Luke/Percy's POV
I quickly rushed into my room and locked it, knowing the demigod's first place is to look into my house.
Why isn't this easy?
Why can't I have a normal life?
'I am so sorry Luke' Order whispered 'I am so-'
"It's okay Order, it's fine" I whispered, knowing my tears are still running down my face.
I lent against the door and slowing went down the door, my head in my knees.
"I just have bad luck, that's all" I whispered "I hope they can break his spell, I know they believe me...it's only a matter of time"
I sighed, hard to get a breath.
"I-It's just sucks being alone" I whispered "Last time I had Nyx and Andy...heck, Andy will have to follow Chaos to kill me so I literally have no one...how the hell am I suppose to tell the mortals? 'Oh yeah, everyone hates me again, even though literally a day ago we were fine. Also, Ava and I broke up, even though we were love birds"
I sobbed.
"W-Why do the fates hate me?" I sobbed.
'I-'
"Don't Balme yourself Order, it's not your fault. It's your father's as he is stubborn for change" I whispered "I just wish he didn't have to do that to the others, now they will be trapped inside themselves"
He just sighed.
I just closed my eyes, trying to calm my breathing.
"Luke? Is that you?"
I froze, hearing Andy's voice.
He will send me to Chaos!
I can't trust him.
"Luke?"
I heard footsteps to my door.
I heard him sigh.
"Luke?"
"I'm fine, just a late night" I replied, trying to cover my sobs.
I covered my mouth.
"I know you're lying Luke-"
"J-Just don't okay?" I asked, "It's one of my bad days, just leave me alone okay?"
Andy sighed.
"I know what happened" Andy said, making me hold my breath "I was there remember?"
So he's under the spell.
"A-Are you going to h-hurt me?" I whispered.
Silence came between us.
"No" Andy said "I don't care what Void says, you're my client and my closest friends"
"But the spell-"
"I know Void has done something, it was obvious by the way the others reacted...and I seemed to not be affected" Andy said "That's why Chaos ordered me to protect you?"
I turned to the door, confused.
"Protect me?" I asked.
"Yes" Andy said "Chaos is suspicious of his father, and he doesn't want you nor Order hurt. But he has to do it without his father knowing"
I laughed softly.
"I don't believe that for a second" I said coldly "You really think I can be fooled?"
Andy sighed.
"I swear upon Chaos and Order's name that I am speaking the truth" Andy said.
I widen my eyes as I didn't hear anything.
"Now, can you let me in please?" Andy asked.
I stood up slowly, debating if I should or not.
'You should' Order said 'Trust him'
I opened the door and immediately Andy hugged me.
I started to sob again, tighting the hug.
"You don't deserve this" Andy whispered "You deserve rest. Void needs to pay"
"I know" I whispered, "But I need to get used to...used to-"
I felt my eyes droop.
"You haven't slept in weeks Luke, you need to sleep" Andy said as my vision got blurry "Rest, I will protect you"
And I felt myself fall into Hypnos' realm, feeling safe in Andy's arms.

I woke up confused.
I noticed my allies standing around me, in our base.
Everyone but Apollo.
"Wait, how did I-"
"You're in a dream" Hypnos said "We heard what happened"
I looked down and nodded.
"Void has got everyone under a spell" I replied "Even Apollo"
"Well, not exactly"
I looked up and looked at Gaia.
"Yes, he was under the spell but since he is the god of health, he half fought back" Gaia explained.
"He's currently in a coma in his room" Tartarus continued.
I widen my eyes.
"So it is possible to fight it?" I asked.
"That's what believe" Hecate said "They're just trapped inside themselves...like how you and Order were like"
I froze.
"Are they experiencing any pain?" I asked, thinking immediately of my friends, especially Luna and Ava.
"No" Eros replied "They are just trapped, unconscious until they wake, it is unknown if they will wake or not"
"You could be the key to waking them though" Hecate said "They have a strong connection with you, stronger than what Void has with them. You could trigger it"
I sighed.
"I-I just don't want them to be near me right now" I whispered "It will just bring too much pain"
"We know" Thanatos said "But it's the only way"
"Chaos might be on our side" I said, surprising them all.
"How?" Erebus asked.
"He can sense the deceit" Apate replied.
"Yes, I still have Andy to help me out" I said and then muttered "At lest that's one person"
"We will help you as well Lucas, don't forget that" Thanatos said.
