Ananya POV
Aadaya: she's lying.
Ananya: What?
Aadaya: Your sister is spitting lies at you.
Ananya: What the hell do you think you're talking about?! She loves me. She'd never lie.
Aadaya: She hates you.
Ananya: she doesn't! And I won't let you manipulate me this time!
Aadaya: (scoffing) why do you think Rohit broke up with you?!
Ananya: (speechless and sad)
Aadaya: Because he chose Riza over you. (Whispering for emphasis) He fell in love with Riza. And so he threw you away.
Ananya: you're lying!
Aadaya: (smiling cunningly) Look sweetheart, why would I lie to you.
Ananya: -
Aadaya: If you still don't believe me, then there's Riza's phone right on the table. Why don't you go check for yourself.
Ananya: no! Why would I want to check her personal stuff.
Aadaya: alright. Don't. After all it's not like she's living her dreams with your 'ex'.
(Aadaya walking away slyly, knowing that she'd planted a silent bomb.)
—I know that this is just another of Aadaya's useless manipulations to draw us apart.
Why the hell would Riza love Rohit! And besides she's dating some Siddharth dude anyway.
Mother, I know you're lying!—
(Ananya changed into pajamas trying to get the disturbing accusations out of her head.
Riza walks towards the door in a black party dress)
Ananya: where're you going?
Riza: To the bar. It's been WAY TOO long since I last partied.
Ananya: (nodding) alright. Have fun.
Riza: (grinning) Oh I will! (Walking out the door)
— It's nice to see Riza so joyful after so very long.
I try to fall asleep but sleep just doesn't seem to find me. My eyes feel sore from all the sobbing of the past days and I get up to wash my eyes, waking past the living room.
That's when I notice Riza had left her phone on the table.
Oh this silly girl!
I head to the table and pick it up to put it in charging and that's when it detects face and the lock screen lights up.
My stomach immediately clutching as I hold the phone, disbelief in my eyes at the wallpaper of the lock screen.
It's Riza on the 125th floor of the Burj Khalifa.
With Rohit.
Both of them smiling at the camera.
"Riza: Were just friends. And I don't really intend to get any furtur.
Ananya: (In pure mockery) does he not have a name?
Riza: (Letting out a smile) Siddharth."
It can't be.
"Aadaya: Your sister is spitting lies at you."
S-she went on a date with Rohit today.
Rohit left me... for her?—
Aadaya: (standing behind her like a creepy teleporting ghost) So the truth has came forth after all.
Ananya: (teardrops rolling out of her already sore eyes as they prick at her skin)
Aadaya: I told you she hated you. Infact, if I'm not wrong, she's at that bar with 'your' Rohit. Oh, I mean your ex, Rohit, right now.
Ananya: but why?! (Dropping to the ground) Why would she do this to me!

Rohit POV
Rohit: I have to tell her yaar.
Ashi: No you don't! You can't. That would be three years of our effort going down the drain!
Rohit: I have to tell Avu the truth.
Ashi: but you can make her fall for you even without her knowing that you're Siddharth.
Rohit: with all the guilt and lies?!
Ashi: um... yeah.
Rohit: I don't wanna live the rest of my life telling her that I'm what I'm not.
(His voice softer, almost as if he's begging her to understand) She needs to know.
Ashi: (sighing) she'll hate you for it.
Rohit: but at least she'll know that I do love her.
Ashi: (staring deep into Sid's eyes, then nodding) fine. But you'll have to get everyone's approval before you do it. Including Faisu and Abhi's.
Rohit: (nodding)

*later that afternoon*
(Gang meeting)
Rohit: so I'm gonna tell her everything.
Adnaan: no way! I won't allow it.
Ashi: but he can't live his whole life being someone he's not! You only got one, can't just waste it.
Hasnain: but Adnaan has a point. We spent months of effort in changing his entire identity, giving him a fresh start. And now... he just wants to go back to his past!?
Rohit: my past is my reality. Rohit isn't who I am. No matter how badly we try, we can't really change that.
Faiz: I say he should let her know. After all, he loves her.
Shadan: I'm on Rohit's side. Besides even Jannat got to know, and that didn't do too much harm.
Ashi: I'm gonna call Faisu and see what they have to say.
(Faisu picking up the call)
Faisu: so... Whassup fan Kaise ho aap sab?
Ashi: bro! This is the start of a video call!
Faisu: so! Everything should be done in style. (Touching his hair)
Rohit: (rolling his eyes) let's cut to the chase. I'm gonna tell Avneet everything.
Faisu: (the hair dropping down) What!
Rohit: yes. Everything. Including our criminal records.
Faisu: (getting serious) you can't. She could care us.
Adnaan: I've been trying to tell him!
Rohit: but least try to understand my situation! I can't live the REST OF MY LIFE LYING! (Everyone a little take aback by his sudden outburst)
Faisu: calm down.
(Abhi also joining Faisu on the screen)
Abhi: I'm with Siddharth on this one. Avneet deserves to know the truth. All of it.
Hasnain: I think it's also gonna be too much for her to handle. We don't know how she'll react to it.
Rohit: if Jaan didn't react, then I don't think Avu will either.
She deserves to know! And I'm telling her whether you like it or not.
So you're either with me or not a part of this.
Ashi: Abhi, Shadan, Faiz and I are with you. What about you guys?
Faisu: (sighing) I'm with you too. Avneet has been too all too much. It's the least we can do to tell her.
Hasnain: I'm in too. (Rohit nodding in approval as everyone turns to Adnaan)
Ashi: you're the last one.
Faisu: Maan ja yaar. Do it for you're future girlfriend you'll never have.
Adnaan: (glaring at Faisu even through the call, then staring intensely into Siddharth) fine! I'm in, but on one condition. I'm not gonna be responsible for any dead Siddharth's in the process.
Rohit: deal.
Ashi: great! So we're all in! Now what's the plan?
Rohit: um... shit, I haven't thought this through.
(The elevator beeps and Riyaz and Raghav walk out)
Riyaz: sorry we're late. Did we miss out on anything?
(Ashi and everyone else glaring at them)
Raghav: um... we could go away if you want.
Rohit: no. We need your advise. How would you tell a girl that your name is something else.
Raghav: just walk up and tell her. I guess.
Ashi: ignore his awful advise. Just do what your heart tells you.
You'll know what's right when the time comes.
Rohit: (nodding) thanks mom.
(Everyone bursts out laughing and Ashi glares at him)
Faisu: and one more thing. Don't tell her about the criminal records just yet.
Rohit: alright.
Rohit: Mission: Tell Avneet everything. Is underway.
(Everyone stretching their hands out as they put them on top of each other and fling them back)

