The Saw-Teeth Lake Crocodile looked at Ricky warily. Its instincts told him that the kid he was fighting was dangerous, too dangerous. Before, he was belittling the kid after he saw the opponents size and stature; he was practically ten times bigger than the kid!
In most beast mind, specially those who follow their instincts, the bigger the size of the of the creature, the more powerful they are.
Size determines power!
The Saw-Teeth Lake Crocodile couldn't help but shudder when he remembered a two figures of small but powerful than him creatures of this lake.
When the registered in his mind that he was shuddering as he was afraid, he felt humiliated. Those two palm size creatures was his greatest nightmare and humiliation and to think that this human before him have to make it resurface... He was angry!
Grooaar!
Hearing the angry sound of the beast, the focused Ricky focus more. Even the spectators behind him got tense.
The Saw-Teeth Lake Crocodile propelled himself to the lake's bottom and when he arrived at the bottom of the lake, he propelled himself to the max to the surface and the force actually brought him to the air, he was now floating in the air!
Seeing the Saw-Teeth Lake Crocodile up in the air, Nick, Ken and Ben had their mouth agape in disbelief. Such a big beast and it could make itself float in the air... Isn't this a little absurd?
Cole just look at the situation calmly and chant, "Protect." The Summoning Grimoire glow for a second inside Ricky's robe and create a invisible protecting bubble enveloping the kid.
And Ricky was unaware of this.
Seeing the Saw-Teeth Lake Crocodile above him, Ricky panick for a second and chant, "Martial Spirit Unleash!" and a almost illusionary snake-like creature appear above Ricky's head.
The Saw-Teeth Lake Crocodile saw the vague outline of snake appear but brush it off aside as he don't felt a threat from it.
After three seconds in the air, the gravity finally pull him down. He was slow at first but got faster and faster and it's trajectory was Ricky! The Saw-Teeth Lake Crocodile open his wide, full of saw like teeth, mouth and ready to swallow Ricky!
The beast move was predicted by Ricky and so before the Saw-Teeth Lake Crocodile started to get down, he already chanted, "Water Dragon Martial Spirit, Abyss Turtle Shell Defense!"
The calm surface started to churn and floated in the air and created a turtle shell made out of water that envelopes and protect him.
Seeing the water that envelopes the kid, a disdain gleamed at the eyes of the Saw-Teeth Lake Crocodile. He was living his full life in water and know how soft the liquid are, yet, the human used it like a shield? Pathetic!
When the beast was near the water shell, he snap his mouth full power.
Clang!
However, an inconceivable thing happen! His bite was truly blocked by the water shell! His teeth doesn't even felt a drop of water when he bit the shell, it was like he bit a metal shell! And to think that his jaw could tear a metal as if it was mud, he was greatly humiliated!
He was about to let go his bite when he saw a thing that scared him shitless.
Seeing the beast blocked by him, Ricky felt his confidence soared to the sky. He didn't want to give the beast a time to breath and so he quickly chanted, "Water Dragon Martial Spirit, Sea Dragon's Roar!"
A dragon made of water appear!
The Saw-Teeth Lake Crocodile wanted to swim fast when he saw the dragon creature appear as he felt danger from it. Unfortunately for him, he was still in the air and he was nowhere to run. The Saw-Teeth Lake Crocodile just braced himself for the impact.
The water dragon put the Saw-Teeth Lake Crocodile in his mouth and started to descend to the lake's floor and slam the beast on the ground.
A mouthful of blood came out from his mouth and he felt a pain all over his body. The beast could even felt his organs shifted, if not shattered. The body of the beast float to the water surface. The beast wanted to run and hide but even opening his eyelids was a pure torture much less moved his whole body.
Ricky was gasping for air and felt weak as his Mana was almost drain but he felt happy. He defeated a stronger beast than himself without help from his big brother! He now started to love battle in the water.
Ricky relax after a minute and retract his martial spirit.
Cole and the others started to walk towards the lake and they were all full smile, especially Nick, Ken and Ben. Cole can't even smile as he was pondering what Ricky just used a while ago.
After a minute of rest and a little recovery, Ricky chanted, "Free Water Bending, Water Sword." And a sword made of water appear in front of him and will it to go near the beast and slash the creatures neck.
However, two glowing light appear and shield the Saw-Teeth Lake Crocodile and Water Sword waver and dissolve.
