Your POV
I sat at one of the benches inside the park in silence on a Sunday morning, sipping the beverage I bought from a store I went to earlier:
"Hi Y/N!" I looked over and see my best friend, Mark, walking towards me
I smiled, a warm feeling erupting from my chest. Did I ever told you that I liked Mark? Literally every single thing you'd want from a guy is in him. He got the looks, his personality is awesome, his heart is made of pure gold, and is talented as heck. Who wouldn't want him?
The mentioned guy then sat beside me as I turned my attention to him:
"So, what's up?" I asked
"Well, you see, there's this girl that I've been liking for the past few years now. And I kinda want to ask you for advice" He explained, and my smile immediately altered
That was such a great way to break my heart, wasn't it?:
"Describe her for me" I replied, and his smile widened even more. If that was possible
"She's gorgeous, kind, loving, caring. You know, the traits every guy would want in their future girlfriends? All of that is in her! She's appreciative, she accepts anything, even the smallest of things. She's just the most extraordinary person I've ever met" Mark states, and somehow, I felt envious of the girl
She did a pretty good job in getting Mark. They would be such a perfect couple. There was no way I'm stopping him because of some selfish reason. He's happy with her. And I don't want to get in the way.
I smiled at him and placed a hand on his shoulder:
"Well then, start off with small yet sweet gestures. Like, give her cards, her favorites; or try impressing her! Maybe write a song for her, or something. You know what I mean!" I rambled as he slwoly nodded, seemingly understanding what I just said
"Thanks Y/N! You're the best! Good luck with your work later!" He says and gave me a side hug, before standing up and leaving
I once again sipped the drink before throwing it in the trash can, making my way to my workplace. I took my headphones and plugged it in my phone, playing upbeat music as I walked through the busy streets.
As soon as I saw the name of the shop, I then entered:
"Y/N! You're here!" Jaemin smiles as I smiled back at him
"Hey Y/N!" The rest of the staffs -who were cleaning and fixing the tables and chairs- greeted as I nod in acknowledgement
"Yup! So, we're opening in a few minutes! Where's Taeyong?" I asked, the mentioned boy popping out of nowhere
"Over here! What do you need me for dear manager?" He replies, sheepishly smiling as he looked at me
"Have you prepared our menus of the day now? The pastries, sandwiches, etcetera?" I asked as he nodded his head
"We did it earlier. So you're all good" Taeyong said and I smiled, humming in approvement
"Okay, we're set up then!" I said, looking at my watch
"Let's open up the cafe, guys!"
~10 Hours Later~
Author's POV
"We did a great job today everyone! No conflict occurred and we sold every food today! Congratulations and thank you for working hard!" You said and applauded
"Well if it wasn't for you, this very shop wouldn't work like this" Jeno, one of the workers, pointed out as everyone agreed
Your heart felt warm at the sudden compliment, you then smiled:
"Thank you! All of you are free to go home now! Be safe and take care" You announced
All of you then went through your separate ways afterwards. With you, going last as it was your turn to lock the store up. Once you were done, you plugged your earphones in and began walking home, listening to music.
Once you've reached the front of your house, you immediately halt to a stop. Walking over, you see a bouquet- no, a basket filled with sweets greeted you by the front door. You crouched down, seeing as though every piece of sweet was your favorite.
Looking carefully, you then see a card. You took it, flipped it open, and began to read its contents:
Hey Y/N,
Just wanted to drop this by♡
Hope you enjoy it!
I'm not really good at writing letters so that's only what I could write for you.
Awe man I suck at this!
Anyways, have a great day!

You laughed at the card and placed it back to where it belong. You grabbed the basket, unlocked your front door, went inside, closed the door, and went straight to the kitchen to place it down. After that, you went upstairs to get changed, and make dinner later on.
~1 Week Later~
The same thing happened. You went to work, went home, and is greeted by different kinds of stuffs; may it be food, the things you like, and many much more. And of course you wouldn't forget about their letters, which always made you laugh.
Dear Y/N (come on i can't with you rn),
I bought some books for you! I knew you loved reading so I tried my hardest to pick the best books with the best plots ever! Hope you enjoy reading them!
And also, I'm planning on meeting you one day. But I discarded that thought. You know me anyways. Haha that's a spoiler right there!
Okay I need to stop giving further info. Bye!

