it was the day after the boating day with the pate family, starlette s phone blowing up with fans trying to figure out who the guy is in the photo, her and her friends laughing at everybody's attempts.
star was with rudy at his apartment, chase chilling with cheezeits on the sofa watching netflix while rudy and star sat next to him, chase taking up the entire couch as he lay causing star to sit on the lovesac bean bag in the corner of the living room.
the boys attention was snatched away from their phones and playstation as they heard the facetime dial sound, thinking it was then but looking at star who held her phone in her hands, calling her mom.
"hi baby! how are you!" her moms voice echoed through the room.
"hey momma, i'm good, how are you?" she smiled, chase and rudy leaping over, loving her mom to bits, everybody did. she was the coolest mom to exist. her friends only met her over facetime, the two facetiming nearly everyday to catch up with star and her friends.
"i'm good, yeah! but guess what- oh hey boys!" she smiled through the screen, the boys squishing onto the large beanbag.
"hey momma carter!" the boys said in unison
"so, we're coming down to visit y'all! we're leaving tomorrow" she smiled, the girl gasping excitedly
"no freaking way, really!" she smiled
"yeah! i'm super excited! i thought we'd come surprise visit for your birthday next week, but you know me, i can't keep secrets" she laughed
"i'm super excited to see you guys! it feels like it's been forever since christmas" she sighed
"anyway, who's the boy in your instagram post, star you have to tell me! it better not be that noah boy, he's a little asshole for what he did" she scoffed
"i uh- no it's not, it's not noah. i haven't spoken to him since he left." she said, looking up at rudy who had a subtle smirk on his face, the girl blushing.
"i'll talk to you about it when i see you tomorrow, yeah?" she smiled
"uhh, fine, okay baby it was good catching up, we've got a lot of packing to do so i'll see you tomorrow, i love you!" she said
"i love you to mom, bye!" she smiled as she hung up, turning to smack rudy who laughed
"you didn't wanna tell her it was me, you got embarrasseddd!" rudy laughed hysterically
"shut up! it's embarrassing to talk about that stuff when the person is literally up my ass behind me" she growled
"i mean that's a little weird if i'm up your ass when your calling your mom" rudy joked, star smacking him over the back of the head
"rudeth pankow!" she growled
"alright i'm out, i ain't getting my ass beat, deuces" chase said, snatching his cheezeits and dipping to his room, leaving the couple alone.
"no fuckin on my lovesac, that cost to much damn money, don't even think about it" chase peeped his head out of his room
"you are so not funny!" she whined, lying back on top of him, his arms snaking around his waist and kissing her neck upto her cheek.

the next day came around quickly, rudy took star out shopping for the day, returning to her apartment to see her family in the living room. she knew they were coming, she was surprised to see rudy's mom and dad with them too.
"holy shit, hi!" she said, hugging them all individually
"wait- what are you doing here?" rudy laughed, hugging his parents with a smile plastered on his lips.
"it's you're birthday next week baby, we thought we'd surprise you!" his mom said smiling.
rudy and stars birthdays were a day apart so they'd always celebrate together with their family and friends. last year it was awkward and sad for the two, not being together and feeling like something was missing. each other. after celebrating together for almost five years, it hurt them both not to be with eachother on their special days.
the two spent the next few days with their families until the next week came around.

star woke up early as usual, worked out in the apartment complex gym with maddie then showered and ran down the hall to rudy and chases apartment as it was rudy's birthday
she saw chase cooking breakfast, said a quick hi before running to his room, jumped on his bed and smothered him with cuddles and kisses
"happy birthday baby!!" she shouted, him rubbing his eyes after waking from his sleep by his girl.
"thanks star" he chuckled, kissing her forehead before she calmed down and lay down on top of him, not in an annoying way but comfortable for the two, as he checked his phone and she posted something on instagram for his birthday.

today was stars birthday, but rudy took it to another level for star as he always did. he would spoil her with gifts and her favourite snacks and deserts. he would always treat her like the princess he says she is. and she really loved him for it.
she woke up to a room full of balloons that morning, rose petals surrounding her as she slept on the huge bed alone, rudy leaving early to surprise her with everything.
"good morning bubba" he smiled at the girl who couldn't contain her ear to ear grin, loving the love affection and attention her would give her for her birthday.
he would do this every year since the started dating when they were 16. besides last year when they were broken up, but he said he would make up for it this year.
he told her to pack a nice outfit as they had somewhere special to go after work, her doing so then him driving the two to set.
after what felt like forever at work, everyone had been let off earlier, rudy and stars family would watch and everything but left earlier than usual today, along with a few other friends on set.
star mom hired a party bus to take her and her friends to the mystery place for the twos birthday party, everybody knowing about the plan expect the two and had changed before being picked up, telling str and rudy to do also.
they later were surprised with a rooftop party at a restaurant they all loved to go too, booking the entire rooftop for the party, celebrating the two turning 21.
