The moment the man saw that this kid was a [Space] type cultivator, he look at him in a new light.
Moments after Cole [Teleport] to create a distance between them, a book appear in front of him.
Cole silently chanted, "[Gate]." The wall blurred in a second and a little girl, Celia, appear.
Celia, like a cute little girl she was, immediately smile sweetly at the unknown chained man. She look so harmless and seem didn't connected anything about cruelty.
The chained man was a very experienced person. He knows that those who looks harmless was usually the one who was more ruthless. So eventhough Celia look a harmless little girl, he didn't buy it. In fact, it makes him rise his guard up more.
Yet, he still look amazed and afraid at the same time. Amazed, as Cole could sneak someone in this kind of tight prison. This also amazed him as it show of how great Cole's mastery about space mysteries. While he's afraid of Cole's potential. Just his mastery about the space with his age and level was enough for him to see of how monstrous this kid's potential are.
"I need all the information you know about the Red Skull Bandit." Cole started. "We could do this in easy or in hard way. You choose."
The chained man smile mockingly. Just like what he have expected, those others who couldn't received any kind of information from him resorted in using a kid in interrogating him. Do they really think that because they changed the interrogator to a kid and he'll spill all the information they wanted? Pssh!
The easy way the kid was saying was probably the scenario where he will spill all his secrets without them doing anything. He knows it but as a man who was loyal to Red Skull Bandit group, he definitely won't choose this easy way. In fact, it was still a question if he'll spill all the information they wanted if they did the hard way they always say which probably the torture way.
Still, it muse him of what kind of approach this kid will do.
"You don't have what it takes to be a bad guy." Celia said to Cole through their [Mind Link].
"Yeah? I think I nailed it. I could see the man shivering in fright." Cole respond.
Celia chuckled, "Shivering in fright? Haha! That man is openly smiling, mockingly to you! If I didn't know any better, this guy is laughing inside!"
Cole rolled his eyes. Just like what Celia said, he could see that the chained man treat his statement as a joke. He just talk back to Celia as he wanted to save himself some face. He might not want to admit it himself but Celia was more good on playing a bad guy role than he was despite her cute, sweet little girl appearance.
"You're just a kid..." The chained man whispered as he chuckle.
"This man's soul had some kind of restriction. If he choose the easy way, that soul restriction will be activated and he'll definitely die the moment he started to talk about those information." Celia stated a little while later.
"Oh?" Cole reacted, surprised. It's no wonder this man didn't talk no matter how hard or how long they interrogate him through torture before. It's just that this man can't or else he would die. "We will do this the hard way then."
Celia rolled her eyes, "The hard way? More like the most easier way," she said and a small, purple worm appear on her palm. The worm mist wriggle on her palm for a moment before it shot out like a bullet to the chained man's forehead.
[Worm Mist Parasite]!
"No!" The man shouted in horror as he instantly felt a foreign entity invaded his soul. Dread instantly fill his whole body as he knew that he was done for.
Just like the little girl said, his soul have some kind of restriction that restrict him from saying anything about the Red Skull Bandit. The moment that foreign entity invaded his soul, he instantly felt those restrictions being activated. There and then, he knew that he will die.
As one of the important person of the Red Skull Bandit, he knew first hand the horror of those restrictions. No one aside from the one who made this restriction have to ability to remove it. Even them have to make an great effort just to remove it.
And just like he expected, moments later, the restriction started to get chaotic.
The mechanism of those restrictions was simple, as long as the things they said was not about the Red Skull Bandit to non-members, the restriction won't be activated. On the other hand, the moment they did or someone invaded their soul, the restriction will be activated.
The name of the restriction was Soul Annihilation Restriction. Just like its name suggested, the restriction will annihilate the soul by creating a big explosion. The explosion was enough to annihalate soul below Void Mastery-Stage of Void Transcendence-Stage. Only Mortal Monarch-Stage cultivator had the capacity to resist. Since he's just a Seventh-Level Nascent Soul-Stage cultivator, he definitely don't have the way and energy to resist.
The chained man just close his eyes and wait for the restriction to erupt and kill him.
Celia frown deeply as she felt the restriction activating. Eventhough she's already expecting it, it still make her really surprised specially of how dangerous and fatal the restriction. She could see of how vile and evil that restriction as it was really designed to kill and eliminate souls. Just what kind of secret the Red Skull Bandit group possess that they have to use this restriction?
Sensing the danger brought by the restriction, the parasitic worm mist squirm inside the chained man's soul. It then released a purple mist it was made of and envelope the soul, protecting it's host.
Several moments later, the Soul Annihilation Restriction reach a critical point and...
Boom!
It was like a bomb was thrown to the chained man's soul. A great tremor reverberated through soul.
The worm mist inside the man's soul squirm more. It let out more mist and strengthen more the defense it creates to protect the man's soul.
