The sky is getting darker with the moon getting higher in the sky. Currently in the Kocho's family house, 2 families are currently preparing themselves for tonight's event.
(Y/N) right now is putting up a pair of clothes which as usual consisted of a black shirt with the Uchiha clan symbol on the back with a tan pants. He just like to wear thing simple.
After finishing up, he went out from his room to the living room. When he opened up the door, he only saw his father, Sasuke with uncle Akio chatting with each other.
It's look like only the males were ready while the females in the house is still taking their time finishing up on preparing themselves.
(Y/N) saw that his father is also wearing simple clothes. Sasuke only wears a black high-collared shirt with light blue pants. Uncle Akio on other hand just wear a yukata.
(Y/N) entered the room and just sit near both of Sasuke and Akio. Now all they have to do is just wait for the others.
After 15 minutes later, the others finally finished up and entered the living room. (Y/N) just observed silently what they are wearing for the festival.
His mother, Akame is currently wearing a cloak with high collar consisted with red clouds decorated around the cloak. She also only zipped it in half revealing a dark blue shirt underneath it. She wear a stirrup pants that tappers at the ankle and worn under the arch of the foot to hold the pant leg in place.
Next to her are the Kocho's which is Sanae with Kanae and Shinobu. Just like Akio, they also wears Yukata.
While Akio just wear a plain Yukata, Sanae with their daughters wears a different pattern type of yukata.
Sanae wears a red coloured yukata with white polka dot patterns. Kanae wears pink with flowers patterns while Shinobu wears yellow with leaves pattern.
"Wow, you all look nice and gorgeous. No wonder it took a long time for all of you to finish preparing yourself." complimented Akio.
"Thank you dear, you look good as well. Even though you just wear a plain yukata, it still look neat on you." replied Sanae.
Sanae then looked at both Sasuke and (Y/N) on what they wearing, "jeez, you two are definitely father and son after all huh. You both have the same styles with the way you wear things."
Akame giggled hearing Sanae commenting on both of her husband and son wears. (Y/N) behaviors were indeed similar with Sasuke.
Akame was also relieved that her son didn't take over Sasuke's personality when Sasuke was young.
She remember clearly how Sasuke used to brood when he was young.
But that was a long time ago. Now Sasuke has becomes wiser and mature, as well as genuinely warmer and caring, though his tendency to appear deadpan remains.
Akio then cut in, "Now, now, enough of chit-chat. Let's just continue talking while we are walking to the festival later". All of them understood what Akio was saying.
Then they all prepare themselves, taking their footwear and walk to the front gate. Akio then opened up the gate and all of them went out. Akio closed the gate with locks and they now began walking.
Even if it takes few minutes of walking to get to the town, all of them can already see the light shine in the skies from the light emitted at the town currently.
Now that all of them are walking, the adults start talking with each other. (Y/N) on other hand are walking beside Kanae and Shinobu also talking with them.
"The festival is soo fun (Y/N), there's a lot stuff we can do. Every year before, Shinobu and I always play the carnival games that been held during the festival." Kanae told (Y/N).
Shinobu suddenly pouted, "I hate playing those games, I never won anything when playing those games."
"But isn't it fun Shinobu hehe~" Kanae happily said to his sister. "Fun? I don't know how you can still enjoy playing those games. You didn't even win anything when playing those games last time." whined Shinobu.
"Well maybe this year will be different because (Y/N) will be joining us. Maybe he can try himself." Kanae cheerfully said to both of them.
"I don't know, I'm probably bad at playing these games both of you are talking about since I never played them. But I'm looking forward to the food they sell." (Y/N) said dreamily.
After few more minutes of walking, they finally arrived. The streets are crowded and filled with many types of shops and vendors. The roofs are full of beautiful lanterns.
(Y/N) feel mesmerised watching the view of the streets. It's soo lively with people enjoying the festival with each other. (Y/N) is also eyeing the stalls who are selling foods. He can't wait to try them.
Suddenly Sanae spoke up towards the children, "listen up you three, I want the three of you to stay close to us or each other. We don't want anyone to be separated okay." reminded Sanae.
"She's right you know. Also don't go to the alleys. We don't know what kind of things are behind those alleys" said Akame also reminding them.
(Y/N) with Kanae and Shinobu just nodded understandably. "good, now let's have some fun together." Sanae said to them in excitement.
The children also feeling excited began exploring the festival. Right now, the streets are very crowded soo they decide to split into two groups right now.
One group is consisted with all the male which is (Y/N) with his father, Sasuke and Akio. Soo the other group is consisted with Akame, Sanae with Kanae and Shinobu.
Right now, (Y/N) is currently eyeing the stalls that sells food. His mouth starts to drool a little. There are many types of food, some of them are sushi, takoyaki. There also the one who sells sweets like dango and mochi.
With all this food, he just can't choose right now. Akio snickered a bit while Sasuke just smiled watching (Y/N)'s reaction.
(Y/N) then asked Akio for an opinion, "hey uncle Akio, I know you have been joining this festival many times, do you have any suggestion on what food should i try?"
Akio began thinking a few seconds before answering (Y/N), "I know, why not you try those takoyaki. It's very delicious. There's also many types of fillings you can choose like octopus and tempura."
(Y/N) can't resist the urge when he hear Akio telling him about takoyaki. He then asked his father, "father can I have those takoyaki, I promise I'll never ask you for anything else tonight."
Sasuke smiled warmly and nodded, he's about to take out some money before being stopped by Akio, "Wait Sasuke, let me give him the money"
"You don't have to Akio, it's okay. I'll give him the money." said Sasuke. "No, no, I insist, here (Y/N) takes these money and go buy whatever type you wanted" replied Akio before giving (Y/N) money.
(Y/N) shows his gratitude and says thank you before going to the stalls to queue and order some takoyaki that he wanted.
Sasuke then said to Akio while watching (Y/N), "you know, you didn't have to do that Akio." Akio just smiled hearing Sasuke and replied, "It's okay Sasuke, I'm actually quite fond of your son. You and Akame raise him very well. Let him has his fun tonight."
Sasuke also smiled hearing this. Then both of them just silently wait before (Y/N) return with a plate of takoyaki in his hand.
Both of them are quite surprised seeing how much (Y/N) bought. (Y/N) then lend the money change back to Akio but Akio just said its fine and let (Y/N) keep the change.
Sasuke then asked his son, "hey (Y/N), I know that have a big appetite but are you sure you can finish that all?"
(Y/N) then replied to his father with a big smile on his face, "I'm pretty sure I can father, you know me. But that's not the main reason I bought it many."
(Y/N) then showed his other hand which has three short sticks. He then take one before offering the other two towards his father and uncle Akio.
"Let's eat together". Sasuke and Akio smiled in warmth towards (Y/N). He's truly a kind boy. Akio see that (Y/N) truly give consideration about others.
Sasuke and Akio then take the sticks before taking the takoyaki and both of them just take one each and let (Y/N) have the rest by himself.
Sasuke then suggested towards his son and Akio to find the others and reunite with them. They all agreed and began to search before finding the others in one of the stalls which sell souvenirs and gifts.
Sanae then saw them and called them, "You three come here and look, we found something nice here." all of them then went to the stall......
