???: So, where are we meeting tomorrow and when..?
Oh, it's him, uff. I grin as I throw my feet on top of my bed and lie down.
(changes name to SeokJin)
Me: Awh, u miss me already, handsome?
SeokJin: No, ew.
Me: Aahaha
SeokJin: Anyways, what time and place?
Me: Let's meet after school at the West coast park. Come near the bridge.
SeokJin: Okay.
The online sign changes to 'last seen just now'. A sigh escapes my mouth as I call Lisa. We haven't talked in a while.
"Heyy."
She looked up and suddenly I could see that she was sad. And she looked angry.
"Um, r u ok?"
"No."
She finally replies. I am very shocked right now. Lisa isn't one of those ppl who you'd see gloomy. Or anywhere close.
"What happened Liz?" I am genuinely very concerned. See my best friend unhappy? Never.
She wipes her tears and pushes her heavy locks away, so I could finally see what a mess she was in. Huge dark circles, red eyes and nose and most of all, the lack of rest.
"God, have u even taken rest?"
"Um, can I talk to u later?"
She manages to say from between her sobs. Before I could even respond, she shuts down her laptop as I'm left astounded. What happened to her? I can't tell. Even she can't tell.....me.
I close my phone and throw it beside me. I force my eyes shut, as I begin to feel them stinging. I just wanna go back to her. I can't bear seeing her sad...
I hear a loud bleep.
I pick my phone up again, hoping to see a text from Lisa. Instead I read..
Seokjin: Can we meet today at 5?
I sigh angrily. What now?
Jin pov:
I wait for her at the park. I needed to tell herrrrrr. Omg, I never thought I'd say smg like that lmao.
I check the time on my phone. It's 5:15. I see her now. Standing at the edge of the bridge, dressed in a black long sleeve tee and black jeans.
"Bro omg. U need to hear this."
She gloomily walks towards the bench and sits down, folding her legs.
"What?"
"Okay, so today I got a text from Lia, she says-'Hey Jin, I need help with my English project. Help me?'"
I dance around in glee as Jisoo has a straight face. Showing the least bit of interest, she raises her eyebrow.
"And...?"
"That means, she wants to talk..To know me," I say proudly.
"You got all of that..from that?" Her finger circles around and finally lands on me.
"Yeah..I thought-"
She cuts me in between and sighs loudly.
"Anyways. Ur fucked up right now, pretty brains. Just go rest up and lemme do the same..cuz trust me, the shit I'm in right now, is much worse," I could tell by her voice that she was sad. But she was managing to sound..okay. Why? I look up to see her eyebrows twitch and a simple frown on her face.
"Um ok, sorry"
Her lips curve up a lil but then turn down, as she turns around and walks away.
"It's ok, byee, hope to see you soon, SeokJin."
I sigh in irritation. I thought she would've been kinda happy for me..😕🙁
