" I cannot believe this! " I giggle gazing around the small room where I'll be spending the next year of my life.
" I know right, It's so hard to believe I finally made it to my dream school! " Luna sighs plopping onto the hard mattress.
Luna is my roommate, we met in a facebook group and after talking for 20 minutes we decided we would room together.
" I've been ready to be a Trojan since i was 12.... and I made it. " I cheer.
" Are you nervous about tomorrow? " she turns looking at me.
" A little bit but, not to toot my own horn, I'm kind of good at talking to people so I think as long as I try my hardest everything will be fine. "
" Gosh, I wish I was as naturally gifted with speaking as you. " she chuckles.
" Don't worry! You're a naturally like-able person so your going to find your perfect house!" I smile assuringly.
" God, we're going to besties I feel it already! " She smiles wrapping an arm around me.
" Yes we are!" I giggle.
Being at USC has always just been a distant dream for me. I always dreamt about one day being able to come here and get my psychology degree and I used to think that's all It was ever going to be, a dream, until I got my Acceptance letter, the large red words danced across the page " Congratulations, You have been admitted for the Fall 2020 semester! " and I screamed at the top of my lungs. Ever since then I have been counting the days until I moved in and the day was finally here. My mom and Dad just told me goodbye and it hurt more than I thought, I didn't always have the best relationship with my mom but she still seemed a little sad that I was leaving. However my dad couldn't bare to see me go. He was my hardest goodbye. I had to come a week early because I'm rushing, also known as doing sorority recruitment. I knew that I wanted to join a sorority for a long time now and when I told my mom it wouldn't be one of the traditional black founded sororities , she completely went off, like I said we didn't have a great relationship. She still is not happy about it but this is my life and I'm going to do what I want with it.
As the hours tick by Luna and I unpack and start decorating playing music lowly while playing 21 questions learning more about each other slowly but surely. She reminds me a lot of myself we have similar taste in music , which is liking everything which is why we are listening to Luke Bryan after NWA finished playing through the sound bar.
" Okay my turn , Any special someone in your life? " She speaks hanging up her string lights.
" Um no, I had a boyfriend back home in Ohio but he cheated on me all throughout the relationship so we broke up before I left to come here because he was cheating for like 3 years of the relationship. " I start to remember back to the memories I had long stored away of me and Andrew.
" You stayed even after he cheated? Why?" she ask.
" Um yeah, I guess it felt good to have someone love me, or at least make it feel like it. I was young too and by the time I realized what happened it was too late for me to leave. We started dating when I was in 8th grade and he was a sophomore at the school connected to ours. He used to take me around all his friends and show me off and they would all praise him like he was some hero for preying on a girl younger than him, he would make me dress in clothes that covered me up and always wear white when I was with him. I guess it was a purity thing for him. He tried several times to get me to give it up and I just wouldn't . I couldn't it didn't feel right." I explain.
" So you're still a virgin? "
" Yes. I'm not really fond of having sex with cheaters or being around any for that matter, But enough about me, what special boy do you have in your life? " I ask begining to start hanging my pictures to the wall.
"Well for starters, I like girls so no special boy - Holy crap! I'm so sorry Luna, I didn't mean to assume " I interrupt feeling terrible.
" Don't be! It's no big deal. " she giggles.
" Okay , any special gal in your life? "
" Not really , I like to what do people call .... hoe out! " she laughs.
I laugh turning to her " I wish I could bring myself to have a little fun sometimes! "
" Don't worry , I'll force you to go to all kinds of a parties with me! Plus next week is Silly Week!! " she cheers.
"What's that? "
" Well every year the first week of classes the teachers only give out syllabi so " she sings " people throw a party every night next week
" Oh god, let's make it through rush first and see how we do " I giggle.
"Yeah ,Yeah as my new best friend you're going !! "
A couple more hours pass of us talking and before you know it we're both laying in our bed staring at the ceilings.
" Hey Luna." I speak softly.
" hmm?"
" I can't wait to go through this year with you. "
She sits up smiling at me " I'm excited about being with you too. "
I smile back and we turn on our sides going to sleep.
4 days later
" BABE! Wake Up!! " Luna yells into my ear.
" I'm up , I'm up! " I groan.
" Guess what day it is.. " she smirks.