Fortunately, just like a bomb, after a few moments, the explosion started to subside. And since the parasitic worm mist inside the man protected his soul, he survived. It just that, just like the saying goes, there is no such thing as absolute defense which still gave the man a damage to his soul. But it was better than being dead.
On the other hand, the parasitic worm mist inside the chained man recieved a great damage. So after it was sure that there is no more danger, it stop squirming and lay dormant inside. The best way for it recover was to consume the soul energy of its host, however, it knew that it's host also received a great soul damage which is why it chose to lay dormant. It will wait for its host to recover his soul damage first before it will start to recover itself.
Celia smirked smugly. Although she was not sure before herself, she have a 80% confidence that her parasitic worm mist could protect its host from Soul Annihilation Restriction. After her parasitic worm mist attaches itself to its host, it will start to consider the host's soul as its home. And eventhough it doesn't have a life and can't think of its own, it still have the instinct to protect its home. Which means, the parasitic worm mist was not just a simple parasite, it was also protecting mechanism of host's soul. Unless she specifically wanted to destroy the parasited host soul, the parasitic worm mist will protect it passively.
"The restriction on his soul was solved. You can now proceed to your easy way,"
Cole rolled his eyes, "Since your already at it, just use [Soul Search] on him. It will save us more time." He answered.
Celia smirked at him, "Well, just wanted to ask if you want to contribute."
"No need. You own the spotlight this time."
Celia smile satisfied as she showered herself in glory. She then walk forward towards the chained man who was currently limped on his chains. His soul damage was quite sever.
Celia make herself float and put her fingers on the man's forehead and chanted, "[Soul Search]." The dormant parasitic worm mist inside the man's soul woke up and squirm. It then release a mist and envelope the whole soul. After that, all of the memories and experience of the man flows through Celia's mind which she the transfer to Cole through their [Soul Link].
The man, like a defeated creature he was, can't defend from any of it. In fact, he felt that even if he's on his peak state, he can't fight this technique out.
The process only lasted for three seconds. After that, the worm mist return to it's dormant state.
Cole watch all the man's memories on his [Soul Sea]. This time, [Soul Sea] reflected all the memories on its waters which make it as if Cole was watching a cinema. Only, its too brutal to be released.
Cole didn't pay a mind the others as he focus on searching all the information related to the Red Skull Bandit group.
Two minutes later, he received everything that he wanted to know. He smirked as he now could officially commence his revenge mission.
"What is your name?" Cole asked to the limped, chained man.
Celia immediately look at him confused. Why do he have to ask if he already have every information the man could have?
"That little girl read all of my memory. You can just ask her." The man answered weakly.
"I know. I just wanted to make sure if you know your current predicament."
The man shakes his head. Of course he knew. Eventhough he was not sure what kind of entity was in his soul, his instinct told him that it was a parasitic medium. And parasites could freely control where they have attached to. It could even kill their host with just a thought if they wanted to. "My name is Fernando." He just answered defeatedly.
Eh...?
Cole instantly got dumbfounded after he heard his name.
Fernan, Fernand... And now, Fernando? Seriously?
Is this still just a coincidence?
Cole just shake his head as he silently release a laugh inside.
He then silently chanted, "[Soul Mimicry Arts, Multi-Bell]." A bell appear out of thin air. Cole will it and the summoned bell started to sway and started to produce a very soothing sound. Cole and Celia didn't have any soul damage which makes the sound only make them feel tranquil but Fernando was a different story.
Fernando received a great deal of soul damage from the explosion of the restriction and the sound could miraculously soothe it and heal. Although it heal very slowly, it was still a great news since soul damage was hard to recover while the recovery pills and materials were ridiculously expensive that even him, who considered himself quite rich would bleed his heart from their price.
Five minutes later, Cole cancelled the skill and the bell disappear.
"I have to get out now." He said as he summon a [Gate]. It was just him when the Peak Masters leave him from this room. It will arise many questions if they saw Celia along with when he got out.
Celia nodded and didn't ask anymore question and just enter the portal.
"I'll return here after three hours." He said and instantly teleported in front of the metal wall, not waiting for Fernando's respond.
Cole touched the wall and it instantly melted like a water.
The three Peak Masters immediately release a sigh of relief after they saw that Cole was safe and sound.
"Wait for him to recover, about a week, and you could ask everything that you wanted to know from him." Cole said.
"Really?" Master Dew asked, not trusting his words. Well, what can he say? They can't even make the man open his mouth much less received a information from for a long time, yet, after this kid visited him, he suddenly wanted to talk?
Cole didn't bother to explain himself as he faced Madam Tina and asked, "Can I request a sampling of those metalic trees I saw outside?" He can't help but asked as he was really tempted from those money-making tree.
"Those trees have a very strict and special requirement to grow and that is they have to be planted to a place with rich metal essence underground and metal energy in the air. Even I gave you some, you definitely won't manage to plant it even in the Wood Peak."
"Oh?"
"You're a beast tamer right? I'll just gift you a special beast."
