"You are tuning into 2019 December's first Wednesday, YueDong Seoul, where music awakens your ears."
"Hello, I am RenD, NCT DREAM's Huang Renjun. Today, we will be having a very special guest."
"Hello, everyone!" He greets and both Korean and Chinese.
"How was your day today?" He smiles at the camera on the side in front of him.
"Regardless of how your day was today, please shed off your burdens and spend an hour with YueDong Seoul."
"Are you ready?"
"Let's start off by listening to a song. This is Jeon Jungkyung's <Wonder>."
Her song starts to play and Renjun smiles at the cameras, bouncing his head up and down at the soothing song.
He starts to mouth along with the lyrics, doing little dance moves on his seat as he continues to listen to her song.
The song was soft yet the lyrics were meaningful. A lost girl finding her way through her thoughts and wonders.
Renjun continues to mouth the song lyrics, enjoying the soothing song as he checks the comments coming in.
He sees the door open on the side of his eye. He looks up from the screen and looks at the person.
He smiles sweetly at her before she sits down beside him.
She puts on her headsets before waving at the cameras, giving them a sweet and kind smile.
A minute later, the song has ended and Renjun did a quiet clap.
"That is all from the song. Let us now welcome our very special guest, Jeon JungKyung." Renjun says,
"Good evening, everyone. I am Jeon JungKyung. Thank you for having me here." She smiles at Renjun and the cameras.
"Jungkyung-ssi, you just recently debuted with the song <Nepenthe> and everyone really loved it." Renjun says, glancing at his script.
"Can you please tell us what Nepenthe is all about?"
"Nepenthe is all about forgetting grief and sorrow. The lyrics are based on a girl who has felt many painful things throughout her whole life."
"Despite that, she found the beautiful things in life and adored them like the back of her hand."
"Because of that, she thinks to herself; I have loved life, therefore I shall have no sorrow or grief when she dies."
Renjun nods, staring at JungKyung as she explains her song's meaning.
"A lot of people really adored the meaningful song and are curious about what made you write that song?" Renjun asks,
"I helped with writing the lyrics with my senior, Rap Monster." She lets out a chuckle.
"Uhm- when I was younger and was still a trainee, I never really found life beautiful since there were a lot of bad things happening."
"And staying in the practice room and training, where's the beauty in that?" She smiles, remembering her memories.
"However, as I grow older and I soon start to realize that there is beauty in the practice room and that is me." She laughs,
"We all train really hard and I find hard work beautiful. Hard work comes out from trying, practicing, and training, like you and me." She says,
Renjun shyly laughs, his cheeks slightly turning red as he laughs.
"Despite all the rough training and countless tears and exhaustion, it all turned out beautiful in the end."
"Because of that, I learned how to adore myself and adore life as well. That's what inspired me." She finishes, having a sweet smile on her face.
Renjun continues to ask her about her album and even tries to make a casual conversation with her.
"Before our song break, let us read your comments and requests." Renjun says,
The two scrolls through the tablet, reading some requests and comments.
"May I read some?" JungKyung asks,
"Yes, you may." Renjun says, nodding.
"Dear Jungkyung-unnie, I am a very big fan of you ever since you have been introduced." She smiles widely.
"Can you please greet me and my twin sister a happy birthday today?" She felt her heart melt at the request.
"Happy birthday to Kim Jihyun and to your twin sister. I hope you both have a great birthday and thank you for supporting me." She says,
Renjun let out a silent chuckle from the sight of her wide sweet smile.
"Good evening to RenD and JungKyung. I am with my family this evening after coming back from China."
"Welcome back to Korea and I'm sure your family is happy to have you back." Renjun says before continuing to read the comment.
"May I request the song ______? We will be adding that to our playlist." Renjun looks at the producers.
"Hello, RenD Oppa and JungKyung Unnie. I hope you both as having a good evening." JungKyung starts to read.
"I am with my ill brother who recently starts to listen to NCT DREAM and Unnie's song. Can he request Walk you Home by NCT DREAM?"
This time, it was Renjun's heart melting.
"Of course, he may. I hope that your ill brother will get better soon." JungKyung says,
Renjun notices the soft smile on her face as she continues to scroll through the comments.
"To JungKyung Noona, I love your voice." Renjun starts to read a comment, making JungKyung look at him.
"Please play Hiraeth. P.S. I love you too." Renjun was looking at JungKyung when he said that.
JungKyung starts to feel shy as she let out a laugh.
The time of reading has ended and the songs people have requested starts to play.
Their microphones were turned off. They both remove their headphones as they listen to the songs.
"That was the comment." Renjun clarifies, making JungKyung laugh.
"Are you sure it's not just you?" She jokes, making the boy flustered.
The two continue to talk, making each other comfortable and laugh with their dumb jokes.
That continued before it was time to end the radio.
"Thank you, everyone, for tuning in today's YueDong Seoul. Thank you as well, JungKyung for being with us." Renjun points at her.
"Thank you very much for having me. It was very fun to be here today." She says, smiling at Renjun.
"That is all for today. Let us end the day with BTS's Euphoria." Renjun says,
JungKyung claps silently, excited to listen to her brother's song.
She starts to sing along to the song, knowing the microphones are off.
Renjun laughs as he watches her enjoy and decided to sing along as well.
The two laugh as they were able to harmonize at Jungkook's high note.
"Thank you for being here."
