Narrator's point of view

Everybody seemed to be surprised and happy to see Harry beat death when he, just in time, saved his friends from a death curse. They all let out a smile upon seeing the boy and dodge the fire spell all so quickly.

Voldemort however was not pleased at all, he chased down the boy with non-verbal spells but is unlucky to not hit him a single time. He stopped and looked behind his 'loyal' followers to see that some were leaving in fear.

It gave Harry and the others time to get inside the castle to protect themselves.

"I'll lure him in the castle. We have to kill the snake." Harry said in spite of the closing enemies in front of then.

"You'll need this." Hermione gave him a basilik's fang and Harry ran inside the castle. Draco had Auralie's arm around his shoulder while they get away, despite the headache she has, she pulled her wand out and started to fight anyone that would come in the large doors.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw her parents leaving. Narcissa had looked back one last time to meet her daugher's eyes, holding an apologetic look while she fights the death-eaters.

"Stupefy!" Auralie casted and knocked one of them out cold, She started to regain strength.

"They're leaving?" Draco muttered while he blocked a few of many spells casted on him. He also saw his parents leave, leaving their children alone instead of helping them.

"Auralie!" Hermione shouted from a far distance and she was calling her to follow her to the great stairs.

"Go, I'll stay." Draco shouted while looking at her with a gentle smile. Auralie nodded and ran to Hermione's way to kill the snake.

Both was running to find where the snake is, once they saw it by the stairs Hermione gave Auralie the Basilik fang she's carrying. "I'll distract it." Hermione said grabbing a rock.

Neville sat up after being thrown to the ground, he was out of his head and looked around him to see chaos emerge, left and right. He saw the sword that he oncr wielded but got thrown over. He stood up and grabbed it, knowing what to do.

Auralie ran to the side waiting for an opportunity to destroy the snake, horcrux. Hermione threw a stone at it making it look back and hissed. She walked backwards into a door and looked up to Auralie who was closely inching to the snake.

But out of luck they had, the snake sensed Auralie and almost bit her making the girl tumble down a few steps and dropped the Basilik's fang on the stairs downwards. She sighed and looked at them cautiously.

"Incendio." Auralie's wand pointed at the snake to distract it whilst Hermione ran to her side and together they went down the stairs.

Hermione held Auralie's hand tightly while they tried to outrun Nagini who was inching closer and closer to them in seconds. The Malfoy looked back and a sudden fear errupted in her stomach, "Run. I'll lure it away." She said, panting to hermione who shook her head.

"Are you mad? It will kill you!" Hermione argued, running down the stairs in a hurry. "You will not get rid of me again, Auralie Malfoy." She said in a final tone.

They encountered a dead end, Auralie looked left and right but they were cornered. She looked back and the Snake was still there, aching to kill one or two of them. When it jumped up, mouth open, Auralie did what she did best.

Auralie grabbed Hermione and went in front of her, it all happened so quickly that the girl who was being protected had no time to react. Both of them just looked at each other, out of breath from running. Hermione's eyes grew wide when she saw Auralie suddenly in front of her acting as a shield, she didn't had the chance to argue to Auralie about protecting her, again.

Once both girls were staying still, they didn't notice Neville run towards them with the sword in hand. He shouted as he swing the silver blade, killing and destroying the snake, horcrux.

Auralie panted as she looked back to see nothing but ash and dirt. She saw Neville panting from runniny and helping them live,

"I guess that went well—" Auralie didn't got the chance to finish when she felt a hand wander to her cheek and pulled her towards Hermione's lip with eager and force.

She didn't hesitate to pull Hermione towards her, wanting to devour the girl's lips with the same eagerness.

For the first time she blocked out everything else and focused on Hermione who made her who she is now. Auralie pulled away from her but stayed as close as she could to Hermione, both forehead touching while they catch their breaths.

"I love you. Don't leave me, please." Hermione begged, whispering over the close space between both of them. Auralie shook her head and hushed and pulled her closer to her for a warm embrace.

Hermione looked over her shoulder and mouthed a 'thank you' to Neville who was holding the sword. He nodded with a smile and left, seemed proud that he saved someone today.

"I won't. Not again." Auralie assured her and looked behind her to see that there was no one left. It was deserted and empty, nobody was there. "That's weird..."

"What?" Hermione asked while she latched on Auralie's arm.

"It's quiet. Either a good thing or a bad thing."

Hermione and Auralie walked inside the great hall, people were smiling again and laughing. Celebrating a good victory today and honored those people who died in vain.

Auralie's eyes landed on Draco who was talking with Ron, probably apologizing. "I see my brother. I'll be right back." She excused and Hermione nodded but and both went their own way.

"Draco." Auralie called from afar with a huge smile on her face, the boy turned around and his eyes shines against the sun, Feeling happy to see his sister unharmed. Both of them enveloped into a tight hug, missing their companies.

