'My head fucking hurts.'

I squeezed my eyes as I started to awaken from the fog of my dreams. I attempted to crack my eyes open, but the light of my bedroom was too blinding me. My body felt stiff as all hell, likely a result of falling asleep in a weird position last night.

'I'm never getting drunk again.'

I sat up, scratching my head as I arduously found the strength to open my eyes.

Slowly, I began to notice that my bed wasn't nearly as comfortable as I remembered. And it didn't smell quite the same either.

Chatter and shuffling not too far off...

I was shocked into complete awareness when I realized that I was not in my bedroom. And, to make matters worse, I wasn't completely dressed.

I sat in a foreign bedroom (which I soon realized was a hotel) in my underwear.

'What the hell happened?'

My eyes darted around the room worriedly, finding that my clothes were strewn all over the place. I spotted some foreign clothes among mine as well.

'What the hell...'

I was starting to panic. My purse was set on the nightstand and I snatched it, pulling it onto the bed with me. There were many frantic question that could be answered with just a few texts and calls.

In the meantime, I tried to piece together what the hell happened last night.

It was nightmare, hearing man outlandish and awful things about Wonho. After a night of partying at Club Dolos to relieve stress, I was now back to reality. One worse than a nightmare, laid up in a foreign hotel room.

I texted Changkyun furiously. Praying that he had any clues as to how I ended up here.

What happened last night? My fingers were shaking as I typed away. I followed up with: Did I leave the club with someone?

Changkyun replied quickly: Yeah, you were dancing with, like, five dudes. The one you left with was pretty hot.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me!" I yelled.

My heart beat rapidly in my chest as I looked around the hotel room.

This was no joke. Unfortunately, it was seriously happening.

I vaguely remembered Eungkyun and Minji feeding me drinks nonstop. But after that...

Nothing.

I stumbled to the bathroom, in desperate need of a shower and a time machine. On the mirror was writing in red lipstick: Thanks for last night. The writing seemed familiar. But I was too overwhelmed to even consider where I've seen it before.

"What the hell did I do?" I muttered in disbelief.

All at once, I was overcome with sickness. My hangover was giving me the worst headache ever, and I doubled over in nausea. I threw up for what felt like ever in the toilet.

When I was done, I washed my mouth out and called the only person I knew I could trust.

My hands shook as I searched for Minhyuk's number in my contact list. I dropped the phone, stumbling down to pick it. Once it was in my hand again, I called him.

It rang for a moment before he answered.

"Hello?"

"Minhyuk." I broke down immediately, crying.

His voice immediately deepened as he became serious. "Yuri, what's wrong?"

"I..." Shit, I didn't even know where to start. "I'm at a hotel."

A beep caught my attention. It notified me that a call was waiting, and it was from Wonho.

"Shit..." I needed more time to think things through before speaking to him.

"What's going on?" Minhyuk pressed.

"It's Wonho. He's calling."

"You're not with him?" He sounded incredulous.

"No..." I took a deep breath, "it's complicated."

"It can't be that complicated," Minhyuk groaned. "What happened?"

"I went to meet someone a the club." I explained, my head spinning.

"YOU? Went to a club?!" He yelled. I had never heard him so shocked and angry. "Who the hell were you meeting?"

"Mr. Eyebrow- I mean, Changkyun," I quickly corrected myself." He came to the school and told me that he knew Wonho's secrets. And wanted to tell me them. Since I wanted to know, I went to his club..."

"I know that guy," Minhyuk grumbled. "He's not the kind of guy you want to hang out with."

"Well, he and Wonho are apparently besties. So I don't know who to trust now." I muttered.

I heard another beep as Wonho called me again.

"You need to talk to Wonho. He's probably freaking out right now," Minhyuk urged. "He called me not too long ago, asking where the hell you were. Did you tell him you were with me?"

"I did," I replied. Wonho called back and I groaned, "I'm going to call him."

"You should," Minhyuk agreed, "And be honest!-"

I hung up, taking a few deep breaths before calling Wonho back.

He answered immediately.

"Yuri, where the hell are you?" Wonho voice was filled with relief for a moment before he became livid, "You never came home last night."

I considered lying. But decided against it, because lying is what put me in this situation.

"I'm... at a hotel," I replied, my voice defeated.

The phone line was silent.

"I'm coming to get you. Send me your location," he replied curtly before hanging up.

I sat back down on the bed, engulfed in a chasm of anxiety and uncertainty. I had never been in this situation. One-night-stands was something I never, ever, did; especially considering my virgin status.

And if it happened, it was only because I was drunk.

There was no use sitting around feeling bad for myself. I decided to freshen up, stepping into the shower. I scrubbed my skin with the hotel's body wash, trying to get rid of the scent of alcohol that still lingered. Once I realized that an unknown man probably touched me, I scrubbed my skin twice as hard.

Sadly, no amount of exfoliating would rid me of last night's mistakes.

Even when I was finished, I still smelled alcohol on my breath.

Once out of the shower, I called the reception to ask them to bring me a toothbrush, floss, and mouth wash.

