Finally, it's Friday and the sun start to rise and Marinette start to wake up, she rubbed her eyes and look at the time and it's 7:00 am.
Marinette: Good morning, Tikki.
Tikki: Good morning, Marinette. It's Friday.
Marinette: Yeah, I noticed. Better get ready for school. *She get out of bed and Tikki fly down with her to the bathroom. She start brushing her teeth, rinsing with mouthwash, and wash her face. She stepped into the shower and take a shower. Then 5 later, she stepped out of the bathroom with towels around herself and on her head, she start getting fresh clothes and start getting dressed and she start doing her hair too.*
Tikki: Pigtails this time?
Marinette: No, not this time. I'll let it hang next time. *She brush her hair and put in the rubber bands on the hair and look in the mirror.* Let's go have some breakfast. *She came downstairs and head to the kitchen.*
Tom: Good morning, sweetheart.
Marinette: Morning. Where's mom?
Tom: She's in the bakery getting ready to open up. I made some scrambled eggs, toast with grape jelly, and a bowl of strawberries.
Marinette: Thanks dad.
Gina: Good morning, everyone.
Tom: Hi, mom.
Gina: It's a shame my time here with my family is ending tomorrow.
Tom: You could come next weekend for Marinette's birthday.
Gina: I would love to come back.
Marinette: Great. *She check her phone for the time.* Better get to school. See you later. *She grab her backpack and leave the house.*
Tom: Have a good day, honey. When are you leaving?
Gina: Probably tonight.
Tom: We'll whip you something for your travel back home.
Gina: Great.
Outside, Marinette walk to school when a car was parked next to her. It's Adrien and his bodyguard. Adrien rolled down the window and look at Marinette.
Adrien: Marinette. Need a ride?
Marinette: No, I'm good.
Adrien: Please. Just this once. *Marinette rolled her eyes and sighed too.*
Marinette: Fine. Just this once. *He scoot over and Marinette opened the door and get in too and she close the door too and his bodyguard drive them both off to school.*
Adrien: (Just make small talk to her. It's not that hard to do.) So, uh... how you doing?
Marinette: I'm okay.
Adrien: Listen, uh... I was wondering if you would like to come to my house for dinner tonight. You don't have to, but my father insisted on inviting some of my friends over.
Marinette: I don't know. My grandma's leaving tonight.
Adrien: Oh. Okay, then. Sorry I forgot you have other plans.
Marinette: Sorry Adrien, it had to be this way. And... I don't think we should hang out anymore.
Adrien: What? Why not?
Marinette: I'm with Luka and things will be pretty awkward for both of us. Sorry. *Adrien looked sad and away from Marinette.*
Adrien: (She has moved on. And I blew it big time. I lost my closest friend and there's no way I can get her back.) I'm... happy for both of you.
Marinette: Thank you. *Soon, the car stopped at the front of the school, Marinette opened the door and stepped out of the car, so did Adrien and his bodyguard drive off too. Marinette go up the steps and Adrien saw her going up and he decided to follow her up.*
Adrien: (I'm not giving up that easily.) *He keep following her to the courtyard and he hide behind a bench. He see her going up to Luka and she hug him too.* (Ugh! Why does he come to our school again? I hate him so much. How dare he took something from me! I have to scare them a little bit. Starting with my little princess.)
Luka: Doing anything today?
Marinette: No, why?
Luka: Just asking.
Marinette: Unless if you want me to do something for you.
Luka: Nope. You don't have to.
Marinette: Okay. If you say so. (I have something planned for you today. Just you wait.)
