Spencer woke up to the sound of his phone ringing. He sat up and answered it.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Spence."
"Elliot? Why are you calling this early?"
"It's Eleven in the morning," Spencer looked at the clock.
"I slept in," he whispered.
"What?"
"I slept in."
"I thought you were at work?"
"I was supposed to be but Em- my boss, that's not the right word. Emily is the unto chief of the BAU and yesterday I slept in my office without knowing and she came in. She told me to get some sleep and if I stayed awake all night again I didn't have to come to work today, but instead of staying up all night I slept in."
"Wait, hold up. You stayed up all night?"
"I couldn't fall asleep!"
"Why?"
"I-" because of the kiss last week, he wanted to say.
"Spencer?"
"Yeah?"
"Why couldn't you go to sleep?"
"B- Because of the k-kiss last week!" he said really fast sighing after, instantly regretting saying what he said.
"Oh,"
"I'm sorry I shouldn't have-"
"No, it's okay. I called to see if we can go get coffee and talk about it."
"Sure, yep, yes, I'd like that!"
"How about two?"
"It's a date"
Spencer hung up the phone and got out of bed. He went to his kitchen and ate cereal.
