3rd Person's POV
Our heroine, Princess Elizabeth, and Prince Liam decided to spend some time which each other, it was mostly because of the council's orders so they had no choice.
Mainly in the library and our princess haven't visited the orphanage because of the prince's visits, keeping the prince company and sort of avoiding a possible person who might tell the prince that she loves her, etc.
Basically she was avoiding Althea because she really has a runny mouth in having no shame.
"Your highness Elizabeth, may I ask you something?" (Prince Liam) asked after sighing at his book about fairy tales and magic.
"Yes, you may." (Elizabeth) said bluntly as she continued fixing her gaze on her book that contained information on how to make your magic stronger. She focused on magic notes especially about her time management for extra class. Mainly about etiquette, the theory about magic and practice, geography, history, science, basic manners, and just... many more.
She's going to be busy preparing to be Queen and it is utmost for her to have knowledge about everything. She might not even have time to visit the orphanage often after this but at least she can still train herself even if she lost Victoria, the only teacher who had excellent teaching skills.
"I have noticed that you no longer visit the orphanage where we first met."
Elizabeth stopped writing her notes and come to look at the prince. "Are you perhaps stalking me?"
The prince hastily shook his head, "I would never! It's just that I visited the place because I have unexpectedly... made a friend." (Prince Liam) said while scratching his neck.
Elizabeth thought for a moment. 'A friend? Who could it be I wonder.'
"May I know who it is?" (Elizabeth) asked she turned to her notes. Going back and forth from her book as Prince Liam closed his, he came closer to Elizabeth and took a peek at her work. "Remember the girl who called me prince of something?"
Elizabeth's face turned grey. How can she forget the most annoying person that ever existed? "Yes, I do and if I'm being honest she's really hard to forget." (Elizabeth) looked away because she felt something warm on her face but paid no attention to it.
"She intrigues me, perhaps she's more than what she looks." (Prince Liam) said with interest in his eyes.
Elizabeth stopped writing and stood up from her chair to look at the prince that was distracting her, "What do you mean by that?"
He held Elizabeth's hand and dragged her out of the palace with a bunch of guards in tow, "Dearest fiance, it's better to just show you than explain." he said as he motioned to the servants, "Prepare my carriage and bring us into the orphanage."
Out of the blue, he dragged Elizabeth by no choice and she just went along with it. Why? Because of curiosity. Think about it? What prince that uses phoenix magic became interested in an orphan? A commoner too.
Commoners usually have normal magic and have less aptitude for magic as well as mana. They can only just use it for daily lives but for advanced spells, they might need intense training if they want their magic to grow. Nobles just have this huge advantage to where they get rare kinds of magic that commoners can also have but it's mostly because of pure luck and sometime's they get accused of their mother having an affair with a noble.
'But maybe I'm overreacting, maybe it's not about magic but her personality?'
She did have a pretty decent personality, for protecting the other kids at the orphanage and being just a carefree person that they trust. Wait... but what if it was all an act? Not on the saving the children but the carefree personality... surely she must have signs of trauma from that experience but is she just overreacting things?
"We're almost there." (Prince Liam) said that popped her out of her thoughts. She stopped thinking and started organizing her feelings. Elizabeth needed to be cold and untouchable in her mind that's what she thought of over and over again.
The carriage stopped as it creaked a little. One of the guards opened the door and assisted the two for the snow below then was a bit deep this day. Inside the orphanage though it seemed like they at least shoveled the snow away. "You know I don't like how you're dragging me into this, Prince Liam." (Elizabeth)
He just smiled and tried holding Elizabeth by the hand to drag her but she quickly took it away before he even had the chance to touch it. "I don't need you to hold me." she continued and started walking forward leaving the prince behind but he ran to catch up. He ordered the guards to stay and guard the carriage. They followed the prince's orders and stayed.
'I thought to hold the hand of your fiance was normal?' (Prince Liam) thought to himself and tried to understand what Elizabeth might be thinking right now.
They knocked on the doors as they heard someone said, "Coming!"
Elizabeth was familiar with this voice and noticed it was Victoria. She really missed the only maid she considered a close family. The door opens and Victoria was there in her new nun outfit and was surprised to see the princess visit. "Princess Elizabeth!" (Victoria) shouted and couldn't help but giving her a big hug.
Elizabeth who looked like she didn't want the hug actually liked it and hugged back. When the Victoria let go she noticed Prince Liam and bowed graciously in his presence. "Your highness. It's nice for you to visit us unannounced." (Victoria)
"I wasn't expecting it either but I noticed my fiance here looked unhappy so I decided to visit the orphanage dragging her along. You know she acted like she didn't want to come but she was anxious the whole ride." (Prince Liam)
Victoria was touched about the prince's words. She looked over Elizabeth who was now beet red and was denying everything. "I did not! Take that back! I am from the family of royals, getting anxious about something like this is below me." (Princess Elizabeth) shouted as she crossed her hands and hung her head low.
