9s: "Odd normally he be the first to wake up..."
Pod 153: "Answer it's due to the fact that Captain (L/n) and Yorha unit 2b snuck out of camp last night."
A2: "What? How do you know that?"
Pod 153: "This pod followed and recorded them last night."
9s: "Huh....not sure how I feel about that...."
A2: "Show me the recording."
Pod 153: "negative this pod is not assigned to unit A2."
A2: "Your pods are annoying you know that?"
Pod 153: "Affirmative your response has been noted."
A2 then looks at 9s which he immediately knows what's going to happen.
A2: "Hey shorty tell your pod to play the recording."
9s: "But why? I rather not intrude on their privacy..."
A2 then grabs him by the shoulders and stares at him with a demonic look.
A2: "Don't make me repeat it."
9s: (Gulps) "Ok A2 let's take it easy now....no need to do anything rash. Pod play the-"

A2 then goes over and hugs him.
A2: "Good morning my cute little brother! I'm glad to see you wake up!"
9s: (To self: "T-Thank God he woke up another moment and we probably be screwed.)

9s: "It's 10 am."
A2: "Were you up late? Both you and 2b were the only ones asleep still."
Y/n: "Yeah....I couldn't sleep so I went out to stretch my legs a bit and 2b followed me."

A2: "Did you two do anything?"
Y/n: "No all we did was chat for a bit then came back."

A2: "Something doesn't sound right....you both left in the middle of the night and all you did was talk?"

9s: "Well anyway...besides getting you food what should we do?"

We quietly left the room and proceed to the cafeteria. While we were eating we were approached by Johnson.
Johnson: "Hey kid."

Johnson: "How's vacation going for all of you?"

Y/n: "Eh I got enough things to work on."
A2: "Never better."
Johnson: "A2 your always on vacation."
A2: "Hey it got better now that I got this guy back in my life." (Points at me).

Johnson: "Well you see a certain lady wanted to see you immediately so she and I came her to find you also I'm here for food.

In Johnson's hand a A.I pops out of the chip..

A2 got pissed and immediately was reaching for her sword.
A2: "This damn A.I!"

Cortana: "oh my my own husband doesn't remember me...."

A2 was about to attack her but 9s hacked into her making her unable to move.
A2: "Hey!"
9s: (whistles)

Everyone: "Huh?"
Johnson: "Alright Cortana you had your fun."
Cortana: "Alright alright jeez anyway as he said i was just messing with you in all seriousness I was your partner."
Y/n: "Ahhh i see....soooo your not mad that i forgot about you or didn't come visit?"
Cortana: (Smiles) "Your forgiven...as long as you take me back and not die again."
Y/n: "Aright then! Welcome back to the team Cortana!"
Cortana Smiles and goes back into her chip and Johnson hands it over to me and I put it inside my helmet.
Cortana: "It's good to be back partner..."
A2: "Great....now she's back....horray..."
Cortana: "You know I can still hear you right?"
9s: "haha of course and it's good to have you back."
Cortana: "At least the boys are kind enough to accept me back."
9s releases A2 and she was able to move again although she was pouting.
A2: "tch whatever..."

Everyone sweatdrops and 2b walks in.
2b: "Morning...."
Y/n: "Hey 2b."
She sits down next to (Y/n).
9s: "Hey uhh 2b wheres your visor?"

She then takes it out and puts it on.