I slowly sit up from my bed " It's Bid Day Baby!!! "
She laughs going to sit at her desk to do her makeup. This week has been .. tiring to say the least. Going to almost 13 houses and talking to over 30 girls all week, it's a lot even for an extrovert like me but today is finally the day we've been working towards all week. I picked my top 2 last night and I pray I get the one I want. Luna decided to " suicide " , which what the Rho Gams call it , but it basically means she only picked one sorority and if they don't pick her back then she won't be in a sorority. I told her she had some big ass balls for doing that but she said she was one hundred percent sure about the house she wanted. We decided not to tell each other the houses so we wouldn't influence the others decision. We both begin getting dressed and I begin to walk to my closet looking for an outfit.
" What should I wear? " I sigh.
" I'm putting on shorts and just a regular shirt.I wouldn't put on anything too cute because I think we change shirts "
I scan my eyes over the closet before finding the jean shorts I packed that our frayed at the ends. Looking over I find a cropped red top that has the words " fight on! " in yellow lettering. Deciding that would be okay I quickly change clothes. Walking over to the small sink in our room I go to brush my teeth. After I finish dental hygiene , I put on deodorant and spray on warm vanilla sugar perfume before going to apply the lotion in that same scent. I begin to put in products to tame the beast on top of my head and brush it into a smooth ponytail in the back of my head, leaving a few of my curls to hang above my ears. I apply a little more gel to flatten out any fly away hair. I hear Luna shuffling behind me and i turn to look at her. She look simple but still cute which is kind of her thing , I guess. Her red hair falls down to the middle of her back in big curls along with her wearing acid washed jeans that have rips all over them and a white t-shirt that says " Fight till the end! " with the mascot underneath the words. She finished the look off with white and red converse and a bold red lip gloss.
" You look totally gorgeous! " I smile at her.
" Thanks y/n , so do you! " she giggles.
I hear a knock on the door and I walk to it swinging it open " It's Bid Day! " I hear with a few giggles followed after it.
Cherry, a new found friend Luna and I made with her being in our rush group , walk through the door in a red and white checkered skirt and a white tube top with a big red trojan in the middle. Her brown short hair is curled right underneath her ears and her natural long lashes are curled to the heavens. Some of the other girls we met also rush into the room greeting me and hugging as we all begin to sit waiting for Luna to finish her makeup. It's been a recurring event this week, waiting on Luna, she likes to look her best no matter what. Or that was the excuse she gave us anyways.
" Ready to go yet Ms.Prim and proper? " Cherry giggles.
" As ready as I can be. " Luna sighs.
The girls and I begin leaving meeting up with the other girls from our dorm building who are also rushing so we can all walk to the the stadium together.
2 hours have gone by and it's almost time to open the Bid. We've all filed into the stadium and there are over 2,000 girls sitting in here all holding yellow envelopes that hold are future houses. After we open the envelopes we immediately " run home " or meet up with the rest of the girls accepted into our house and we go to start partying with our new sisters. Everyone has gotten a bit fidgety watching the clock on the wall count down until we can open our bids. We've had Rho Gam reveal and I didn't expect any of them to belong to the houses they told us they were in. The clock read 10 seconds as everyone starts to get a little jumpy in their seats. Luna , Cherry and I are all sitting with the girl we came with for comfort reasons.
" 3... 2...1 " Everyone chants.
Before we get to one I'm fumbling to open my envelope and reveal my new home.
" OH MY GOD! " I hear Luna cheer from beside me but I open my envelope revealing my sorority.
" PI PHI! " I yell standing up.
" WE'RE SISTERS OH MY GOD ! " Cherry jumps reaching to hug me.
" DON"T FORGET ABOUT ME! " Luna laughs joining the hug.
We all grab our envelopes and begin to sprint towards where all the girls are standing. I feel the tears running down my face but they don't get to fall because of the wind of me running to find my brand new sister holding up my name decorated on wings. I spot Taylor with my sign, a tall blonde haired girl I was talking to on pref day.
" Taylor!! " I screech jumping into her arms.
" You got your wings!! " She cheers bouncing up and down with me.
Taylor and I talk, more like blubber considering we were both in tears, for about 15 minutes and she leads me into the house along with the rest of the new members and we all begin to get ready for the welcoming party that Pi Phi throws for the new members. Taylor was telling me about it and apparently we all take a shuttle to an Alumni's Mansion and she has a party set up for us to join.
