Third Person
Today is the second day of Twice's comeback preparation. The girls are getting ready to leave the dorm and go to the building for their schedule.
Today they will be learning the choreography for their comeback song. Which is why everyone woke up early to get to the building in time.
Y/N and Tzuyu went out of their room as soon as they finished preparing. They were laughing as they went out of their room because Tzuyu realized she wore her shirt backward. That funny accident made the younger laugh her lungs out.
"Girls! Come on, the managers are already waiting for us outside!" Jihyo called.
As Y/N and Tzuyu got downstairs, the younger can't still stop laughing as she's watching Tzuyu checking if she missed something else or wore something backward.
"Can you guys move faster? We have to be there on time." Chaeyoung said to Y/N and Tzuyu which made Y/N stop.
She don't know but she sensed something off with Chaeyoung's tone of voice. She just ignored it when Tzuyu seems fine with it.
"Let's split up. two goes with manager Kris, four with manager unnie, then four with manager oppa." Nayeon suggested.
As they agreed, Y/N unconsciously followed Tzuyu as they were standing next to each other. Tzuyu went in the manager unnie's car. As Y/N was just about to get inside, Chaeyoung stopped her.
"Y/N, you'll go here."
"Uhm, okay."
Chaeyoung and Y/N went to Kris' car. Tzuyu, Sana, Nayeon, and Momo went to the manager unnie, while the rest went with manager oppa.
While they are in the car, the car where the two sisters are is full of silence. Y/N already notices that there is something wrong, Chaeyoung doesn't even smile since the left the dorm.
"Unnie, are you alright? Are you feeling well?" Y/N asked as she was concerned.
Normally Chaeyoung would talk, whether it was about random things or scolding.
"I'm fine."
Y/N nodded but she can't seem to see the satisfaction of Chaeyoung's reply. As they got to the building, everyone left the cars.
"Alright girls, is there anything you want us to get? Do you still have time, coffee, or anything?" The manager asked.
The girls nodded and told them to want they want. After that, they head to the dance practice room where they will stay for the rest of their schedule for today.
As they are waiting, some of the girls already started warming up.
"Y/N, you need a little help in there?" Tzuyu asked.
" It's fine, I think I can work to it," Y/N said.
"Alright."
Y/N continued warming up when she felt someone was watching her. She saw from the mirror that Chaeyoung was looking at her but as their eyes met, the older averted her gaze.
After some minutes, the drinks of the girls arrived. They stopped for a second and grabbed their drinks after thanking their manager.
"The choreography will be here in a minute, just be ready, alright?"
"Okay, Thanks unnie."
Time passed by quickly, they started the practice as soon as the choreographer arrived. Everyone worked hard to memorize the steps, and they put all their focus on it, but even after that, they still manage to put some time together away from seriousness.
"Y/N, are you alright?" Mina asked as she was standing next to Y/N.
Y/N nodded and just looked at her reflection.
"Everyone gets the steps pretty fast." Y/N sighed, mumbling the words.
But of course, Mina heard it.
"You're doing good."
Y/N just smiled as she went to the corner to get her drink. She's a bit anxious as everything is progressing very fast for her. It wasn't the same moment when she do the work alone. It makes her think that she'll be the cause of the delay in her group.
Y/N is biting her lip as she watches the others. She may seem like she's just resting but inside her, she's in deep thoughts.
"Okay guys, let's start from the beginning."
Y/N snapped back and she went to her position. She tried to brush off the worries she was feeling and continued with the rest of the members. They took a break after hours of practicing.
Y/N sat down on the couch while the other girls are playing even after the exhausting hours they spent with them.
As Y/N can't seem to get away with the overwhelming thoughts flooding her, she decided to call someone she could talk to.
It will be easier for her if she'll just talks to the other girls, especially Chaeyoung, but the older ones seems not in the mood since they left the dorm, and Y/N considers that.
About the other girls, she was shy to talk to them as they are doing well and Y/N, she thinks she can't catch up.
"Unnie, I'll just make a call," Y/N said to Nayeon as she's the one closer to Y/N.
"Okay, be back after that."
Y/N nodded and grabbed her phone. She dialed Ashley's number but as time played with her, her best friend can't seem to be reached.
Y/N entered the emergency exit room and sat by the stairs as she tried to contact her best friend again.