"Thank you, again. For helping us." Ron said and bid his goodbyes making a small and simple smile to Auralie who looked at him, returning the smile.

When both siblings parted, Auralie looked at him curiously. "What was that all about?"

"Oh it was nothing. Weasley and his brother had gotten themselves in trouble, I was there." Draco said nonchalantly, like it was no problem.

"I saw mum leaving... With dad." Auralie said sighing in between her words, remembering how Narcissa looker at her with an apologetic, sympathetic eyes while she left. "Did you knew they were going to leave?"

Draco looked down and shook his head, "They probably planned it in the beginning. Do you think they'll take us with them if we came back?" He asked and Auralie nodded.

"That was why they were desperate to call us out earlier. They wanted to leave and they were taking us with them." Auralie whispered in realization of her parents' true intentions.

Draco's eyes went past Auralie and saw the Granger looking at their way with longing looks from afar. He grinned and looked back to his sister, "Your muggle-born friend keeps looking at you. Go before she pulls you away from me."

Auralie looked back and saw Hermione motioning her to come. "No more mudblood?" She asked to her brother whom shook his head.

"That girl." Draco pointed at Hermione, "Is the girl my sister loves. You managed to protect her in many ways, Sacrificed many things for her. I'm honored that someday, I get to call her my sister-in-law. That is unless you don't screw that up." He pointed at her chest, his own way of saying her heart.

Auralie laughed pushing him playfully. "I won't. I'll be back, don't go anywhere." She pointed at him while slightly walking backwards. Draco laughed and nodded watching his sister reunite with Hermione.

"You're stalking me now?" Auralie asked when she reached the girl. "I'm not complaining, I am quite a sight."

Hermione rolled her eyes smiling, "Come on, Harry and Ron went that way." She started to pull Auralie outside the doors, seeing the distant figures by the bridge.

Both girls jogged their way there and possibly laughing, happy that they can be freely together without worrying of who's going to get hurt. Thankful that Harry managed to rise from the dead and helped kill Voldemort once and for all.

"Hey you two." Harry greeted as he heard the footsteps behind him, they stopped walking already in the middle of the bridge. The boy was standing on the edge, looking down by the shallow waters beneath them.

He had the elders wand on his hand, not knowing what to do with it. He's thought about a lot on why the wand didn't work on Voldemort, why it never agreed with him. He knew who should handle it.

"Why didn't it work for him? The elder wand?" Hermione asked Harry who looked back.

"It answered to somebody else. When he killed Snape, he thought the wand would become his. But the thing is, The wand never belonged to Snape." He waved the wand around while he explains. "It was you who disarmed Dumbledore that night in the Astronomy tower." He looked at Auralie who seemed confused.

"So all this time it answered to me?" Auralie asked and Harry nodded. He tossed it to her in which she luckily caught. "So, I could've died if Voldemort knew. Huh." Auralie said in a neutral manner tone in her voice while fondling with the wand.

"What are we going to do with it?" Ron asked, but mostly at Auralie. "That's the elder wand. The most powerful wand in the world."

Auralie walked a few steps before taking the wand with his own two hands and breaking it in half, like a twig she picked up on the forest.

"Are you mad?" Ron asked and Auralie shrugged looking at the two pieces of the wand.

"Harry would've done the same thing, will you?" She asked Harry who nodded in agreement. She threw one piece on the left side of the bridge, and the other on the right so no one would find it and mend it.

"Auralie." Ron called and she hummed looking at him, waiting. "How did you manage to hide Hermione in your head, while... you know." He started to point to his head.

"While what?" Harry question, oblivious of what Ron was talking about.

"You-know-who— Voldemort, went inside Auralie's head. Went all crazy to know why she turned against her family." Ron explained snd Harry looked confused.

"I actually don't know." Auralie said shrugging, like it was nothing.

Unfortunately for her, the three people around her wanted answere especially Hermione who was intrigued and interested on how she did it. When they got the hint that Auralie wasn't speaking they backed off.

"So it's over?" Ron asked while they watched the sky, turning blue as the time went close to noon.

"It's over." Hermione sighed and looked at Auralie, heart fluttering just by looking at her smile and free.

"Well there was Ron kissing Hermione in the chamber of secrets—" Auralie started and Hermione slapped her arm making Harry and Ron widen his eyes.

"—Aurelia shut up!"

"Don't use that name!"

"Then don't bring up the past!"

"I was clearly joki— Hermione stop hitting me!"

"Are they together now or...?" Ron whispered to Harry who looked as oblivious as him.

"I don't know. You kissed Hermione?" Harry asked eagerly and Ron sighed knowing that it was a mistake to do that.

"Hermione Granger get off me!"

"Fine, If you stop bringing that up! Ron and I talked earlier and we both know it's a mistake."

"Well if you put it like that... Hermione stop hitting me— Fine! I'll stop."

"Thank you."

"Oh please you know you love me."

"Yes I certainly do."