" Here is your shirt.. and I'm done." She hands me a white and gold basketball jersey that has a baby pink angel on the front and my name in silver letters in the back before spinning me back towards the mirror showing me the new look she gave me.
There is glitter down the middle part of my hair which I'm sure I will regret later but it looks adorable now and she has a small arrow temporary tattoo on my cheek. I think this is the prettiest I've ever felt.
" Oh my god, thank you so much Tay! " I smile brightly in the mirror.
" Hey, It's was sisters do baby. " She wraps her arms around me.
" I haven't felt this pretty since I - " a bad memory flashing through my head causing me to get quiet.
" Hey! Hey! You are gorgeous! Don't think about that. " Somehow she remembers that I'm referring to the event we talked about on the last day of Rush. We cried together, which is when i knew this was the house for me. " You are going to have the guys of USC at your feet, begging to take you out. " She smiles showing her perfect teeth off.
" Thank you. " I whisper with my eyes suddenly becoming glossy.
" No crying! I worked hard on those falsies! " she giggles giving me another tight hug.
" Bus is here girls!! " A tall girl with red hair cheers, Beverly, I believe is her name and we all begin to pour out of the house and onto the bus.
The bus ride was filled with all of us singing together as Taylor played throwbacks off her phone. Before I realize we arrive at our destination and begin to get off the bus. I take a large gasp looking at the house we are walking into and it's beautiful to say the least. It's white and gold decorated with mostly glass window panels and all kinds of banners hung around. walking in you are met with a table with sunglasses and feather boas , all different shades of pink. Next to that is a table filled with all kinds of snacks and a large container containing juice.
" God this is beautiful! " I laugh turning to Taylor.
" Yes, Mrs.Powers takes care of us every year." she laughs.
Before I can even blink it's been 2 hours and my new sisters and I are dancing around and singing like little girls at sleepovers. We've all been taking pictures to post on instagram later. I can safely say that I feel right at home with them. Scanning around the room to look for Luna since I haven't seen her since we got to the Pi Phi house, I spot Taylor barreling towards me with the widest smile on her face.
" HI! Come with me, I have someone I want you to meet! " she claps like an excited three year old.
I begin to laugh at her as she pulls me up the stairs of the mansion and down a long hallway. She continues pulling me before we enter a room decorated in all black. Everything in here is dark. The walls are painted a dark maroon color , the King sized bed is covered in a black covert and a furry black duvet. It also smells heavenly in here, like oakwood and mint coming together. So... Manly. Which would explain the darkness of the room.
" Babe!! " Taylor screams still bouncing causing a giggle to rise out of my body.
" Coming! " I hear a deep voice call out but I have no idea where it came from.
I still look around the room with Taylor by my side until I spot a tall figure come from a doorway from deeper in the room. When he fully comes into view I can see the figure and god is it a sexy one. A tall, scratch that, very tall, caramel boy walks towards us as Taylor starts to bounce more. Jesus Christ does that girl get tired? He seems to have short hair, waves I'm assuming by the black durag he has laying on top of his head. He wearing a red Nike hoodie with the hood on top of his head with grey Nike sweatpants, and well, let's not even go there, alright? He has a gold chain dangling out of the hoodie that moves forward with the long steps he's taking towards us.
" Wassup?" he greets nodding his head at Taylor.
" Baby, this is my rush crush , baby bear, pookie pie, fave pnm y/n - " I giggle at all the nicknames " and y/n this is my boyfriend Keith Powers. " She sighs saying his name.
Boyfriend?
" Oh, this is your mom's house? " I ask.
" Yeah, one of them , at least. " He chuckles.
" It's really nice! " I smile.
He looks at me with a slight smirk on his face " Preciate' it. "
" Okay wait, I have to use the bathroom but I'll be right back!! "Taylor laughed walking to the the door Keith came out of.
I hear the door shut and lock as I begin to look around the room fiddling with my fingers.
" So y/n , how old are you? " Keith asks.
" 18. I'm a freshman.How about you? " I answer quickly.
This feels really weird especially with Taylor not here.
He nods stepping closer to me " 21. What's your major? "
" Psychology, I wanna be a child psychologist. What about yours? "
" Anatomy, I wanna be a gynecologist. " he chuckles still stepping closer.
