside this place." Tanjirou said. Giyuu also confirmed what Tanjirou just said.
"I suggest for (Y/N) to be the one who look for Muzan" all of them heard Amane. "He could probably see something that we couldn't with his sharingan" Amane told her reason.
"I don't think it's a good idea. I can't leave all of you by yourself in this kind of place. Demons could be lurking anywhere" (Y/N) told them.
"Then, let us protect them while you go to find Muzan." Giyuu suggested. "Giyuu is right (Y/N)! Both of us will protect Oyakata-sama and the others. You can count on us, (Y/N)" Tanjirou told (Y/N).
Tamayo then looked at (Y/N), "It's okay (Y/N). We'll be fine. You need to go and stop Muzan. Everyone is fighting and putting their lives on the line for this battle. We cannot let all their sacrifice be for nothing."
(Y/N) was silent after hearing what Tamayo just said. Everything she said is true. They need to win this battle. They cannot afford to lose this battle. This night might be their biggest chance to change humanity's fate after hundreds of years being hunted by demons.
Giyuu walked to (Y/N), "Put Oyakata-sama on my back. I'll carry him" Giyuu told (Y/N). (Y/N) looked at at the water pillar before he just nodded.
After a moment, Kagaya is now resting on Giyuu's back. (Y/N) take a few steps back from them as he looked at all of them. "Be careful everyone" (Y/N) said as wished them goodluck.
"Goodluck (Y/N), we believe in you!" Tanjirou said. (Y/N) just smiled as he nodded at Tanjirou. (Y/N) then turned around, facing away from them. He begin running away until he vanished from their sights.
(Y/N) begin to run around the fotress as his eyes begin to scan the fotress. He can heard noises around this place. He can heard the sound of battle being commenced right now.
The sound of slashes from the swings of blades...
The sound of flesh being cutted...
The roars of the demons...
He heard all of them. But they are not his objective right now. His target is the king of the demon himself, Muzan Kibutsuji.
(Y/N) run through the hallways as he continue to look around. He run into a straight direction as he continue to follow the hallway. His eyes is picking some sort of aura in the end of the hallway.
After a few minutes, he finally arrived at the end of the hallway as he stopped himself. He is looking at some sort of flesh that looks like a cocoon.
(Y/N) can detect a powerful aura from inside the huge ball of flesh. Could it be that Muzan is residing inside this thing? (Y/N) begin scanning the area around the cocoon.
It seems like there's a huge strings of flesh attaching itself on the walls around it. He thought that he might try cutting those flesh strings first.
(Y/N) pulled out his blade as he prepared himself. He take a few backward steps as he take some distance. (Y/N) then begin running before he jumped on top of the cocoon.
(Y/N) raised his blade as he about to make a move. Suddenly, he heard something crashing from the side. A figure emerge from the crashing spot and immediately grabbed (Y/N).
(Y/N) eyes went wide as he begin to fall into the dark pit under the cocoon. He can't see the bottom, signalling that it was going to be a long and deep fall.
"I knew it, I knew that you are still alive after sensing your battle spirit." (Y/N) heard the figure said as both of them are still free falling.
(Y/N) eyes are glowing red in the dark due to his sharingan. He saw the figure's glowing eyes as he can 'upper moon 3'. (Y/N) immediately recognised who he is facing right now...
It's the upper moon 3 demon, Akaza...
(Y/N) kicked Akaza away from him and used the momentum to get near the wall. He stabbed the wall with his blade as he begin slowing down.
(Y/N) saw a ledge from his right. He immediately put his feet on the wall and pull out his blade from it. He jumped onto the ledge and managed to grab it.
(Y/N) immediately climbed over the ledge. He realised that he need to climb back up immediately to find Muzan again who's probably still inside the cocoon.
(Y/N) saw a hallway near him and immediately followed the path. However, he heard footsteps coming from his back in fast pace.
"Where do you think you're going? You're fighting with me now!" Akaza said as he continue to chase (Y/N).
(Y/N) begin weighting the options he has which are limited. He decided that he need to battle with Akaza and finish the demon first if he ever wanted to find Muzan again without interruption.
(Y/N) immediately stopped himself in his track as he turn around and faced Akaza. He saw that Akaza also stopped in front of him. Akaza grinned at (Y/N), "I've been waiting for this. There's no one else between us. Only you and me" Akaza said as he took a stance.
"Let's finish this..."(Y/N) said before he dashed towards Akaza...