Ricky got tense. His mana was still in low level as he doesn't have the time to replenish it and he felt a little powerless now.
Just what is that creatures? It couldn't be his parents right?
Moments later, the blinding blue light vanish and a two mystical fish appear! The two fish were both color blue and were glowing mysticaly.
The two fish were in the front of the Saw-Teeth Lake Crocodile, protecting it.
Seeing the arrival of the two fish, Cole immediately runs towards where Ricky was. He arrived there almost immediately. The other three also follow but remain at the back.
Cole will and the Summoning Grimoire float out of Ricky's robe and suspended at Cole's front. He then chanted 'Protect' in his head and a invisible bubble enveloped his group.
Beside from Cole, the others couldn't see the bubble, however, the moment it appear, both the eyes of the mystical fish moved as if they could see the thing. Cole couldn't help but be more vigilant at the two fish as this were the first time someone could see the protecting bubble of Protect.

"What do you want?" Cole ask after sometime.
The two mystical fish didn't answer and just continue to swim in the air as if they were in the water, while the other three at the back look at him strangely.
Talking to the beast were unheard of as at this level, they were mostly instinctual. They were yet to see a beast talking with human tounge, much less a talking fish.
Cole felt the strange look but he didn't give it a mind at all. Due to his Myriads Beast Soul Branch Technique, his spiritual force were strong, making his perception sharp. Besides, he knew that their horizon wasn't that broad and was yet to see a beast at this level communicating through speech of human. Elemental creatures were rare while high ranking beast weren't in this part of the world where energy of Heaven and Earth were minimal. He knew they didn't encounter this creatures yet.
Not like him.
Also, like not him, he knew that Elementals where intelligent creatures. Especially those who lived for more than a hundred years.
Elemental creature weren't a creatures of flesh, infact, they don't have a flesh. Their whole body were made of pure mana or pure essence of Heaven and Earth. Because of this, they could live for hundreds, if not thousands, of years. They could even be called immortal creatures. As long as the mana in their body didn't run out, they could live as long as they can and strengthen themselves in the process.
And another thing, Elemental creatures have a strong spiritual force, giving them the ability to have the intelligence like of humans.
This two fish may look like a normal fish, however, who knows how long were this two creatures lives. He bet that this creature also didn't know that as Elementals didn't have a sense of time like humans.
"This one is our subordinate..." said of a voice of a male. "...spare him." finished of a voice of a female.
The three man at the back had their mouth wide open in shock. This was the first time they saw or encounter a talking fish. This were an eye-opener experience for them.
Even Ricky's face had a shocked expression. He knew the existence of Elementals since Bell, the Flower Bell Fairy, were one of them. However, it was still acceptable to him as Bell may look tiny, she still look like a human. But this two were fish.
Fish!
Back at his village, fish were nothing but food for them and it definitely didn't talk.
"Elemental creatures." Nick managed to mutter after sometime as if he realized something.
"Elemental creatures?" Ben ask.
Nick nodded his head. "Yes, Elemental creatures. They were entities made of pure mana and spiritual powers and were known for their high intelligence." He answered. "They were rare in Red Tree Kingdom as the energy of Heaven and Earth were so thin that giving birth to them were already a miracle itself. And the moment they were spotted and caught, they'll be sold at a very high price that even our Carmelo Clan couldn't afford."
"Then that two fish are practically a floating treasure?" Ken exclaimed with his over enthusiastic voice.
Bam!
"Should Ricky attack and we'll be helpless, yet, the two creatures dissolved his attack effortless!" Ken angrily said after he whack Ben's head. "As what Nick said awhile ago, Elemental creatures were highly intelligent entities. Should you say that in other circumstances and you'll definitely get killed!" He reprimanded.
Ken didn't reply as he knew he said something he shouldn't have. This kind of thoughts shouldn't be said loudly and should only be kept to oneself. He knew he did wrong. What he said were like saying he'll demote a noble family to slavery out of nowhere. It wasn't pleasant to someone's hearing. And should this statement were said to him instead, he'll also definitely go angry too, if not berserk.
Ken just rub his aching head for comfort and look at Ben strangely. Ben who were a timid person like rabbit seems to transform like a lion just a moment ago.
He'll try to train his big, blabbermouth to have, at the least, a filter.
