The Short of Today:
Robin yawns as she could not sleep, her body however ached for sleep as she moped and walked around groaning tiredly.
Al-an noticed Robin's actions and went over to inspect her for any damages to her body. "Your status." Al-an asked softly as he looked over at his familiar close friend.
"Al-an I'm fi--" Robin stops midsentence as she lets out a yawn, she was extremely tired but had to study the new routes she made to the Lost Civilization.
"You sound weary, as you usually yawn when in need of your form of Hibernation." Al-an slid his arms around her picking her up confident in his observation.
"What--Al. Don't worry about me." Robin softly would play with the horns of her alien friend.
Al-an shook his head. "Cross. Robin is not resting and it's vital for her" Al-an looks over at the other room.
Cross walks in. "Alright guess It's up to the Precusor team to make her sleep. Can't have a friend not sleeping." He gently pats Robin's head.
"What should I do? You have more data on the amatomy of a human." Al-an looks at Cross making a soft chirp.
"We can hit her in the back there is a pressure point that makes them sleep--" Cross said after thinking hard.
"NO! no. Violence. Towards. Robin." Al-an hissed at Cross not too harshly but just warning him not to hurt Robin.
"Right-well there is always trying to get her to sleep. I'll get the bed. And the PDA." Cross walks off.
"Guys I really am Fine you two don't have to baby me." Robin says as she was trying to push Al-an's arm away from patting her trying to make her sleep.
"Nonsense. It is vital for your regular resting at the end of the day and when you are tired." Al-an nuzzles Robin's head as he makes a soft chitter.
"I got the bed!" Cross runs in with the bed.
"And the small data device?" Al-an flickers to a purple color curiously looking at Cross.
"Yeah Uh-Couldn't find it." Cross sighs. "Just going to have to try and get her to sleep by SINGING a lullaby."
"Singing? You mean comforting? Like our Caretakers use to do?" Al-an looks down at Robin.
"No thats uh--Similar but human comforting is a different form of it as well as Singing is vocal." XCross informs his Precursor friend.
Al-an nods. "You can try singing then."
"Ahem--Close your eyes shut your mouth-dream a dream, before I knock you out--" Cross starts singing.
"That leaves the appearance of you being hostile." Alan sighs as he looks at Robin and sits down placing her on his back.
Robin softly looks up at Al yawning, Al-an soon came up with an idea, he knew how his caretakers did it as well.
Al-an softly leans close to her forehead making soft chirps and chitters, Robin and Al-an's mind intertwining as they shared thoughts, he showing her the beauty of vast space and the feeling of soft breezes as well as the sound of tranquility.
Robin blushes as she closed her eyes fully, slowly falling asleep as Al-an and her were close.
Cross growls and hisses to himself. "Show off. You're just hitting on her now when you could have just mind controlled her." Cross walks off rambling about the stupidity of love and how it makes people and Precursors stupid.
