I took a sip of my beer and looked at Brett.

Gabby chuckled behind the counter "are you serious? i thought you were going to claw out Severide's eyeballs"

I felt someone sit down next to me "I heard about Severide"
Me "I heard about Erin"
Jay "are you okay?"

I sat up while rubbing my tights over the blanket "my body hurts"

Me "It is morning and neither of us had left while the other one was asleep. "

Me "I don't know if you have noticed but my level of trust in people is not very high right now"

Jay "This doesn't have to mean anything, you know. I know you are still moving on from Severide-"
I shook my head "Jay, i didn't sleep with you to get back at Kelly"
