After today in school, Marinette is still thinking about what Adrien said, she doesn't want to break up Luka, there's finally someone who likes her for her, and now she might throw it all away.
Marinette: Oh no, what is he doing now? *Adrien walk you to her and stopped in front of her.*
Adrien: Tick tock, Marinette. You have until tomorrow. If not... *He punch her in the arm and in the eye.* You've been warned. *He walk away and Marinette rubbed her eye and her arm too.*
Marinette: Ugh, hate this. *She walked away and she get her sunglasses out and put them on her eyes and keep walking away and ignoring a couple of people on the way home.*
Luka: Hey, have you noticed something about Marinette?
Alya: No, why?
Luka: Just... something's off about her. Not sure what it is.
Alya: I'll ask her, hold on. *She get her phone out and call Marinette, then she picked up.* Hey, what happened? You just walked past us, what gives?
Marinette: Something came up, I-I'll talk later. *She hang up and Alya looked confused.*
Alya: Strange.
Luka: What?
Alya: She's hiding something.
Luka: I'll check it out. *He go to his bike and ride to Marinette's house. In her house, Marinette stopped at the front door and she breathe in and out a little bit, Tikki came out of her purse.*
Tikki: Marinette, you can't hide this shame from your parents. They're gonna find out eventually.
Marinette: No, Tikki. Until this whole thing pass by, I'm not showing them anything. In the meantime, try not to say anything.
Luka: Hey. *Marinette looked at Luka.* You okay?
Marinette: Oh, uh... yeah, I am.
Luka: What's with the sunglasses?
Marinette: Nothing. Just... feel like wearing them. No problem.
Luka: Are you sure?
Marinette: Yeah. No big deal.
Luka: Marinette. I know when you're lying. What are you hiding?
Marinette: Nothing, really. *Luka looked down at her and not convinced.*
Marinette: Okay, fine. You caught me. *She take them off and showed him her black eye, Luka looked shocked, he get off his bike and go up to her.*
Luka: What happened? Who did this to you?
Marinette: It was... (Adrien: If you tell anyone about this, I will do more than that.) I...I hit a pole.
Luka: Marinette. I know when you're lying. Who did this? If it's Adrien, I swear I'm gonna...
Marinette: Seriously. I hit a pole. I wasn't looking at where I was going and bam! I hit a pole. Can we just change the subject?
Luka: Okay. If you say so.
Marinette: Can I text you later? I have stuff to do.
Luka: Okay. *He kiss her on the cheek and go back to his bike and pedal home.* (Adrien, if you did this, I'm gonna end you.)
Marinette: I hate lying to him. *She put the sunglasses on her eyes again and walk inside and luckily, her parents aren't home yet, so she go upstairs to her room, she put her backpack on the chair and she go to the bathroom and look at her eye.* How bad is it, Tikki? *Tikki look at her eye.*
Tikki: Well, it's pretty bad. But, barely noticeable. You have nothing to worry about.
Marinette: It's a problem. If my parents find out about this, they'll flip. They can't find out about this.
Tikki: Don't worry. Just put some ice on it and maybe cover it up with something, they'll barely notice it.
Marinette: Okay. Maybe... you're right. *She leave the bathroom and go to the kitchen and get some ice for her eye.* Okay. Just gently put it on the area. *She slowly put the ice pack on her right eye, but she shivered because it's cold.*
Tikki: Just let the cold ice do it's job and maybe later on today, you'll cover it up.
Marinette: Hopefully. *Soon, her phone ringed, it's Adrien on FaceTime.* Ugh. What now? *She answered the FaceTime and she see Adrien.*
Adrien: Hello, Marinette. Are you ready to dump your little boyfriend?
Marinette: Adrien, no.
Adrien: That's it. Time to get a little bit stabby.
Marinette: No. just leave me alone, please.
Adrien: We had a deal, Mari. Do it or face more pain from me!
Marinette: I'd rather get hurt by you than break up with Luka.
Adrien: That's it! You're gonna do it or I'll tell the whole world that you're Ladybug.
Marinette: No, you can't.
Adrien: Oh, I will. So what's it going to be? Break up or bye bye secret? *Marinette cracked under pressure.*
Marinette: Okay. I'll do it. Just don't tell anyone this.
Adrien: Hah. That wasn't so hard, now was it? I'll be watching it, so no funny business. *He hang up and Marinette slide down on the refrigerator and covered her eyes.*
Marinette: I can't go through with this anymore, Tikki.
Tikki: Marinette, think this through. You don't have to do this.
Marinette: If it means if I get to be Adrien's personal punching bag and have my secret get out, I have to do this.
Tikki: Okay. (I don't want to lose you, Marinette.)