Y/n: "One second."
I pull the chip out and out cortana in the middle.
Cortana: "Hey 2b long time no see."
2b: "Cortana it's been so long it is good to see you."
Cortana: "Likewise."
Johnson: "By the way Cortana didn't you have a message or something from Dr. Ellen?"
Cortana: "Oh yeah she said she be coming by sometime next week to see you and shes not exactly happy."
Y/n: "Oh crap..."
2b: "Well things just keep getting better and better."
9s: "No kidding."
A2: "Great....another one...."
Y/n: "Well at the very least you saved me some time going to the bunker to meet you."
Cortana: "Well excuse me for wanting to meet my partner so badly."
2b: "Well besides the race what should we do?"
Cortana: "Well actually I have a favor to ask."
Y/n: "Go ahead."
Cortana: "While I was stuck in the bunker I read a report about the wreckage that you guys found and the two machines known as Adam and Eve. I would like to head down to this wreckage and see it for myself."
Johnson: "You sure ma'am? There's pretty much nothing left down there besides the dead rotting aliens."
Cortana: "Still I like to see things for myself either way maybe I can learn something."
Y/n: "Well we got nothing better to do so why not?"
Cortana: "Great! We can head down after your race then."
2b: "Well then we ready to move out?"
Johnson: "A race huh? I like to come down and watch."
9s: "Sure you can come along."
After eating everyone went to get my team, Devola, Popola, 14R and 2p then headed down to meet the machine.
Y/n: "This is the machine that challenges you? I was expecting it to have legs and arms not on of those flying ones."
2b: "Yup it's the one..."
9s: "It looks so slow..."
Flying Machine: "Are you ready to run for your lives?!"
Y/n: "So uhh who is running?"
2b: "9s?"
9s: "Huh? Me?"
2b: "Yup wanna have a go?"
9s: "Guess I'll try it."
Machine: "Great off to the first race then!"
We all head down to the first race and the twins were waving flags with 2b and 9s face on them. Rex was quiet as usual and Margaret was just....well Margaret. And Cortana was apparently recording it using my helmet.
Flying machine: "3....2....1....go!"
They both took of running...
Popola: "You guys can do it!"
Devola: "Come on 9s faster!"
2p: "Come on sis you can't lose to a machine!"
A2: "Oh boy..."
The race was simple and the duo easily won.
Flying machine: "Impressive on the first race now are you ready for round 2?"
They nod their heads and we headed down to the second area.
Flying machine: "Alright the flag is over there! Now who will run?"
9s: "I'll go."
2b: "You sure 9s? This race seems a little difficult...."
9s: "Hey it's just a race besides we're all here to have fun right guys?"
2p: "Yeah!"
Johnson: "Hell yeah kid." (Eating pop corn).
Y/n: "Where did you get the popcorn?"
Flying machine: "Now let's begin the race! 3....2....1...go!"
They both took off and 9s was jumping rooftop to rooftop and around a tree but sadly in the end he lost.
9s: "This can't be...."
Flying machine: "Come on you can't be THAT slow! Show me that you can run!"
A2: "Well 2b did ask you...."
The twins were comforting nines.
Cortana: "Well at least you tried.."
14R: "Don't worry nines you did great!"
Margaret: "My turn!"
They both took off and sadly she lost as well....
Margaret: (Sob) (Sob) " I-I'm sorry c-captain I thought I c-could win! WAHHH!"
Y/n: "(Petting her) "It's alright you did great!"
Rex: "Dang Margaret I thought you be faster than-"
Margaret punches rex off the rooftop K.O!
Margaret: (Hugs me) "Wahh!"
Y/n: (light chuckle) "There there...."
A2: "So whose next?"
2b: (sigh) "I'll go."
Flying machine: "Read 3....2....1...go!"
They both took off.
And the winner is 2b!
Flying machine: "Not bad! But the race isn't over yet we still have one more to go!"
Johnson: "Man I should've hungout more with you guys seems like you sure know how to make things interesting around here."
Devola: "You sure miss alot Johnson."
Johnson: "Can't be help after all the ladies always call for me when dangers around the corner."
Cortana: "At least you haven't changed a bit."
Johnson: "And why should I? it break the ladies heart if I did ain't that right Marines?!"
We all hear cheering and turn to see a bunch of unsc Marines there with Buck and Veronica.
14R: "How long were they here?"
Buck: "Pretty much since the beginning of the first race."
14R: "Well then...I didn't think this race attract so much attention."
A2: "Hey why not? Everyone's gotta relax every once in awhile."
Cortana: "Alright let's head down to the last race then."
We head down to the last area and this no looked impossible...
We stood one one side of the crater and the flag wielder was in the other side now that's cheating....
Flying machine: "So who will race?"
A2 "I got this."
9s: "What?! A2 actually wants to race?!"
A2: "shut up boy scout."
Flying machine: "Let the final race begin!"
They both took off running and the only problem I had with this race was that the machine can just fly across the crater to reach the flag wielder while A2 was running around the crater and the results are....
A2: "How the hell did I lose?!"
A2 was being held back by every everyone as she went into berserk mode and wanted to kill the machine.
Johnson: "Calm down A2!"
A2: "Its not fair when I have to run around the crater and all it does is fly straight to the finish line!"
Flying machine: "And its not my fault your a slow poke!"
A2 got mad and was starting to get loose.
Popola: "Uhhhh can someone help?! we can't hold her back!"
9s: "I got this!"
A2: "I swear if you fucking hack me I will personally kill you and give your body to 21o!"
9s: "And I don't got this."
Y/n: "Fine I got this.."
I walk towards her and stand in front of her.
A2: "Get out of my way (Y/n)! I'm going to kill this machine!"
I took my helmet off and kissed her on the cheek which made her froze.
A2: (Blushing) !?
A2 just collapses with a smile on her face.
A2: (starts rolling around on the floor) "He kissed me on the cheek!"
Devola: "Well that worked..."
Popola: "No fair where's my kiss?!"
Everyone sweatdrops.
9s: "ok I think I got a plan so ill go ahead for this race."
14R: "You sure nines?"
9s: "Yup I think I know what to do."
14R: (kisses his cheek) "Alright then go get him!"
Y/n: "Good luck!"
Flying machine: "3....2....1...go!"
And they take off.
At the end of the 3rd race nines managed to win against the machine. The machine sounded depressed and gave him a reward and then blew up since he said he no longer had a purpose. Everyone cheered for nines and lifted him up and he was just laughing.
9s: "Hey put me down! Hahaha!"
Timeskip
Cortana: "Hmmm....so this is the wreckage huh....well i gotta say I have to thank the goliaths for blowing up and revealing this place."
Y/n: "So what are we looking for cortana?"
Cortana: "I wanted to see the wreckage and see these dead aliens myself since all I found at my last site we're ashes and destroyed ships."
Johnson: "At least you don't have to worry about smell..."
Cortana: "Oh come on it can't be that bad."
Johnson: "First things first we are underground. Second we are talking about rotting dead aliens. And three I don't have a ost helmet or a gas mask."
Y/n: "Well could be worse at least they're dead."
A2: "Don't worry if something happens (Y/n) I will stay by your side and make sure to protect you this time."

