Grace PoV
I came with my mom to buy the supplies for the week, and by supplies I mean everything Seo-Yun could use and of course food for me, my mom and (y,n). I'm glad she is here with me, tomorrow (y,n) will head back to take my position in the white tigers because I need to stay and take care of the baby until I don't have to feed her.
"Ok so...diapers?" I said and my mom was checking the cart
"Check!" She said pointing at the diapers in the cart and I crossed a line in my tablet
"Well we have everything, we can go home now" I said as I cracked my fingers, just like I use to do when I was making my enemies phone ring
"Good, let's go before (y,n) does something to my granddaughter" my mom said worried
"Come on mom, (y,n) would never do something to his own daughter" I said
"What if he drops her!" My mom said and even though I trust (y,n) I was getting worried We went to the cashier and paid for everything and ran towards our car.
Time Skip
We arrived at home, I tried to get one where (y,n) can get comfortable with, you know since he agree to live with me in Seoul away from his country and family I think it's only fair, I wanted him to live like we lived in (y,c) but he said adapting to the Korean culture could be fun.
I took everything of the car with my mother's help, we both were worried about Seo-Yun and when we entered to our house we headed to the living room and saw (y,n) watching T.V in the couch and Seo-Yun was sleeping on his chest and Axel in the floor next to the couch.
"See, there is nothing to worry about!" I said after sighing in relief
"Uh you are back" he whispered at me after I tapped his shoulder
"You know she has a crib right?" I said
"yeah but it was too far, and I was watching a movie" he said and I rolled my eyes
"Give me Seo-Yun, I'll put her in her crib while you help mom put everything we bought in its place" I said as I took our daughter off his chest and took her to our room, her crib was next to our bed my side of the bed to be exactly.
I gently put her in her crib, I'm glad mom taught me how to covered her in her blankets, I gently gave her a kiss, every time I see her...she doesn't look Korean, she looks more like (y,n) which I'm glad...I'm kinda ugly but she got my hair color and my green eyes. I left her there and quickly headed back to the living room because my mom and (y,n) alone... Someone might get hurt.
(Y,N) PoV
I finally put the last thing in the refrigerator while Grace's mother was putting the things of the baby in its place.
"You know I was expecting you to be a mess as a dad but you handled Seo-Yun pretty well" she said
"well, for a baby she behaves well" I said chuckling
"Of course, she is an angel" she said really proud
"Ok I'm back! is everyone ok?" Grace shows up and she was panting
"Yeah, we all know your family hates me" I said and Grace mother nodded without hesitation
"MOM!" Grace yelled at her mother
"But we all love Seo-Yun" I said and everyone nodded because it was true
"I agree, I still think you are not fit for my daughter but now Seo-Yun is here" Grace's mother said
"I can't believe it's been a month..." Grace yawns
"Well someone is sleepy" I said and she nodded
"You must sleep too, remember you are going back to work tomorrow" Grace said
We finished up and headed to our room, Axel was sleeping next to Seo-Yun's crib we changed our clothes and went to bed
"I don't understand why you keep agreeing with my mom when she says my family hates you" grace said
"I don't know, I think it's funny" I chuckled
"I don't think it is" grace said, she was wearing a serious face
"It's funny because I don't care Grace..." I said
"Sometimes I wonder what's on that mind if yours" Grace rolled her eyes and I kissed her forehead
"I love you Grace, your mother or your family won't change that despite what they say" I said and she smiled
"I think we should sleep now that Seo-Yun is sleeping too" Grace said
Next Day
All good things shall come to an end, today I have to go back to work and nothing says welcome back like a mission, I was heading to the debriefing room with Vigil, he told me there was a new girl in our team...if he was expecting me to get excited it was working.
"Finally the tourist is here" Ronan, our tech expert, said, I saw the way everyone was looking at the new recruit. She was nice looking I'll give her that...but Seo-Yun and Grace win by far.
"Ok guys, what do we have" I said as I sit down
"We had reports that the Korean gangs are fighting in Busan, not every day but when they do...people get caught in the fight" Ronan said
"What about the police in the area?" I asked
"That's the problem, the police in that area are under the gangs payroll" Vigil said
"They are corrupted" I said rolling my eyes
"Not all of them, but they are a few" Ronan said
"That's why they are sending us?" The girl said
"Yeah, we need to get ready We might spend a week in Busan" Vigil said and my eyes widened in surprise
"We need to go home and pack everything we need for the trip...I expect you to be here within five hours" He added
Time Skip
I arrived home really sad...I wasn't expecting to spend a week away from my family. I opened the door and Grace gave me a warm welcome, but her face changed when she saw my sad face.
"What's the matter honey?" She asked concerned
"We are going to Busan and stay there for a week at least until everything is taken care of" I said
"If you want me to stay I will, just say the word" I quickly added
"But I want you to go..." Grace put her hand on my cheek
"And I don't want you to take care of our daughter alone" I said and she smiled
"We will be alright!" She said then she began dragging me
"Come on, we need to pack up your things!" She added
Ten Minutes Later
I was at the door ready to leave, Grace was holding Seo-Yun
"Say Bye to Daddy!" Grace said gently holding Seo-Yun's little arm making her waved at me, I smiled and kissed her forehead then gave Grace a kiss on the lips.