*The Next Morning*
Rohit POV
Jaan: GET UP SLEEPING SLOB!
Rohit: ugh! Why so early!
Jaan: cuz today is the day you're gonna tell Avneet everything!
Rohit: (sitting up on his bed suddenly) who the fuck told you!?
Jaan: Faisu! Duh!
Rohit: (going back to sleep) oh right. Obviously.
Jaan: SO GET UP!
Rohit: no.
Jaan: yes! (Taking out her phone and playing the alarm on repeat)
Rohit: switch the frickin thing off!
Jaan: I won't!
Rohit: fine! I'll get up!
(Getting up from his bed and walking towards the sink like a zombie as he picks up the tooth brush and puts some toothpaste on it.)
Jaan: so... how're you planning to tell her?
Rohit: I don't know ok! Why don't you give me some advice!
Jaan: (dreamily looking into the distance) why don't you confess your love for her. (Choking on his toothpaste) Then she'll be like yes of course I Love you too. Then you can tell her everything and she won't totally kill you.
Rohit: (not knowing what to say)
Jaan: or... you could write it in a script and make her play it.
A character where the actor tells Avneet everything and she doesn't kill him!
Rohit: can't happen cuz I wanna tell only Avu, not the world!
Jaan: oh... right.
Rohit: but... I think I got an idea. (Putting in his red jeans jacket and getting into the elevator as the door closes)
Jaan: good luck!
—it's 6:30 right now, so according to Faisu's schedule, she should be in the gym right now.
I get off it the fourth floor and walk towards the bars where she's usually doing pull-ups with Sana.
I walk into the room to find a very particular brunette doing push-ups as a fluffy little creature runs up to me, and I pick her up gently.—
Avu: (shooting him a smile as she notices him) hey.
Rohit: (patting Sana) hi. How's your morning going?
Avu: pretty good actually. He muffins in the cafeteria are amazing!
Rohit: (nodding) Avneet, I need to tell you something.
Avu: (nodding) wait, gimme a second. I'm just gonna finish this exercise and then you can talk.
Rohit: k. (Joining her in the push-ups next to her)
*few more exercises later*
Rohit: can we talk now?
Avu: (through heavy breaths as she sits down on the floor wiping the sweat from her back) yeah sure.
Rohit: look... I know this is not the best time for this, but...
Avu: wait. Am I getting promoted?!
Rohit: um... no. I mean, not yet.-
Avu: (slightly disappointed) oh.
Rohit: but... -
Avu: then do I get a day off?!
Rohit: no. It's about-
Avu: new project?
Rohit: LET ME SPEAK! (Avu slightly taken aback) (shutting his eyes and taking in a deep breath) look Avneet, I don't know how to say this to you, but I really like you and I know that I should've told you this differently but Jannat said that I should just say it so here I am to tell you. (Letting out a deep breath as he opens his eyes to see her reaction, but she's totally blank. And a little pale)
Avu: (too surprised and in sudden disbelief) what?
Rohit: (this time sounding more genuine) uh... I really like you Avu.
Avu: (her eyes showing nothing but pure sadness and utter disappointment) (shaking her head)
Avu: even if I like you I don't like you.
Rohit: (confused)
Avu: I may like you, but I love someone else.
Rohit: Siddharth.
Avu: (nodding) yeah. And I love him indefinitely)
(Avu getting up to leave)
Rohit: (getting up and standing in front of her) but what if I told you... (his voice softer now) that I am Siddharth.
(Gazing deep down into her eyes as some of the hurt drains from it, a mix of so many emotions that one can't explain)

But... perhaps I should make another twist to this plot twist that's gonna twist his whole twisted situation around.
