I couldn't focus on work its been a week now since i found out. I just couldnt get over the fact that inha and chan are dating again.
I was on my way home already. I just want to sleep forever.

Just great, two of my friends are dating stray kids... good for them, now i dont want to come home. I guess im gonna be flying solo for the rest of my life.
"Sowon?" I turned around to see who it was.
"Mr. Seo." I slightly bowed.
"No need to be so formal, call me Johnny." I just smiled and nodded. "Are you going home?"
"I dont really want to but yeah." I waited for the cab.
"Wanna grab a bite?" I stared at him. Its very tempting... "its fine if you dont want to."
"No wait." He looked surprised at my change of mood. "Just a quick bite right?"
"Yeah if thats what you want." He smiled.
"Lets go then."
A slight delay is fine right? I just need a moment to compose myself. We were walking straight ahead.
"What do you want to eat?"
"Anything light is fine."
"A light meal hmmm." He was thinking.
Is it wrong that im doing this? I mean i dont really like this guy and it'd be rude if i turned back. Im sure inha and aini are getting along fine, probably talking about their boyfriends.
"Do you like subway?" He pointed at the store, but there were too many people, it'll take me too long.
"How bout that?" I pointed from the other side.
"A food stand?" He looked surprised.
"Yeah, its good and there's no line." I pulled him.
"But i-." He went along.
"Ahjumma, 4 please." I took one for him and one for me. He was just staring at it.
"Eat up." He gave a little smile.
"Youre not eating." I stopped chewing. "Wait you dont like fish cakes?! Oh im really sorry i shouldve asked you first uhm."
"Its fine, i just. Ive never had one before." He looked really embarrassed. I find it really cute.
"Youre kidding right?" He looked up at me and shaked his head. "What? Really? Are you really from korea?" He was just speechless. "Wow, thats how rich you are?"
"Im not that rich."
"Uh huh, says the guy who never had fish cakes."
"I always wondered what these things are." He pointed to all the food.
"Well what are you waiting for? Take a bite!" I urged him and he just nodded and took it slowly to his mouth.
"This is really good." His eyes widen.
"Youre welcome." I continued to eat.
"I never thought id try stuff like this."
"Well i enjoy stuff like this so, if you need a guide with street foods you know who to call." I pointed myself.
"But i dont have your number."
"Oh right. Maybe if we meet again." I chuckled.
We were finished eating.
"Thats a very odd chance, here." He handed me his phone. "Your boyfriend wouldnt mind right?" He raised his eyebrow.
"Why,would you still take my number if i had one?" I chuckled and took his phone.
"Uh i know you dont have one thats why i asked for it. But if you did have one i wouldn't be talking to you in the first place."
"Thats good to hear." I gave his phone back.
"So where should we go next?" He checked his time.
"Shoot, i have to go home." I forgot.
"I thought you said you dont want to go home?"
"Yeah, but i have to inha and aini are waiting for me." I received a text from aini asking where i was.
"I can give you a ride? My car is just at the office. You can wait here ill pi-."
"Look a taxi!" I yelled and waved over. But the driver didnt see me. "Come on!" I pulled him and ran to the end of the street and kept yelling for the taxi.
"He wont hear you, let me just get my-"
"Yes! Finally." The taxi stopped around the corner. "Hey thanks for tonight, im really in a hurry but thanks for the offer. I have to go before the driver leaves." I bowed and jogged to the taxi.
"Get home safe!" Johnny yelled.
"You too!" I waved from the window.
Thankfully i got home quicker than expected.
Inha was quick to open the door for me.
"Yah what took you so long?" She closed the door behind me.
"Sorry i bumped into someone." I removed my coat.
"Who?"
"A friend." I smiled.
"Come on were already at the dining room."
"Sowon!" Aini hugged me.
"You just saw me today."
"But that was just a video call."
"So whats going on?" Like i dont know whats really going on?
"Lets eat first." Inha sat beside me.
"How was work?" Aini started.
"Fine, still the same."
"Jihoon still in the department?"
"Yeah, he still doesnt like me."
"Thats nothing new i guess." Aini shrugged.
"What about you when are you going back to malaysia?"
Aini stopped eating. Whoops i think i hit a sensitive subject.
"You are going back right?" I stared at her.
The table was quiet.
"Of course, i have to even if i dont want to." She lightly chuckled.
"When?" Oh my word why wont my mouth stop?
"Well ill be gone next month. Since were at this topic i want to ask you a favor." She stared at me with pleading eyes.