"Come on, Ash."
Y/N sighed as she gave up. She leaned her head on the railing as she tried to forget the unwanted thoughts.
Meanwhile, inside the practice room, the other girls are having their break with their phones. Chaeyoung, on the other hand, is practicing some steps when Mina went to her.
"Chae, you think Y/N's doing okay? She seems not fine."
"I don't know."
The older was confused by the latter's reply. It's nothing like her, normally she would notice a thing especially when it's about her sister.
"Are you alright? I haven't seen you talk to her since this morning."
"What do you mean? I was with her when we get here."
"Did you talk to her?"
Chaeyoung looked at Mina as she stopped.
"She's fine, Mina. Nothing to worry about. If she's not doing well, she could easily go to Tzuyu." Chaeyoung said with a sense of jealousy.
Mina on the other hand failed to see it, but she sensed that there was something wrong so she didn't stop.
"Tzuyu? Why would you think she would go first to Tzuyu?" Mina asked.
Chaeyoung shrugged as she continued to look at herself through the mirror.
"Tzuyu, can you come here for a while?" Mina asked the younger who was sitting in the corner with her phone.
Tzuyu stood and went to the couple with innocent eyes.
"What is it?"
"Did Y/N tell you something about you?" Mina asked. She watched as the taller frowned and looked at the both of them.
"About what?"
"See?" Mina said to Chaeyoung.
"What is it? Am I in trouble?" Tzuyu asked as she noticed the little tension between the couple.
"Ask yourself, maybe you would know," Chaeyoung mumbled making the two girls dumbfounded.
"Chaeyoung, stop playing mind games, alright? What happened?" Mina asked.
Tzuyu on the other hand stepped back as she knows something is bound to explode.
The other girls also stopped as they heard Mina.
"Mina, it's not me. They were the ones doing something behind my back."
"What?" Tzuyu asked confusedly.
"Oh stop that act, you were making your moves to my sister, I heard you two last night."
"Tzuyu!" Nayeon called as she didn't believe what she was hearing from Chaeyoung.
"Hey, hey, can we talk about this without letting this out? What 'doing something behind your back' what 'last night'? " Jihyo asked.
"Right, what did I do wrong? Because I can't seem to remember what I did wrong last night." Tzuyu asked as she was completely confused.
"Tzuyu, try to remember," Jeongyeon said.
"I told you I don't remember. We ate and went to the room, I gave Y/N a massage and did my sleeping routine. What's wrong with that?!" Tzuyu asked as she was getting frustrated by the situation.
"See, you gave a- wait, what?" Chaeyoung asked.
"I gave her a massage. I asked her what can I do to her because she seems so tired and tense. Then she asked me if I can give her a massage."
"You...No, I heard..."
"Chaeyoung, did you think...-" Mina asked as she stopped.
"I'm so sorry. I thought- Oh my, this is so embarrassing, I'm sorry Tzuyu!" Chaeyoung said as she started to get shame of her act.
The other girls sighed in relief knowing it wasn't a big deal and just a misunderstanding. Chaeyoung on the other hand keeps saying sorry to Tzuyu, gladly, the girl didn't take what Chaeyoung told her seriously.
"I may want to steal your spot as Y/N's number one fan, but I won't do THAT because I respect you. Yes, I tease you sometimes, but that's only for fun. Besides, Y/N obviously thinks of me as her friend or sister. Nothing to be worried off, unnie." Tzuyu said as she shook her head and chuckled.
"I'm really sorry, I shouldn't have jumped to the conclusion."
"Chaeng, you need to clean your head sometimes," Dahyun said making Chaeyoung sigh and the other's laugh.
"Can we not tell this to Y/N? I don't want her to be disappointed or upset with me."
"It's okay, unnie. It's nothing to me, let's just forget it and leave it all behind." Tzuyu said.
"Thank you, Tzuyu."
"I hope you learned your lesson, Chaeyoung," Jihyo said.
"I do, unnie."
"And for those who want to try and sneak a move on Y/N. I hope you learned what will happen too." Jihyo said as she looked at Momo.
"What- why me?! Chaeyoung, trust me, Y/N see me nothing but a food buddy, that's all." Momo said.
"Someone's sounding so defensive," Tzuyu said making the others laugh.
