Your POV
The light from the sun slowly died out as night approached. I knocked on the door again.
Guess they're not home...I'll just walk around I guess.
As I was looking around, I heard light steps trotting behind me, I decided to speed up a bit.
So did the other person.
I'm being followed...could it be the demon?
I quickly rounded a corner only to be met with a dead end.
Guess I'll face them head on
I turned around as I heard the footsteps get louder.
But nothing ever came. Confused, I walked out from the corner and saw a familiar geometric haori.
"Giyu?" I said as I walked to where I saw him. When I said his name, he looked at me and ran towards the woods.
"Wait! What are you doing here!?" I said as I sped up to catch him.
When I left him he was in no state to get up, how...why?
I got out of the village and entered the woods to search for Giyu. I turned my head and saw him standing a few meters away from me.
"Giyu, what are you doing? Are you alright?" I said as I step closer to him.
He just stared at the ground.
"Giyu-"
"Stop talking to me. I don't even know who you are." He said.
I froze.
"What...come on Giyu..it's me..(y/n).."
He looked up at me with cold eyes as my heart dropped.
"I said stop talking to me. I don't know anyone like you." He walked towards me. "I don't know anyone who is pathetic, annoying, and dull as you."
Pathetic...annoying...dull..? Does he really think of me like that...does he really not remember me?
Giyu near me a stuck his hand out to grab my shoulder.
This is not the Giyu I know...this is not Giyu.
I smacked his hand away from me.
"You're not Giyu. He wouldn't act like this." I said stepping back.
'Giyu' laughed.
"So you think. You can't even recognize me?" He smirked.
This has to be the demon.
"No. You're not him." I stood my ground.
The demon looked at me and gave in.
"Well...guess there's no point in hiding it." The demon said as he reverted back to his original form.
He grew a bit in size and his skin turned to a ghostly pale. I quickly grabbed my katana and had it at the ready.
"You make me sick, using those who are dear to others to get to them! That's horrible!" I yelled as I ran at him.
The demon quickly formed back into Giyu.
"(Y/n) please! Don't do this!" He said.
I stopped my attack.
He sounds just like him...he sounds so scared...I-I can't bring myself to hurt him!
He smiled and took the opportunity to grab my by the shoulders and throw me down. I gasped in pain.
It's not him...it's not him...it's not him...it's...not...him...
I shoved the demon off of me as I got back up and jumped up into the trees.
The demon got up and looked around for me.
Don't let it get to you...it's not the real Giyu...Giyu is home...he's sick and at home...there's no way he could be-
"Found you." I whipped my head around and saw the demon right above me.
He jumped down and attacked as I moved quickly. The branch I was on was destroyed as I wove through the trees.
I went back to the ground and let out a long breath of air.
Light Breathing form 5: Light of the Sun
As the demon neared the ground I jumped and light emited from me as I swung my katana towards the demon's neck.
Just as it about took hit, the demon let out a cry that sounded just like Giyu.
It's not him...it's not Giyu...go forward with your attack (y/n)!
I kept my attack going though the cries that sounded like Giyu and finally defeated the demon.
"So...you've decided to kill..me." The demon said.
When I looked over, the demon had taken form of Giyu once again.
I looked away from him.
"No...I decided to kill a monter.." I said hurt.
"Really...cos it seems like you're a monster..to me." The demon used his final words in Giyu's voice. He sounded harsh and sad.
Why is there demon art like that...it's so cruel...
Giyu's POV
I woke up the next morning without a splitting headache. I could breathe normally and I wasn't sweating.
I didn't feel sick as I sat up.
(Y/n) should be back by now...
Just as that thought crossed my mind, (y/n) opened the doors rather aggressively. When her (e/c) eyes met mine, tears began to fall from hers.
"(Y/n)..are you alright?" I asked as she ran towards me and jumped.
I braced for impact thinking she was going to hit me.
But the hit never came. Instead, I felt small arms wrap around me. I looked down to see (h/c) hair against my chest.
"You're...okay..." (y/n) quietly cried into my chest.
I felt my face heat up as she embraced me.
What...do I do!? Do I hug her back!? Do I just sit here awkwardly!?
I just sat there stupidly as my mind fought with my body. I wanted to hug her back but my body wasn't letting me.
"Please don't forget me...please..." she said softly.
...forget you...how could I?
(Y/n)...what happened?
The small girl let go of me and sat on her knees while she wiped her eyes.
"S-sorry...I just...mm.." She struggled to get her words out.
"It's alright, but are you okay?"
She nodded her head. She looked alright physically but not mentally.
"What happened out there...if you don't mind me asking."
She was silent for a moment before she spoke.
"The demon...he was just...just a monster is all..." She paused.
"His demon art...was horrible. He uses the form of others to get to them. He could even mimick voices of them." She explained.
Take the form of others...who did she see?
"Was there anyone in particular he chose to be for you...?" I asked quietly.
(Y/n) tensed up and her face flushed. But she was still hurt...I could tell.
"He...he chose to be...you..."
My eyes widened.
Why would he choose to be me...
"He took your form...and said some terrible things...whenever I went to attack...he'd scream in your voice." Her voice quivered and shook.
My heart ached for her. I hate seeing her hurt. I acted before I could stop myself.
And kissed (y/n).