"Aww... You were? Princess Elizabeth that's cute of you!" (Victoria) said as she opened the door even wider motioning for them to come in due to the heavy cold.
Elizabeth glared at Prince Liam and told him to shut up and die.
There she was again in the place she tried avoiding for as long as she can but turns out this already was like a second home to her. "Come on now your highness and princess. Would you like to play with the other kids?" (Victoria) asked the two of them. Elizabeth had no problems getting along with the other kids.
However, she looked over to the prince because she wasn't sure if he would mind playing with commoners... but then again he did say he visited the place once and have gotten along with one of them... "I would love to Victoria. Is Althea there?"
"If it isn't prince of something. Missed me already?" It was Althea's voice. She came out of the room in tow with the other small kids behind her. "Oh! Princess! How come you didn't visit me I missed you!" (Althea) tried approaching Elizabeth but failed when Prince Liam came in between.
"Dearest friend, I didn't miss you for one bit."
"?!" (Princess Elizabeth)
'What the heck these guys are already acquainted with each other?! But these two look like they have nothing in common?!'
Althea's face suddenly darkened and broadened as she approached the prince up close to his face, "Listen here royalty brat. I'm not a friend I'm you're RIVAL! Remember that you prickly piece of-!"
*Smacks*
Before she can even continue, Victoria, of course, had to smack her head so hard that a small ball of pain in her head came out. "Ow, what the heck?"
"Language young lady." (Victoria) said as she grabbed her collar and dragged her into the punishment room. Mostly just to stand up with books in her head for her to balance. "NO! VICTORIA COME ON!"
Prince Liam and Princess Elizabeth stood there letting it all unfold. "You know she really is interesting. To have the nerve to insult me is fascinating! Isn't it so?" (Prince Liam)
Elizabeth couldn't answer much at the moment because her face looked like she's seen more shit than this but she could only nod.
The whole day the three were like glue to each other.
"Hey~ Princess feed me-" (Althea) said as she tried pursuing our heroine.
"Back off she's my fiance." (Prince Liam)
"DO I LOOK LIKE I CARE YOU DIPSHIT!" (Althea)
"YOUR WORDS ARE AS VULGAR AS YOU LOOK!" (Prince Liam)
"WELL UH WELL- YOU LOOK STUPID WITH THOSE POINTY SHOES IT LOOKS LIKE IT CAN STAB SOMEONE!" (Altlea)
"Anyone please help me..." (Elizabeth) said as she suffered from the annoying presence of these two as Althea sat from her right and Prince Liam on her left.
"YOU WANNA GO YOU ROYAL SCRUB?"
"WHAT DID YOU SAY, YOU PEASANT!"
"If you two don't sit and eat. I won't hesitate. To freeze both of you the whole lunch. You better sit your buttoms down or I will do it." (Elizabeth) said as she started to remove the magic weakener from her hands and small ice particles we're coming out of it. Her gaze the both of them made the two gulp because... they swear her eyes changed into red color for a second.
Both of them sat down quietly, and just murmured insults quietly.
"Runny mouth..."
"Spoiled royal..."
Victoria placed a tray of brownies in front of them.
"I can hear both of you shut up and let me eat my brownies in peace." (Princess Elizabeth)
"Y-Yes ma'am."
"Yes princess~"
"I swear, Victoria you're the only sensible person out here." (Elizabeth) complimented her former maid as she chowed down her brownies.
"U-Um... Thank you?" (Victoria) said as she looked confused but enjoyed the princess' eating face in the end.
They all eat happily and went home.

"Master... Are we there yet?" (???) asked her master as she secretly wished their joyride would never end. She liked holding her master's abs so yeah.
"Not yet Celestia. I promise it'll be soon." (???) reassured her companion on the horse. "Good girl diamond, I'll get you apples when we get into town."
Her horse neighed happily because she understood the words apples. "You know~, master, I don't get how you decided to ride your horse when you can literally fly and I can transform into a weapon... so I won't be a heavy baggage when you carry me."
"Well, I miss riding my steed. So why not?"
The master smiled as she brushed the hair of her horse. Diamond, still feeling happy licked her hand and kissed her owner. "Hmph. Lucky horse..." (Celestia) complained as she lightly kicked the horse's thighs. Don't worry it didn't hurt or something.
"Let's go find this country's princess. I owe that goddess a lot and I need to repay her as fast as I can. Let's go. Hyah!"
