You lay asleep on the ground until your shaken awake from someone

You let out a broken cough after you finish that sentence
Dante: You're alright now kid... they attacked us do you maybe it remember now
Y/N: Oh... yeah, vaguely I do
You look around at the surrounding area to see a horror unfold infront of your very eyes
Y/N: Holy shit...
Dante: We won, but at what cost right
The entire Hilltop has gone to ruins now, it's mostly only char left in it's place and much worse the walls and gate has fallen too
Y/N: They took down it all... they could destroy the Ericson's just walking past it, not even purposely they'd have no chance against all of these monsters
Dante goes to attend or help some of the other wounded, you rub your face and black substance is left on your hand
Y/N: The fire I almost died, no we almost died... weres Carl at
Carl: Oh hey
He stands over you
Y/N: Ohh... um hey
Carl: Are you alright
Y/N: As good as I can be doing despite the situation... well how about you, I mean you took a real spill back there
Carl: Oh, yeah well I've been better
You get on your feet and dust yourself off
Carl: But, so umm, look
Y/N: What is it
Carl: Thanks for saving me back there you know from the fire
Y/N: Oh uh that, huh... it's nothing, you'd do the same I asssume
Carl: But I uh...
Y/N: You risked your life to save all those back in that building there... I just thought you might need some saving yourself you know
Carl: Thank you seriously... I'm sorry for before and about attacking you
Y/N: It's fine were past that now, we've got bigger fishes to fry than some stupid ego match
Carl: Yeah I guess you're right
Y/N: You know Grimes, you're not half bad
Carl: You're not that bad either
Y/N: So what do we do now... the Hilltop is gone
Carl: We'll rebuild here I guess we've had to rebuild before
Y/N: I know the feeling it's not easy starting completely over from the ground up
Carl: It's all we can do now... the Alexandra and Kingdom can help us... and maybe your group could to, or we could help you as well
You smile back at him

Carl: Good... for now I don't know what we'll do in the mean time maybe go back to Alexandra and ask for some help there
Y/N: Yeah I'd like to catch up with some people there
Carl: Well it shouldn't take too long now
Y/N: Where's your leader at anyway
Carl: She's scouting up ahead with a few others right now, but she'll be back soon
Y/N: Okay hopefully by then we'll be ready to go
You look at the rest of the people left, you and Carl's spirits may be high but there's are not that's for sure
Man: Oh christ what if they come back they'll kill us all this time we won't stand a chance now!
Y/N: Hey it's alright just take a breath now... we're gonna be fine for now
Man: Fine... FINE! you call this fine! Look at us were all doomed
Y/N: Look pal you just gotta have a little faith... hope isn't lost over one attack

He pushes you backwards and you begin to get irritated at his behavior
Y/N: Hey friend wanna keep your hands to yourself, it's called common courtesy
Man: How dare you!

Carl: Hey let's cool it we've all been through a lot here
Y/N: Yeah and some more than others but we don't just sit around and cry about like this pansey shit right here
Man: What did you call me
He grabs you by the throat and in retaliation you heatbutt him hard in his face busting his nose open and sending him on his ass
Y/N: Christ you make me sick, what the hell is this shit... I thought this was a group you're all acting like someone stole your damn ice cream
Carl: There just scared we can't change that
Y/N: No Carl it's not just that somethings different here... they're not all scared they've given up
You look at most of them with disgust
Carl: Given up they wouldn't... we've won the last fight
Man: No as much as I hate to say it... it's true his words, were done fighting for Rick's war
Y/N: You damn bastard!
You grab him by his shirt and look him dead in the eyes
Y/N: Maybe I should just kill you where you stand right now... we don't want you infecting ranks with your disease... your cowardice
Man: Say what you want I don't care anymore
You raise your fist in the air ready to punch him hard and bring it down with force while the man just flinches but you hit the air instead
Y/N: You know I'm no rocket scientist or anything but I'll tell you this if you give up they've already won over us... if we don't have the will to fight they win and we lose
You let go of his shirt and pace infront of everyone
Y/N: God you know you can't just all lose hope after one attack
Man: What about you have you even been attacked
Y/N: Yeah but I wasn't left down in the dumps sitting with my hands in pants... I'd say you're all better off at least you weren't kidnapped and beaten to an inch of your life well your friends were being tortured by the sound of your own cries... So grow the hell up!
Man: Yeah well that's easier said then down
Y/N: No it's not you're just being too scared
Man: We all are
Y/N: Well not everyone let's it show... what you think since a leader is here to protect you that they're not scared too... they're fucking terrified and most certainty more than you are
Man: I don't have the courage to face them again... I can't we can't
Y/N: You don't even know what courage is... Courage is knowing fear and making that fear of your own, they are fear they abandoned who they really were a long time ago just because they thought it was real courage, realty is it's not it's a stupid facade that their living to make themselves feel better and think they're all tough but again they're not... we are, we are courage we kicked their ass to Tim Buck Two and yet were still kicking so get off your ass and back on your feet because were not done yet soldier!
Someone comes running past completely exhausted trying to catch their breath well still spitting out some unheard words just as Maggie and the others seem to return
Y/N: Calm yourself, what is it
Maggie: What's going on here
Girl: It's... the... Alexandria... it's er
Y/N: What the hells going on at Alexandria
She faces you now finally able to catch her breath and say something that will chill yours bones to the core
Girl: Apparently a huge herd of roamers are swarming it
Y/N: Can they take them out
Man: It's not just a normal herd
Y/N: What the hell do you mean are they carrying guns or machetes
Girl: No... from what I was told it's over thousands