We all started walking through the tunnels.

Flashback moment back at the main camp when Maragret and Rex were rookies...
Anemone: "Remember we are working along side with the humans as well and..."
Jackass: (who is bored out of her mind..) "Margaret....can we please leave...this meeting is soooo stupid.."
Margaret: "I wish but we kinda are locked in here until she opens the door..."
Jackass: "Ugh I rather be stuck in the desert digging through sand than this..."
Margaret: (trying to get Y/n's attention) "captain can you do something about this? I wanna leave..."

Margaret: "Uhhh captain?"
Jackass: "Looks like the kid shut off his brain and is sleeping through the meeting asince he has his helmet on no one can tell if hes awake or not .."

Before Jackass could finish she powered down by pulling her black box out and her body fell down to the ground catching everyone's attention.

Margaret: "Oh yeah...that happened..."

Y/n: "Why not put your earbuds in and listen to some music? That way you wouldn't have to listen to him talk all the time.."
Margaret: "But I never find time to go charge my iPod.. and plus I'm always sent out on missions and third its annoying trying to find parts to repair my headset..."

Y/n: "Speaking of which...what the heck did you do to your headset anyway?:"
Margaret: "Persona 3...."
Y/n: "say no more...I feel your pain..."
Devola: "Please don't remind me of Persona 3 it hurts so much remembering it..."

