Danny had slightly opened his eyes from his nap and sees the room already darkened, he instantly sat up on the bed and looks around and sees the lamp from the other side of the bed where Peter was sitting and using his computer. He looks at the clock beside the lamp and had sighed in relief knowing he only slept for an hour and was still time for the dance that was an hour away. He thought to himself that Peter was downstairs and he should start getting ready, he had stood up from the bed getting ready to walk out until the door had opened that revealed Peter with his blown dried hair and his shorts. Peter turns on the light by the light switch beside him and had turned pale with a collected expression but was still deeply annoyed as he sees Danny red and notices him staring at his bare chest and look away.
Peter:You're awake?
Danny:...yeah
Peter:Thank god...I didn't want to change while you were asleep, since knowing you I doubt you'll be able to sleep still

S-so you went to shower huh?

Peter had turned white as he sees Johnny and pushes Danny away with his hand on his mouth*
Peter:Hey hot head! Haven't you learned to knock? What's with you guys suddenly breaking into my room like you own it?

Peter:...oh right! Danny leave and get ready, we've been like this for about 15 minutes now, don't you think you had enough?

They both were sitting on the couch with their phones in hand and the door had opened revealing MJ and Jessica. Jessica was wearing a dark red velvet suit with a black undershirt underneath, she had her hair straight ironed as she had her hands in her pockets with peachy natural lipstick. While MJ was wearing a sparkly dark green strapless dress with a white silky sweater over her shoulders that had white fur around the collar, he hair was curled as she had her black glasses on and red lipstick. She waves excitedly at the boys as they waved back while Sam's face had brightened
Sam:You look great MJ! I like the white sweater you have on
MJ:Thank you Sam...I bought it at a swap meet and I just fixed it a little bit
Luke:You look great too Jess
*he spoke nervously as his cheeks were red, Jessica looks at him and smiled in response*

Johnny glances at Peter who was silently waiting at the bottom of the staircase, although he couldn't see a close shot of his face he can tell he was nervous due to his fidgeting hands. He let out a small sigh as he closed his eyes feeling nervous for the boy and looks away before Peter would notice his staring, Peter grew redder and redder as he already sees Danny a few steps in front of him with a light grey suit. He wasn't wearing a tie and only wore a white collar shirt underneath where the top buttons weren't connected, he pushed his wavy curled hair behind his ear as he blankly looks at Peter's flushed face not giving a response as he was lost in Danny's looks, he nervously smiled as he formally spoke to Peter*
Danny:Is something wrong Peter?
Peter:U-uh no! It's just that you look...uh...pretty! And uh handsome...you look great
Danny:...oh uh thanks, you too
*they both stood awkwardly equally flushed as Johnny, Sam, and Jessica tried to contain their laughters from the awkward mood between them while MJ and Luke remained silent as they tried not to laugh along with them*
Peter:Actually uh I...have something to give you...
Sam:Is it a ring?!
*he exclaimed with a shout as Peter snapped his neck at him with a glare, Sam then received a punch from Jessica as Luke and MJ turned pale and froze as ice in their tracks*

*he asked formally with his head down avoiding Peter's gaze trying to ignore Sam's question, Peter did the same returning the awkwardly tension between them, Danny then looks back up to him as Peter spoke*
Peter:Uh it's a pin that I want us to wear...

Peter:*he nodded in response and he shoved his hands inside his pocket taking out the two boutonnières, Danny stared in surprise as he walks down the staircase to take a closer look. He sees small royal blue roses on each of the pins with fake dark green leaves around it and silver lace around it, then finally dark blue ribbon wrapping around the stem like a bouquet of roses. Danny then softly smiles*
Danny:Did you bought them just today?
Peter:...yeah...Liz told me about it and I decided to buy a pair for us...to show that we're a date since it's matching
Danny:W-wouldn't you be a bit anxious if everyone knows about us? You are a bit shy about it...
Peter:I am but...after you nearly crying last night of me not showing enough affection to you in public, I felt a bit bad...so I wanted to do this at least so you wouldn't get mad at me...

Then after he was done he cups Peter's face with his hands and pulls him close, Peter still determined to look away then Danny hugs him close*

*The team watched Peter and MJ awkwardly smile to the cameras and Luke had wrapped his arm around Danny's neck*
Luke:It must suck for Aunt May to not ask to take pictures of just you and Peter right?
Danny:I don't mind...I'm not the type who likes being in front of cameras
Sam:Even video cameras? You've been on the TV a couple of times and on articles
Danny:I've been forced to do them...Ward would come up with a threat for me to actually follow his orders
Jessica:What kind of threat? It must be serious if you would often give in to his requests
Danny:He would mainly threaten to send Joy's dog away and not make me visit anymore...
*Sam and Luke then let out gasps as Jessica stood with her usual resting expression*
Sam:Why would he threaten a dog? The hell is wrong with him?
Luke:It's clearly unforgivable...
Jessica:(are they seriously getting pissed off over a threat of a dumb dog?)
Aunt May:I'll drive you and MJ to the dance Peter
Peter:What about the others?
Aunt May:Jessica has her own car right? She can drive them

Aunt May:I want to talk about you two for a minute while we head to school, it won't be long...
MJ:Uhm...sure Mrs.Parker...we'll tell them
*she and Peter walks over to the team and they turn to them with their usual calm and collected expressions*
Me and Peter will go to school with Aunt May, she offered to drive for us...
Jessica:Well that's good...so we'll see you at the dance?
MJ:Yep, we'll be there in time to meet up with Ava
Peter:Speaking of which, Johnny, don't you have to leave?
Johnny:You want to kick me out so bad?
Peter:Well you are blocking Danny, so move
Johnny:Geez fine...
*he rolled his eyes as he moved away from Danny as Danny smiles at Peter making him warm inside*
Peter:Make sure the pin won't fall off okay?
Danny:Okay, I'll see you at school
Peter:*he nods with a smile as Luke, Jessica, and Sam stood silently and annoyed and they dragged Danny to Jessica's car as they waved goodbye to MJ and Peter*

*he waves at her and he had stepped into his car and drove away in flames, Peter and MJ walked to Aunt May and sat in the backseat on her car. MJ had kept the window open to her left side as Aunt Anna had crouched down to the height of the car window*
Aunt Anna:Make sure to have fun sweetie okay? I'll be taking care of your mother and Kristy
MJ:Okay Aunt Anna, I'll be home in a few hours so don't stress too much...
*Peter was looking out the window as he watched Jessica's car drive away ahead to school than them with his friends inside, Aunt Mag then starts the car and he looks forward*
MJ:You wanted to tell us something Mrs.Parker?
Aunt May:Y-yes...I just been wondering if you two are in a relationship?
Peter:What?
Aunt May:Are you two involved romantically? I wouldn't mind if you are but you should talk to me about it first
MJ:We're not in a relationship Mrs.Parker...you probably misunderstood us
Aunt May:Ah really? Then yes I must have, though I must have thought Peter was talking about you since he would sneak out alot to eat dinner and gotten his date canceled, I just wanted to know if you know the person and might help him
Peter:Aunt May, it's not that serious...you shouldn't overthink about that
MJ:Well I see Peter as a little brother so I don't think of him that way, but I'm sure he worked things out with his previous date
Aunt May:I see...well I do exaggerate...thank you for clearing it up for me Mary Jane