"I'll call you every night, I swear. Goodbye!" I said before leaving
Next Day
Busan, South Korea
We arrived at the hotel the General got for us, it was a cheap one, we usually would've stayed at the police HQ but since they can't be trusted...it's better this way.
Suddenly someone knocked at the door and when I opened it, my team entered the room.
"Yeah sure! Come on in" I sarcastically said
"So what's the play?" Vigil said and I looked at then confused
"Are you asking me?" I said
"Well yeah" Ronan said
"Well I was planning to go to the HQ here and talk to the person in charge...hoping he can give us some names" I said
I was planning to finish this as soon as possible, I know Grace wanted me to come but I think it's not fair that she has to take care of Seo-Yun alone. Also I wanted to check the food street market in the night.
"Fine by me" Claire, the new recruit, said
"Ok, it's 12:00 in the morning so let's get this done quick and see if we can return to Seoul" I said yawning
Time Skip
My new suit was kinda weird and by that I mean that I was wearing the korean flag on one of my arms. We arrived at the HQ and and we entered the place like if we own the place and we headed to the captain office.
"what are you doing here?" He said
"we came to help you to fight this gangs" I said
"We have everything under control" he said
"That's cool, but I didn't ask if you had or not everything under control" I said
"I don't want to hear a foreign man telling me how to do my job" he hits his table and stood up trying to show me his authority
"Did you finish?" I said after giving a long sigh then suddenly grabbed him by the neck
"I don't care, but what I do care is that people are dying out there in this gang war you haven't stopped yet...I also heard you guys have some guys under their payrolls...you better pray to god the white tigers doesn't find them..." I said then I looked at my team
"Check the entire building, don't leave anything unturned...if someone gets in your way, you know what to do" I added and everyone nodded
After a while my team came back with good news, as I expected so I guess I can call it a day, With was almost night so I told them to go back or if they want to do something they could do it, but I was heading to the food street market.
Time Skip
I finally arrived and I could smell all the food, I wanted to try to I ahead to the first stand and asked for the most delicious think I could have, but when I took the money to pay my wallet got stolen.
"Hey sir your wallet was stolen!" The woman who gave me the food said and I just sighed
"are you on him?" I said
S: of course, who do you think you are talking to
I followed the robber to an alley where he was getting beaten by a police officer
"I just stole a wallet!" The kid said he was bleeding and one of his eyes were covered in bandages
"I'll put you in jail for years...but I'm a nice man, so get in there again and bring me everything you can find of value..." the police said
"Well...what do we have here!" I said
"What? Do you have something to say?" The police said but as soon as he got closer I punched him so hard that I broke his nose.
I saw the kid and headed towards him, he was scared but I helped him to get up
"where are your parents?" I said
"At home..." He said
"Do you think they would be happy to know you are stealing?" I said but he didn't say anything
"What's your name?" I asked him
"Alex..." He said
"Well Alex, how about we go and eat something and you give me my wallet back?" I said as I extend my hand to him
"I'm not sure..." he said after giving me my wallet then I heard a sound coming from his stomach
"Are you sure?" I said and he shyly nodded
He was about to leave but I grabbed him, and headed to eat something, we had a lot of fun eating things we have never tried before, the fun was over...we both had to go back home so we took different ways...
When I arrived home I called Grace...
"Oh god finally!" Grace said
"sorry, I was sightseeing" I said
"How are you?" I added
"Well I'm ok, we went for a walk today, mom said fresh air could do good for the kid but I made sure to covered her well...I didn't want her to catch a cold" she said
"Grace...it's summer" I said
"and? you'll never know!" She said and I chuckled
"Where were you?" She added
"I went to the food street market" I said
"How was the food?" She asked me
"It was amazing, I meet a kid there too...he was alone so I invited him to eat" I said totally forgetting the part where he stole my wallet
"that's good, but I hope you are not planning on getting fat now, you need to take care of yourself honey...Seo-Yun would be sad if you don't do that" Grace said and I sighed
"I'm not planning on doing that..." I chuckled
"hey I'm leaving then, I'm going to give Seo-Yun a shower and head back to sleep" she said
"Take care honey, be careful" she added
"Goodbye babe...I'll see you tomorrow" I said and hung up the phone
I fell on the bed and sighed, tomorrow is going to be a long day...but the faster I finish this mission the better, I couldn't help but to think about the kid...wonder where is he now.
Alex PoV
"WHERE ARE YOU? You little piece of half blind shit, I'm going to make you fully blind for not getting me what I wanted!!!" My dad said, I was hiding below the bed, the only place where he can't get me.
I hate my parents, mom is dead because of him and he always beats me...I don't want to be here anymore!