I look up at him , only at this moment realizing how close we are standing.
" Oh, So you know a lot about the body. " I speak weakly.
With him being this close, I can now say that the smell of Oakwood and Mint was most definitely his cologne.
He lets his tongue out of his mouth to wet his lips causing my eyes to travel down to them as he lets out a throaty chuckle"You could say that, I'm pretty good with my fingers. "
" I-I uh - " he wraps his arms around my waist as I lose my sense of speech.
He backs my body against his door and I gasp staring into his brown eyes.
I feel like I'm completely wrapped up in him. I've never been left speechless but he so over powering and .... in charge? Dominant, is that the word I'm looking for?
" Y-You're house is beautiful. " I look down at my feet hoping to detach myself from the situation.
He places a finger under my chin lifting my head " So are you. "
" T-thank you. "
Keith lowers his head to where my ear is and a shiver travels down my spine feeling his breath this close to me,
" Do you have a boyfriend y/n? " he whispers.
I start shaking my head, not being able to form a sentence. Something about this feels so wrong but my head is so fogged up I can't pin point exactly what it is.
He kisses the side of my neck slowly as I let out a low whimper " good. I wouldn't advise getting one. "
" Why? " the word weakly spills out of my lips as I don't even recognize my own strangled voice.
" Because - " he plants another kiss underneath my ear causing a small gasp to leave my lips and my eyes to flutter close " I don't compete for nobodies attention and - " .
He kisses my neck this time sucking a little causing me to let another strangled sound, I feel so out of control , which I usually hate but it doesn't feel terrible right now. He kisses further down my neck each kiss leaving me weaker than the one before. I feel a puddle begin to form between my legs causing them to clench together. Keith notices as he begins to suck on my neck harder as he hand slips inside my shorts with them being a size too big around my small waist he easily slides his hand past my underwear before playing with my folds.
" K-Keith" I whisper as I feel his fingers begin to run up and down my " flower".
I grip his bicep feeling my knees start to give out on me. He takes his free hand to cover my mouth as I feel two of his fingers dip inside my insides causing me to let out a moan. I've never heard myself moan so it was a foreign sound to my ears but he seems to like it as he let out a low growl. Taking his fingers out he dips them back in moving them around a few times which earns another soft moan from my lips.

I nod quickly as he speed up his pace.

Opening my eyes briefly I see a wide smirk on his face before I close my eyes feeling him re-enter his fingers. We both hear the door open and my eyes shoot open, coming back to reality out of my fogged up brain. He pulls his fingers out of me as I let out a quiet gasp. Stepping far back away from me as Taylor rounded the corner.
Taylor. Oh my god, Taylor. That's why it was wrong. Or was it? I mean, I didn't kiss him? We didn't have sex. I didn't engage in it he did that purely on his own. So I didn't do anything. He didn't cheat. Andrew stuck his dick inside someone else, Keith and I didn't do that. We didn't cheat. Maybe if I told myself that I wouldn't feel as bad.
" I'm back! " she cheers smiling at me with her back to Keith.
Keith slowly brings his fingers to his mouth sucking the clear liquid from inside of me off of them "Okay, I'm finna get on the game. " he speaks finally looking at Taylor.
" Okay baby, I'll see you later! Tell Mama I said hi! " she giggles kissing his cheek.
" Nice to meet you y/n! "He smiles at me.
Who said his teeth had the right to be so white and straight?
" N-Nice to meet you too." I stutter out giving a tight lipped smile.
Taylor jumps turning towards Keith placing a hand on his shoulder " Oh baby, Y/N was telling me earlier that her friend was going to take her to some of the parties next week. You should totally hook her up with some of the guys! "
His smile drops and he stares at me looking directly into my eyes " I'll see. "
Taylor appears at my side grabbing my hand to take me back down to the party.
" Bye baby! "She cheers beginning to pull me like she started before we came up here.
" Look forward to seeing you around y/n. " Keith speaks lowly.
Taylor is halfway out the door when I turn a look back at Keith , he sends me a wink that causes my heart to flutter before I turn away.

I have so many ideas in my head to put in this book BUT I need you guys' help because I have NO IDEA who to write about so leave names in the comments with your favorite celebrities name for me to see! I have nothing but time with us being on Quarantine so please let me know!