Girl: They won't be able to fend them off from what I heard on the radio they described it as an ocean of the dead
Y/N: Clem... she's there, oh god... oh fucking god no!
You drop to your knees well all the blood leaves your face and you go completely pale

A hand is set on your shoulder but you feel nothing but pain
Carl: Look she'll be fine... I'm sure they'll be able to redirect them in time, right!
Girl: I don't know it doesn't sound good

You get off your knees with a determined look plastered on your face

Y/N: No maybe I was I do have some courage but the rest is just blinded by stupidity
You grab your stuff and throw it on the back of a horse then strap it onto it
Maggie: What are you doing
Y/N: I gotta go
You step ontop of the horse
Maggie: Where are you going
Y/N: Clementine she didn't want me to come fight, my girlfriend slash finance... and I didn't want her to join me, so I'll be damned if she dies for me... I'm saving her
Maggie: We have to stick together it's safest that way, the whisperers could attack again at anytime
Y/N: They can try to kill me out there I don't care... It'll take a bunch before they can bring me down, I'll make sure of it
You slap the back of the horse
Maggie: What about courage! You said they had to have courage back there didn't you!
You pull the horse's lead and it stops straight in his tracks
Y/N: I did say that huh...
Maggie: If we do something we do it all together
Y/N: Okay lady fine... you've bought me now
You jump off the horse and sigh to yourself but open your mouth anyway
Y/N: What's your plan then... I'm all ears
Mean while in another area things are turning very grim for someone else
Mitch: Shit walkers there everywhere outside the houses... were fucking dead
Clementine: Mitch calm down we just have to remain quiet
A bang is heard on a door
Mitch: Shit they know were in here
Marlon: It's was just a fluke, were fine Mitch
Clementine: I told you to pipe down Mitch... you're gonna lure them in here

His words are cut off by glass shattering and a walker crawling inside through the window

A pile slowly forms ontop of the walker whilst they begin to slowly stuff their way through the window
Marlon: Shoot them!
Clementine: Shit!
She feels her pants for somethings for anything but it's gone
Clementine: I must have dropped my pistol somewhere else
Marlon: Block it off with something!
Clem and Marlon spring into action running towards the coach and pushing a the coach towards the window
Clementine: Dammit we won't get there in time!
Marlon: Dammit Mitch do something!
Mitch: Oh fuck look out!
A/N: I'm back in black in my brand new Cadillac... Yes I have returned and am being somewhat consistent what a suprise I know crazy huh, this is medium type of chapter about 2000 words but I just wanted to get something out honestly it makes me feel more at ease, the next chapter should be a longer one for sure and the last major Whiperer War battle for now but who knows they may return in the future don't quote me on that though, were getting more close to start my major arcs I have planned and I think you'll all really love them it's different them most anything I've wrote thus far, I hope you liked Y/N's leadership skills he may dish out some tuff love but he do be speaking straight facts... anyway well I hope you enjoyed your stay but I gotta go, Au revoir my readers I'll see you all in the next one...