After a few minutes of calming down everyone got back on track and made it towards the door.
Johnson: "Well here we are after you kid."
I nod my head and walk through the doors and everyone soon followed after. We walked down the steps and went to where the aliens were.
Cortana: "Gotta say....they seen better days..."
Popola: "A-Are you sure they are dead?"
A2: "Looks like they are...huh strange never thought I see aliens in my life..."
Y/n: "So Cortana want to come out or you fine staying in my helmet?"
Cortana: "I like to come out thank you very much."
I removed Cortana's chip from my helmet and held it out and she appears on my hand.
Cortana: "Mind getting a little closer? I want to get a good view on them."
Y/n: "Rex, Maragret we need some light."
Both of them: "Yes sir."
They both pull out flashlights and point them.
Cortana: "Hmm interesting....judging by the looks of these corpses I want to say they were probably one of the last few groups that were killed off when though its hard to say...at the very least 100 years or so."
Rex: "But it still doesn't make any sense on why the machines would betray their creators I mean what purpose did it serve?"
Y/n: "Hard to say Rex....its already difficult for everyone at Yorha to study the data we found here and the machines that were buried here contained no workable memory log."
Margaret: "But Adam said that they turned their backs on their creators because they were infantile and were no longer needed."
Johnson: "You think the alien bastards would have a back up plan for something like this."
Devola: "Don't forget Johnson by the time these machines started killing them they probably had a lot more numbers than them making it easier."
Popola: "What about Pascal? I don't think every machine knew about the betrayal because from what you guys told us when you asked him for information the aliens suddenly stopped giving orders and haven't been heard from since."
A2: "You think hes hiding stuff from us?"
Y/n: "Hard to say but I doubt he really is hiding anything from us and even if he did he at least have his reasons. But it doesn't matter anymore right now all he cares about is creating a home for machines and wants to live in peace with us."
14R: "The only major concern right now is finding Adam and Eve and killing them."
A2: "So what now?"
Cortana: "Was this all there was when you guys checked the place out?
Johnson: "The two teams were me and my marines and Jackass with some resistance androids who came here to study the site. So far we found some old weapons and some of them are currently stored at the bunker while the rest is with Anemone and Jackass. As for the data that was stored in the computers we have a team at the bunker studying it right now as we speak however it may take some time since we never had a chance to translate alien language before."
Cortana: "Why let the resistance have the weapons? who knows what will happen if-"
Y/n: "Cortana this was the best choice at the time because we didn't want to hold any secrets from them after all we are allies and its best to let them have some of the tech and we agreed to keep it between us."
Devola: "Yeah don't worry right now the only ones who have access to them at the camp would be Jackass and Anemone only."
Cortana: "Well I'm not worried about Anemone but Jackass on the other hand is a different story."
Rex: "That's understandable but even Jackass knows her limits."
Margaret: "Plus she wouldn't want to waste extra time doing repairs."
Cortana: "Very well...anyway I gathered enough data here so I am good to go whenever you are."
Popola: "Well lets get out of here then every second we stand here I feel like the aliens are watching me and its creeping me out."
Devola: "Whatever you big baby."

She starts walking out the door and everyone soon followed. Once everyone reached the surface the others joined them and headed back to the camp.

After eating some lunch Johnson decided to head back to the bunker and get ready for work.
2p: "So what to should we do now?"
9s: "Not sure too be honest after the race I didn't think on what to do afterwords."
2b: "Well I need to go to the bunker and ask the commander something."
A2: "something on your mind?"
2b started blushing and everyone noticed.
Y/n: "Uhh 2b?"
2b: "It's....uhh kinda personal...."
Popola: "Why not tell us then after all aren't we family?"
Margaret: "Yeah come on B what's there to hide?"
Rex: "Hmmm....."

She started dragging her to our room.

We just chuckle at the sight and followed after. The rest of the day was spent watching the movie and all you can hear are muffled cries.
Later......
I woke up and see everyone else still asleep and turned towards the clock and see it was 10pm.
Y/n: "I'll never get used to persona 3.."
A2: "Same.."
Y/n: "Can't sleep?"
A2: "No you?"
Y/n: "I got enough sleep so I'm good for now.
A2 nods her head.
A2: "Want to go outside?"

Cortana: "Before you go at least take me out of your helmet."

I pull Cortana out and set her down on my table.
Cortana: "Well have fun you two I'll keep an eye out on things here.".

Me and A2 left the room quietly and left the camp.
Y/n: "So what do you want to do?"
A2 suddenly grows a sad face.
A2: "Well there's somewhere I have to stop by...."