"Okay?"
"I want you to come with us to the fan meet." She said so firmly.
"Inha are you going? She can come with you." I pointed at inha.
"Actually im not going if you arent." She pursed her lips.
"Oh come on you guys know im busy. You can go without me ill be fine." I waved my hand in the air.
"You can file a leave, its just one day." Inha reasoned.
"And have my work piled up?"
"Well..." inha just sighed.
"But im gonna be leaving soon, and ill only enjoy it if im with my friends and the person i like." Aini pouted.
Inha was just silent, she knows better than to force me to see minho.
"Ill think about it." I heaved a long sigh.
"Can you at least give me an answer tomorrow?" Aini negotiated.
"Okay." Lets just end this conversation.
The dinner ended okay, inha and aini kept popping up conversation and i did my best to initiate one, even if im dying to have some alone time.
I went to my room once aini left.
Am i being selfish right now? I stared at the ceiling.
I dont want to see him anymore, he doesnt remember me whats the point? Besides if i go there, ill just see chan and inha staring at each other lovingly,hiding the fact that they know each other. While minho will try his best to make me happy because im a fan. It'll be like scratching a healing wound,and i cant forget the fact that changbin will be like that too, seeing them will just make me upset.
I dont want to get my hopes up anymore. I thought i moved on, but i was just fooling myself all this time.
"Sowon?" Inha knocked i didnt answer but she still went in. "Im sorry about earlier." She sat by my bed.
"Its fine, aini doesnt know its not your fault."
"Im not forcing you to come with us."
I frowned at her.
"So thats why you said you wouldnt come if i wont?" I looked away.
"I thought that i shouldnt go if you dont want to go,I cant leave you alone? Thats why ill go if you only want to go."
"Im fine being a soloist."
"Not me, i cant have fun knowing you'll be sad and alone."
"Thanks for lifting the weight off my shoulder."
"Im sorry, i just dont wanna go there if youre not okay yet. Ill feel guilty seeing chan."
"Look i told you before, if youre happy then im happy. I dont want you to pity me and stop yourself from being happy because im stuck, doing that will make me feel bad. I want you to be happy and enjoy it for my sake hmm? Im gonna be fine and im gonna be ready someday, just not now." I smiled at her.
"Youre right im sorry if i put a lot of pressure on you."
"Its fine you had good intentions."
"Im gonna go to bed, see you in the morning." Inha stood up and left.
I will be fine right? Aigooooo.

I woke up early and started to make breakfast. I felt guilty towards sowon, i hope she and minho find their way together if not, i hope she'll be fine soon.
I cant tell aini what happened in the past, i dont know what excuse i could tell her. I flip the other side of the spam.
"Morning." Sowon walked in.
"Hey."
"You look troubled." She started to make coffee.
"Oh. Im fine."
"I made you one." She raises the mug.
"Thanks, you know im so used in you making me coffee i might have to hire someone to make me one when you're gone." I chuckled.
She just nodded, still sleepy i guess. She was drinking her coffee, eyes still closed.
"Youre so cute in the morning." I squished her cheeks.
Her eyes opened and frowned at me.
"Thanks for reminding me."
"What?"
"Chan can make you coffee." She stood up and grabbed her towel.
"Hmm, if he comes home to me. We rarely see each other." I pouted.
"Thats payback." She left the kitchen.
Payback for what?
She came back all dressed up ready for work.
"Youre not going to work?" Sowon asks as she started to eat.
"I will, im only working half day."
"Why? Are you sick?"
Then an idea came to me.
"Thats it!"
"You must be sick in the head." She looked weirded out.
"I have a solution for you, since you dont want to go to the fan meet and you cant tell aini the real reason why, you'll call in sick!" I nodded.
"Sick? Like she would believe me?" She just chuckled.
"Youve got to make it realistic, work overtime the night before."
"Done that."
"Well double it, tell her that your boss wants you to finish work since you'll be on leave."
She just nodded.
"How am i gonna fake my sickness then."
"Huge headache and dizziness."
"Thats so easy to fake though."
"Then trigger your allergy."
"Are you telling me to eat pineapple? And be all itchy?"
"You dont want to go right? And you want her to believe you."
She was about to say something but she didnt, instead she drank a lot of water.
"So why arent you working today?" She changed the subject.
"I have a few errands to run."
"You mean youre running to JYP?"
"We cant meet at daytime, besides theyre really busy."
"Whatever you say."
Sowon's mood swings are firing these days...