How's the cafe going? Haven't went there in awhile. I had a lot of things to do so I didn't have the time to stop by and order my usual.

Since it was the weekends, you've decided to ask Mark to come over, since you didn't see each other for the whole week as well. And as soon as you heard the doorbell ringing, you knew that he was there.
Opening the door, Mark smiled at you as he closed it, both of you walking towards the living room:
"So, how was work?" He asked as you shrugged, the two of you sitting down on the couch
"It's been getting better than usual. We've been getting loads of tips which were good" You replied as he nodded
Mark then looks over and noticed a basket placed on top of your kitchen table:
"What's that?" He asked, curiously pointing at it
"Oh! It's from a 'secret admirer' of mine. They've been giving it to me for the past few days. Everything I need, they put it by my front door as soon as I got back from work" You smiled unknowingly
"Well, they seem like a nice person. Can't wait to meet them!" He said as you nodded in agreement
"Yeah. Anyways, how's your girl doing?" And it was your turn to ask, though you couldn't help but still feel something stinging your poor heart
"Well, she's been doing fine. She seem happy with it so I'm glad" He explains and you hummed in response
You took the remote and opened the television. Switching it to Netflix (Cuz why not), you then clicked the newest episode of yours and Mark's favorite show. Grabbing some snacks, your bonding session have begun.
~1 Hour Later~
"What the heck? Really?!" You gasped at the sudden news
"Yup, I'm going to release my first solo album. I'm even glad the management agreed to do it" He said, smiling
"That's really awesome! I could only wish you the best, though" You said and Mark nodded understandingly
"Don't worry, you supporting me is truly enough" He replied
"By the way, what's your favorite flowers again?" Mark suddenly asks
"Y/F/F" You then answer as he nodded at the response
Both of you sat there in a comfortable silence. Neither of you talked as you continued watching a movie. You sat there, head laying onto Mark's shoulder as his head was laying on top of yours. It may seem like an ordinary gesture for him, or for others.
But to you, it was one of the best moments ever.
~The Next Day~
You were once again done with work, walking your way to your house as you listened to some music using your earphones. Just same old, same old stuff you do every single day.
As you expected, there was a letter plastered upon the surface of your front door. But you also got a bit suspicious, as there were no baskets or gifts whatsoever.
You opened the piece of paper and again you began to read its contents:
Hi hi Y/N!
I guess this is going to be my last letter for you as I will finally introduce myself to you.
It was great seeing you smile and enjoy the little things I've given you ♡
See you in the living room aha!

Raising an eyebrow, you then opened the door. You removed your shoes, placed your bag down, and went straight to the living room. As soon as you got there, though, your heart began beating rapidly.
There, your best friend stood. Holding a bouquet of Y/F/F:
"All this time. It was you?" You asked, still not believing the situation
"I mean, wasn't it obvious?" Mark answered, laughing a bit
He came closer and gave you the bouquet, to which you took and observe, smiling at its beauty:
"I guess you probably know by now that I really, really like you. You're the most beautiful girl with the most extraordinary personality ever. You're funny, kind, and just someone whom I'm dedicated to spend my life with. I wish to get married to you, have kids with you and grow old with you" He says with pure sincerity, words so promising that it just made your heart flutter
"Honestly. I like you too. You've been there for me through my rough times. Even though, you had your awkward and weird moments sometimes, I still get to say that 'He's dreamy', 'I like him so much'. Being with you forever was a dream to me. And I thank you for making it come true" You answered, hugging him
"You really did a great job, hadn't you?" You asked, voice muffled yet still audible to Mark's ears
"Just following your advice" He smiles, arms wrapping around your waist as he hugged you back
Guess all this time your secret admirer was Mark Lee ;)