"It'll be up in five minutes!" The receptionist said cheerly.

"Thanks," I replied dejectedly. Then I realized someone must have booked the room, because I certainly was too drunk to. This was my chance to see who did. "Hey, can I ask what name is on this room?"

"Of course!" she replied. I heard some clicking before she replied, "The room is under Hyunwoo. Although, it was paid for in cash. So all other charges will need to be paid for when you check out."

Hyunwoo?

That name vaguely sounded familiar. I could almost visualize Minji introducing me to someone with a name like that last night.

I walked around the room dressed in a robe, examining the "crime scene."

Mine and the guy's clothes were strewn all over the room. If his name was Hyunwoo, then he left behind his Armani jeans and Loubitton t-shirt. Everything was gathered up as evidence and set on the bed. I tried to hide the mystery man's clothing in mine, so Wonho wouldn't have to see it.

Rather than changing back into my outfit from last night, I put on the pajamas that the hotel provided. After brushing my teeth and having an existential crisis, I heard an angry knock on the door.

'That's him.'

I started to shake as I opened the door, hanging my head in shame. I couldn't look Wonho in the eye, but I knew I had to. I chewed on my lip nervously as he stood before, seething.

"Yuri, what the hell are you doing here?"

"Um..." My voice trailed off. He pushed past me to get into the hotel room, like he was looking for someone.

But I was alone.

I turned around, closing the door behind me.

"I know you weren't with Minhyuk last night, so what were you doing?" He pressed. Then he saw the clothes on the bed, rummaging through them until he found Hyunwoo's t-shirt and jeans. Wonho almost dropped them in utter shock. "Did you... sleep with someone?"

I stared at the ground silently, unsure how to respond. Because, in all honesty, I didn't know.

"I don't remember."

He stared at me incredulously, like he was ready to yell again. Wonho's fist tightened at his side, the angered expression soon turning to one of hurt and disappointment.

It was obvious that I messed up, I considered apologizing.

But then I remembered that Wonho was at fault too. He had absolutely no moral high ground to stand on. He couldn't look at me like a pariah, because he was worse than me.

"You want to know what I was doing last night?" I challenged, advancing on Wonho with anger in my chest. "I was hanging out with your friend, Changkyun, who told me a lot of interesting stuff about you."

He paused as if putting the puzzle pieces together. "You fucked Changkyun!?!" Wonho yelled.

"No," I paused, rubbing my eyes in frustration. "But don't change the subject!"

"I'm changing the subject?!" He scoffed, "I found you in a hotel room with some guy's clothes," he flung the garments across the way. They hit the adjacent wall of the bathroom and fell with a light thud. "But I'm changing the subject?"

"I'm sorry, okay? I made a mistake," I said, my face in my hands." I had no idea I was going to get drunk. I went there with the intention of not drinking at all. I don't know what happened after I talked with Changkyun. Things just slowly started getting worse and worse, and crazier and crazier... Before I knew it, I was dancing with some of his girlfriends." I paused in realization. "AcTuAlLy, I'm sure you know them: Eunkyung and Minji. They were your friends, weren't they?"

Wonho was taken aback.

"So you do know them," I pointed an accusatory finger.

"So what if I do?" He huffed. "It doesn't even matter, I don't talk to them anymore."

"I'm surprised you remember them, since Changkyun said you hooked up with tons of girls."

Wonho remained silent.

"I'm almost certain those two got me drunk on purpose because they don't want me to marry you," I continued. "And you wanna know what else Chankyung said? He said that you used to be a drug dealer, drug user, and that you have a child," I scoffed. "So even if I did sleep with some random guy from the club, what does that even matter to you?"

Wonho finally exploded. "Okay. So what? I used to be a whore." I could see his eyes start to water, "At least I wasn't in a committed relationship when I was doing that."

Seeing Wonho get emotional made me do the same. My eyes brimmed with tears, I didn't say anything.

This was so different from my relationship with Shownu. He was a virgin, like me, and wanted to wait until marriage. But Wonho... he's done it ALL, apparently. My relationship with Shownu never felt this torrential and turbulent. I never had to ask someone else about his business.

This committed relationship with Wonho wasn't one I made by choice. But somehow, I felt the pangs of guilt.

"Besides, most of what he's telling you isn't true."

I rolled my eyes, "Sure."

'How convenient, Changkyun's a "liar."'

"What?" Wonho immediately recognized the sarcasm in my voice.

"I don't believe you." I replied, "How am I supposed to believe anything you say? You lied to me about who you are!"

"I didn't lie, I just omitted," Wonho argued, "You know me, why would you believe a stranger?" I could have sworn I saw a tear escape Wonho's eye, but he turned away from me as he continued ranting. "I'm the one who should be mad, not you. If you wanted to know the truth about me, you should have just fucking asked!"

The flippant remark pissed me off.

"I did!" I countered."And you refused to fucking answer."

Our words hung in the air, colored by frustration and heated with anger. I started to wonder if this was finally the end for us.

"Forget it, let's just go."
