Amber's POV>>
||At School||
After Jack dropped me off and went to get a parking spot I started walking to the school doors. Something I dreaded.
Yes, it is just a simple movement to walk to a double door and open it. But it's so hard, our school isn't huge, which equals groups. Major groups. There's your typical group of sluts, the druggies, the football players, the cheerleaders, the nerds, the nothings. I guess I fall into the nothings.
Jack, his friend Sammy, and his other friend Jack Johnson, sit with the football boys. My brother has a girlfriend, who is extremely sweet, her names Clair, Sammy doesn't have a girlfriend, he says he doesn't have time, but he's hooked up with almost every girl, myself not included, and Johnson, well, he doesn't have one clue about who he likes, or loves, besides his mom!
One thing that nobody knows, is that I kind of, sort of, maybe, have a tiny-winy, little, barely even seen, crush on Johnson. It's so hard, him being almost my other brother, so we could never date..right?
I'm pulled out of my thoughts when I see Sam and Johnson wave me over to them.
Johnson looks so good, with his maroon "RVCA" sweatshirt on and khakis, his hair up in a quiff, he just looks so-
"Hey Amber!" Johnson says while engulfing me in a hug.
Sam then follows his lead and hugs me.
"Hey gurl!" Sam says in the most ghetto way possible. I just chuckle and shake my head.
"Amber I have a locker right next to yours!" Johnson says smiling.
"Great! Well, I have to go to my locker, I'll see you there?" I say to Jack.
He nods and smiles, continuing to talk to Sam.
As of now, I just have to put my backpack in my locker and my lunchbox on a locker hook. Since it's the first day, I only have a pencil and a notebook, to write the materials I need for the next day. After unloading my bag and getting sorted, I grab my notebook and pencil, along with checking my schedule.
My first class is Algebra, I hope I know someone in this class.
Once I get to class I choose my seat for the day. I choose the back row so I'm not noticed much. I don't like to be for everyone to see.
Five minutes later and I don't know anyone in this class. The bell is about to ring and I'm honestly scared. Never does anyone want to go through a class without knowing someone, sure, I know people, but they necessarily don't know me.
Right before the bell rings I'm about the throw up when I see who walks in the class.
It's Jack Johnson.
I knew it would be hard to like him, and I wanted to stay away from him, this is not going to work.
He sees me and smiles, walking my way.
"Amber! I thought I wouldn't have anyone in this class." He laughs.
I try my best to force a smile and fake a laugh.
I see him grab something and compare it to a sheet, my schedule.
"We have everything together!" He exclaims.
I force a smile yet again.
"You're taking French? You seem like a Spanish kind of guy." I say to him.
He just laughs.
This is going to be a rough year.
