Storm's POV
I sat in my room doing my homework. Even homework is better in this new school. As I did my work, I couldn't help but think about a few things. One, I miss Josh. I'm so happy that his season has started and that he's playing basketball. I just miss his bear hugs, and how he looks at me, and he kisses me, and how we be-Ok Storm, you don't gotta go that far. Sorry hehe. But the good thing is, he'll be back in two days. I can wait two days.
Two, how he got a job for Cali. It's not a bad thing, he's being a good friend. But when he said she goes through stuff with her parents, I couldn't help but wonder. I wonder how it's like when she's home. And the fact that she always comes running to Josh whenever something happens. I just hope Josh is careful and very smart when it comes to her. She smells like bad news to me. She will be a big problem sooner or later.
As I wrote down the answers to a question in my book, I hear a knock on my door.
"Who is it!" I yelled. Silence. That's weird.
"Star or Heaven you can come in"'I said and continued my work. I heard a knock again and made a confused face.
"Auntie?" I asked, just to get another knock. I groaned and put my work down. I stood up and walked over to my door. I opened my door and gasped in excitement.
"Oh my gosh!" I yelled and was picked up and twirled in a circle.
"I have finally arrived!" He says twirling me. He puts me down and we give each other a long hug.
"My Meloooo Welooo" I smiled as we rocked side to side. He was so hard to hug cause of his height.
"My Stormy" he says laughing. I pulled away and laughed.
"Why didn't you just walk in?" I ask him.
"You said Star, Heaven, and your auntie can come in. Not Melo" he says laughing. I laughed along with him and took a seat on my bed. With him following me.
"When'd you get here?" I ask him.
"This morning. When I got to the house I took a nap, then a shower, now I'm here" he says and I nodded. He then pulls up a big bag and rests it on the bed.
"What's this?" I ask him.
"Your gifts" he says opening the bag.
"My gifts? Gifts for what?" I ask him.
"For finally moving here. Took you long enough, you know me and Star had a plan" he says.
"What was the plan?" I ask him.
"That's confidential information my friend" he says and I let out a laugh.
"Alright Melo whatever you say. Lemme see what you got" I said to him and he nods. He reaches into the bag and pulls out a shirt, hoodie, and a pair of socks.
"Is this your merch" I ask him and he nods. I remember seeing on his website it was like 40$ for a pair of these socks. I love Melo and all but I'm not paying 40$ for a pair of socks.
"Aww thanks Mel" I said smiling.
"Unt unt unt that's not all" he says showing me these big sneaker slippers.
"Wear these so I don't have to see your ugly feet" he says in a joking matter. I gasp and punch him in his arm.
"My feet are not ugly. They look way better then yours" I said to him.
"Your feet are only cute when your toes are painted white Storm" he says to me.
"Look, they are a baby pink colour" I said pointing towards my toes. He sighs and shakes his head.
"I stand corrected" he says. I punch him in his arm again and he laughs.
"I'm kidding man, chill"he says and I roll my eyes.
"Anyways, what else?" I ask him.
"This" he says and rolls it out on the floor. It's a black furry carpet and says Storm in white fur.
"Melo, this is so thoughtful" I said smiling. He smiled back then dumped out a whole bunch of snacks.
"What are these for?" I ask.
"For the movie marathon we about to have" he says and I smiled widely. I put all my books away and Melo got comfortable on my bed.

"She really thought" I said rolling my eyes turning my phone off.
"Josh still hasn't put the dog on a leash?" He says causing me to burst into laughter. He looks at me and starts to laugh too while eating some M&M's.
"No he hasn't. But I won't say nothing, it's gonna cause problems" I say to him.
"Do you trust him?" He asks.
"Uh yea" I say and he does a little sly look and shrugs.
"Whatever you say Storm" he says and I gasp.
"What's that supposed to mean?" I ask him and steal his packet of M&M's eating some.
"You hesitated to answer. And I'll have this back thank you" he says and grabs the chocolate back from me.
"I didn't hesitate. I do trust Josh. And he trusts me" I say and he snickers.
"Ok Storm. Let's start this movie" he says and leans back on my headboard. I'll just forget about it.
"Alrightttt. what are we starting with?" I ask him.
"Marvel, then we get into some action, then go towards comedy" he says and I nodded. I tap on a Spider-Man movie and let it play. I grab a bag of chips and open it.
"Don't fall asleep. Cause you like to sleep" he says and I giggled glancing at him.
"I won't"
"Promise?" He says putting his pinky finger up. I wrap my pinky finger around his and nod.
"Promise"
