Stacy's POV
"Zayn?!" I asked, running to where he stood motionless. When I moved closer, I realized that it wasn't Zayn, it was Louis who was wearing Zayn's jacket.
"Babe, I switched bodies with Louis. I didn't know how it happened, but it did." He said. I didn't know if he was joking, but something told me he wasn't.
"Zayn?" I said as I hugged him. I moved my face closer to his, close enough to make him feel that I was going to kiss him. I wanted to know if this really was him.
I put my arm around his neck and moved my face closer and I could smell the smoke in his breath.
Definitely Louis. Now I just have to see how far he's gonna take this.
As soon as I was about to kiss him, he moved his head back.
"You know what? I can't do this." Louis said.
"I wasn't gonna let you do it, anyway!" Zayn said while appearing out of nowhere, holding out two tuxedos, one in each hand. The next thing I know, Louis was nowhere to be found.
"Were you really going to kiss him?" He asked.
I shook my head. "I just wanted to see if he was going to kiss me and face the consequences. Think your friend's gay. You sure he's not hiding a boyfriend behind your back?" He laughed at my sense of humor.
"I'm having a hard time choosing, can you help me?" He asked. As soon as he said that, I wrapped my arms around his waist with my tears flowing non-stop, remembering the reason why I was here in the first place.
"You made me so worried! I thought something happened to you! All for this stupid homecoming proposal! Is this how you're going to ask me?" I said while looking at him, hands on both sides of his face.
"I knew you were gonna say that." As soon as he said that, he ran into the darkness.
What the hell is happening?
"Zayn?" I said again. I was getting scared, I couldn't see anything, everything was dark.
"Baby." I heard him say, but I still couldn't see him.
Going out tonight, changes into something red
Her mother doesn't like that kind of dress
Everything she never had
She's showing off
Driving too fast, moon is breaking through her hair
She said it was something that she won't forget
Having no regrets is all that she really wants
I heard him singing with a band, but they're nowhere in sight. The music seems so near but I can't seem to move my feet towards it.
Suddenly, I heard a familiar voice.
Harry.
We're only getting older baby
And I've been thinking about you lately

Disappearing when you wake up
But there's nothing to be afraid of
Even when the night changes

"Seriously? You're making me live the High School Musical life!" I shouted at the darkness as I started walking and following the sound. I mean, it's not everyday that you experience having people singing around you with no reason at all but Zayn does it all the time.
And wait-- Harry's here?
Next to sing was Louis. Why am I not surprised?
Chasing her tonight, doubts are running 'round her head
He's waiting, hides behind his cigarette
Heart is beating loud, she doesn't want it to stop
Moving too fast, moon is lighting up her skin
She's falling, doesn't even know it yet
Having no regrets is all that she really wants
Zayn suddenly walks out from the darkness and the next thing I know, there were lights. Thousands of twinkling white fairly lights illuminating the place. The trees at the far end were also covered with lights and some were falling down from the branches. It almost looked like they were falling straight from the sky.
"Constance Flynn, I want you to know that no matter how life is treating us, I will always try my best and treat you like my Princess. We've had a pretty bad night, but that doesn't mean we'll have a bad life together." Zayn said, approaching me with a box of pizza.
This boy, really.

It was only then that I realized that there were lots of people behind him. People from school, people from the neighborhood, and people I don't even recognize. I normally would be shy, but this time, it didn't matter. He was in front of me, looking at me like I was the only person here.
"Will you, so kindly, go to homecoming with me?" He says while getting down on one knee.
"I think you should go with a bowtie." I said, referring to what he was going to wear. I nodded and kissed him, pulling him up from his position.
"Okay, so Louis told me that we're supposed to dance until the song finishes, so we have to like..sway?" He said. He's so cute when he's trying to be romantic.

Reminds her of the missing piece of innocence she lost
He sings along with the song. I've never really given much thought to how sweet his voice can be. He has the power to tell stories with the way he's singing.
My head was leaning on Zayn's chest when Harry caught my eye. I didn't know he sings well, too. I looked at him who was singing to Louis. I've never been so happy for letting go of someone. They were both so happy and I'm glad I found my happiness, too.

"Congratulations, love birds!" I heard Louis shout. I laughed at his choice of words. That was what we would call him and Harry. A pun for their matching tattoos.
"Thanks, Man." He said, giving Louis a man hug.
"Congratulations!" Harry said while kissing me on the cheek.
"Hey, don't get too close." Zayn said while patting Harry at the back. Never have I ever thought that this would ever happen. Him and Harry getting along.
"I wouldn't want that, either." Louis said.
"Hey, you were the one who almost kissed her earlier!" Harry said jokingly.
"Before you guys get into an argument, I think we should leave now." Zayn said while taking my hand.
I mouthed 'Thank you' to everyone in the band and everyone who came. They were shouting 'Congratulations!' like we just got married.
"Hey, are you sure we're supposed to be leaving them?" I asked Zayn.
"Some of them just came for the booze."
"What booze?"
"Louis invited people to come over if they wanted to witness a big surprise. Turns out more than half of the students from our grade heard about it, thinking it was going to be a big party. Before you came, they wouldn't stop talking and he got so pissed and told them that he would buy them pizza if they'd shut up. So they did. Most of them actually stayed to help, but some just really wanted to see me sing." He winked.
He led me to where his car was parked and saw that the door was unlocked.
"You didn't lock the door?" He told me.
"I was too worried to even think about some stupid car door. I'm sorry." I told him while he opened the passenger door for me.
"Uh yeah, about that. We just didn't know how to make you come here." He said as soon as he sat on the driver's seat.
"Louis made it sound sound so real."
"Yeah, before he became soccer captain, he was the drama club's best actor." He explained.
"Ahh, the jack of all trades."
"Exactly." He said as he drove away.
OOPS. I'm sorry for cutting the chapter here.
The next chapter's going to be...eventful.
I just wanted to update so people could get answers to their questions about what happened to Zayn.

ALSOOOO-- I've just deleted 1994. (I'm sorry!) I just couldn't find the motivation to go on with writing it anymore.