After taking a pelican we flew for a while and then we finally reached what looked like some sort of memorial site.
A2: "Well we're here."
Y/n: "What is this place?"
A2: "This is pearl harbor and that is a memorial site I made in dedication to my former team..."
Y/n: "Your team?"
A2: (Nods her head) "Yeah....it's been awhile since I last came here...probably back when you were still a baby..."
Y/n: "What happened to them?"
A2: "We were ambushed by machines years ago and tried holding them off but there was just too many of them. One of my teammates sacrificed themselves to protect me and keep me hidden because I was damaged badly and when the fighting was over they were all gone.."
Y/n: "But what about 2b? You still have her didn't you?"
A2: "No...she wasn't built yet at that time....it was only me and other A model androids....2b was built a couple years after to help me get over my teams death. At first I hated her and wanted nothing to do with her....but eventually I accepted her as my little sister."
Y/n: "But what about now? 2b told me everything that happened between you two."
A2: (Eyes widen) "S-She told you?"
Y/n: "Yeah...she told me what happened that day you left Yorha...how you wish she was never built, how she was a failure...
Tears started forming in her eyes.
A2: "I was angry alright? Loosing you reminded me of my old team and it was just too much for me."
Y/n: "Have you two made up?"
A2: "Not yet...I want to but...I just don't know how to say it..."
Y/n: "Well knowing her being by her side is enough for her but if you want you two can always spend a day alone together catching up."

I hug her and felt her hug back and we stayed like this for a bit. Once she released the hug she walks over to the tomb stones and gets down on her knees while I stood back a bit and took my helmet off. A2 began talking to her friends.
A2: "Uhh hey guys it's been awhile since I last came here.."

A2: "Its been over 15 years or whatever and I figure I come by and see you guys again and this time I brought my little brother with me."
I walk over and place a hand on A2 shoulder and she grabs it and holds it.

A2: "I wanted to let you all know that I'm doing fine and still moving on with my life... but it's still a struggle everyday and I'm still not used to the fact that your all gone..."
A2: "Damn it I'm not good with these sorts of things so I'll just say it straight... I miss you guys! There's not a single damn day where I stop thinking about you guys! Especially you A4 I miss you so much. You were the best sister I could have asked for."
A2 squeezes my hand a bit.
A2: "If you guys were still here then maybe things would be different than they are now and maybe our family would have been bigger and you would've met your new brother and got along with him."

A2: "A4...you always told me that there was more to life than just fighting and I should find another reason to live and at the time I never understood that meaning...but now I know..."

A2: "Everyday when I take my sword out and stare at it all I could think about was ending my life just to be with you guys again....but now I can't..."

A2: "I'm no longer alone...like I used to be... I have two new sister who are always there for me and support me no matter what even though they can be annoying at times... and (Y/n) who I want to be with no matter what...without them I probably wouldn't be here today...so yeah I now have a reason to live..."

A2: "Your all probably laughing at me from where ever the hell you guys are at now but it doesn't change anything....until the day comes where I am forced to lay down my life...I'll continue to move on and live as your living legacy."

A2: "I'll miss you guys...but I know one day we'll meet again...so until then I'll see you next time..."
A2 smiles and kisses (Y/n) on the lips and after a few minutes broke apart.
Y/n: "Ready to go home?"
A2: "Yeah...let's head back..."
When we got back home everyone was still asleep and cortana was floating orb meaning she too was Sleep. However 2b was still not back.
Y/n: "Huh 2b is still not back?"
A2: (Kisses Y/n's cheek) "Shes probably at the bunker still anyway let's get some sleep."
A2 pulls (Y/n) to bed and they both fall asleep. And while A2 was asleep something happens...
A4: "Good night A2...I'll always be with you..."
A4 then goes over to (Y/n).
A4: "Thank you for taking care of A2 please continue to stay by her side little brother...."
She bends down and kisses his forehead and disappears.

White: "So 2b why did you come here?"
2b: "I wanted to ask you a question."
White: "And that is?"
2b: "I want to upgrade A2 or at least give her a new body."
White: "And is she ok about this?"
2b:......
White: "You didn't ask her did you?"
2b: "No because I know there aren't any A unit bodies left and I'm asking if we can make a new one and possibly upgraded."
White: "i see....well why don't we talk with her about it...."
2b: "Thats the thing I'm not sure if she wants to after you know...."
White: "I'm sure everything will be ok."
The two continued discussing about the possible plan.