My vision went blurry.
"You're waking up" Hypnos said "Stay safe and call us if you need us"
I smiled as I felt myself waking up.

I woke up and noticed Andy sleeping in a chair right next to me, making me smile.
I sat up and yawned, feeling the sunlight on my skin.
"ANDY?!?!? WHERE ARE YOU?"
I widen my eyes while Andy bolted out of his sleep.
Mayla.
"You need to go" I said "I don't know how she will react to me"
He sighed but nodded, walking out my room.
He paused, looking back before closing the door.
"Rest" Andy said "I've cancelled appointments for the next couple of days"
I gasped.
"But-"
"Think of a cover up story" Andy said "We don't know what will happen when the others find you but knowing Void, they will cause a big scene in an important event for you"
I sighed and nodded.
He smiled and then closed the door behind him.
I groaned and fell back onto my bed as I heard "I'm here, what's wrong"
I decided to try and listen in on their conversation.
"Per- I mean Luke has been missing! We need to find him!" Mayla said angrily.
My stomach dropped.
"Why? May I ask?" Andy asked.
"You're Chaos' right hand man! Luke betrayed us again!" Mayla explained.
"He never betrayed you" Andy said coldly.
All no.
'You must go out there, he could reveal his status' Order said.
"Are you siding with him?" Mayla asked.
I opened my door, taking a deep breath.
"He is my client I-"
"Andy" I said coldly, making the both, who were at the bottom of the stairs below me "Enough with the pity"
Both of them widen their eyes as I walked down the stairs.
"A little tense Mayla?" I asked, smirking "Wow, are you scared of me?"
She almost snapped at me, glaring at me with so much...hate.
I almost shivered.
'It's fake, remember that Luke' Order said in my head 'It's not real'
"Never" Mayla said, making me laugh.
"Oh really?" I asked, looking her up and down "I won't hurt you anyway, you're family"
"So? You have Order who would kill me" Mayla said.
"Actually he won't" I said, looking her in the eyes "I'm not sure what your master told you but we're actually civil"
"Master?" Mayla said, almost laughing.
"Void and Chaos of course" I said "Being the...controlling beings they are not letting anyone have their own opinion"
I looked over at Andy.
"You would know all of that wouldn't you Andy?" I asked, a small smirk on my face.
"Chaos is a friend" Andy said "Not a master"
I laughed and roll my eyes.
"Whatever" I said "Now, would you excuse me, I'm not in the mood to kill anything so I'm going to sleep"
I turned around, not hearing a word from them.
"Percy"
I snapped my head around to see Ava.
I froze in complete fear.
I noticed the glazed look in her eye.
She's under the spell.
Oh Gods, I am alone.
Andy, noticing my panic stepped in front of me.
"My client needs rest, he hasn't had any in 2 weeks" Andy said, acting cold "Even though he is the enemy he is my client and I need money"
I couldn't help but laugh in the irony connecting to Order's impression of Andy when he first took control of me.
"Wow, going by 'Client'?" I asked, "Very classy"
"Go now" Andy demanded.
I rolled my eyes and looked over to lock them with Ava, who was staring at me curiously.
"What?" I asked "Had enough of your little experiment on me? Played me enough?"
Ava's face surprisingly turned to horror as I turned around and marched back up those stairs, actually having fun.
'Wait, what do you mean, 'actually having fun?' Order asked as I got into my room.
"What I mean is it is actually weirdly fun to stir everyone around" I said calmly as I sat on my bed.
'You do realise the door is open right?' Order asked.
"I know the door's open, they won't believe anything I say anyway so why bother?" I asked.
Order sighed.
'Since you're kinda calm I'll tell you more details on Void's curse' Order said.
He forced me to look into a mirror, instead of my reflection it was him.
"The curse Void uses takes 1 human month to complete and solidify with the people effected by the curse" Order explained "Before then we have a chance to break them out of it"
I nodded.
"Void has done this before, many years ago" Order said "To erase my good image on a planet...I was too late to save it and they hated me"
I closed my eyes, trying to make sense of this.
"So how?" I asked "How can I save everyone?"
"Little triggers" Order said "It could be memories or inside jokes...but for it enough for emotions to be confused, making it strong enough for the old person to come through"
I nodded.
"Okay" I said, opening my eyes "I'll make sure it won't happen here"
"We will do it together" Order said.
I smiled for what seemed like the first time in years.
One small step at a time.
