"Do you think we interrupted something?" I asked.
"Of course we did."
"This is your fault."
"What? Its yours you take too long to decide."
"Well, i dont think it was something serious anyways."
"Uh-huh sure."
"So, what do you plan on doing tonight?"
"Nothing big really."
"Good, cuz im still tired."
"Were just gonna go ghost hunting."
"What?"
"Ghost hunting? Havent you done that?"
"Nope, i dont believe in them actually."
"Hmm, too bad."
"Dont you think you and sowon would find that boring?"
"Youre right, thats why were gonna have a bonfire instead."
"Youre such a liar." He chuckled.
"Only to you."
"Should i be honoured?"
"Very much."
"Lets go to a souvenir shop after this." He took a spoonful.
"Sure, ill buy some stuff too."
"Who would you give those STUFF to?"
"Friends."
"Which friends?"
"I do have friends chan, i have a lot."
"How come i havent met them?"
"Cuz youre busy? And youre an idol, can i really go around telling everybody that youre mine?"
"I like that."
"Doesnt matter if you like it, its not allowed."
"You know that everybody knows minho and i have girlfriends." I looked at him shocked.
"By everybody you mean in JYP right?"
"That and fans. Though some dont really support it but most of them do."
"How come i dont receive hate comments?"
"Because we protected your identity."
"Didnt we talk about this the first time we dated?" He asked.
"I mustve forgot?" I laugh nervously.
No wonder he's too confident being affectionate outside. I bet sowon knows this already... maybe she thought the same, this makes the relationship less real.
"Hey, whats the look on your face?" I shook my head.
"Nothing. Just school stuff."
"Well, dont stress yourself. Lets enjoy our time together. Lets relax and have fun." I nodded.
"Okay."
"So, you'll introduce me to your friends right?"
"I will, when youre free."
"Good, im excited. I bet they'll be jealous since your boyfriend is the handsome leader of stray kids." He laughed.
"Youre too happy."
"I better look cool when that happens. Ill try to be humble."
"Youre so lame." I laughed.
"But you'll really introduce me right?"
"I will, why are you so worried?"
"Nothing, its just that minho met sowon's friends."
"In a funeral." I frowned.
"Still, they did met him as her boyfriend."
"But there wasnt an interaction, besides sowon didnt speak much about minho that time. They just presumed it." He just rolled his eyes. "Dont you want to meet my family instead?" I chuckled bitterly.
"Do you want me to?" He avoided my glance and played with his spoon.
"Maybe some other time." I smiled sadly. "But you did meet my sister."
"Where?" He furrowed his eyebrows.
"At the funeral..."
"Ahhh, How could i forget? She threatened minho with a frying pan." He smirked.
"Ooh youre smart. How did you know i was talking about sowon?"
"Im your boyfriend, dont you think im supposed to know those things?"
"But i dont talk about my family?"
"Makes it more obvious, you wouldve slipped at least once about a sibling if you have one..." he smiled sincerely trying to comfort me.
"Youre really smart huh..."
"I dont pry. We can talk about that some other time when youre ready but for now, lets go to that souvenir shop."
We went to a souvenir shop, he bought a lot for the kids, most of them were shirts. Some keychains and little figurines. I bought some for my close friends too.
It was already 4pm. We went back to the hotel lobby, and waited for the other two. When they arrived we went straight to the buffet restaurant we had under reservation, we ate quite a lot.
There was a fire show when we went back to the beach, there was loud music blaring and a few people watching. There wasnt much people since its a weekday, we watched a band performance from the hotel staff it was really fun.
We went to a quiet side of the beach since it was already pass nine. We were all sitting on the sand, around the small fire.
"Look at what ive got!" Chan came back from somewhere, he was holding a guitar.
"Woah, where'd you get that?" Sowon asked.
"I borrowed it from the staff." He shrugged and sat down beside me.
"Can you sing for me?" Chan asked.
"My voice isnt quite amazing..." i chuckled.
"its fine."
"Okay ill sing, but i want to hear you sing first."
"I always sing to you."
"Its different with a guitar plus you look really cool right now, so just do it." I gave him a small clap.
"Okay fine." He cleared his throat and started to strum the guitar.
"I found the love, for me. Darling just dive right in, follow my lead."
"Thats so sweet." Sowon whispered to me.
I stared at chan. The way he sings to me like im the most precious thing on earth. How his eyes reflect the fire, how his finger strums the guitar so gently. And how his voice sounds like honey. He smiled at me probably proud that he's got me head over heels for him.
Right now its him that i could only see, ive never been more blessed and this is one of the perfect nights ive had with him.
The moon was shining down on us like it was rooting for our love.
"I have faith in what i see, now i know i have met an angel in person. She looks perfect, i dont deserve this you look perfect tonight."
"Aww so sweet." I pretended to squeal.
"Your turn."
"Okay, do you know how to play stick with you?" He shaked his head. "Okay... how bout best part?" He nodded. "Well, get ready to cover your ears.
I sang the first part, i tried my best to make myself sound a little okay and presentable. Sowon was containing her smile, probably laughing since im trying too hard. I only sang until the first chorus.
"You sound okay to me."
"That was just me trying not to embarass myself in front of you singers."
"My baby is insecured, i really appreciate your effort." He hugged me.
"Good."
"Hyung, sowon has a really wonderful voice."
"No, no i dont feel like singing." Sowon waved her hands.
"Yes sing!" I tapped chan's shoulder rapidly.
"Okay what song do you want to sing?" Chan asked.
"I dont really know." Sowon whispered.
"Its fine, its just us." Minho laughed, sowon was asking him to stop it. "Hyung, do you know butterfly by bts?"
"I dont know the chords, but i can search it right now, i do know the song so i can follow through."
"You dont have to." Sowon scratched her neck.
"Her voice really suits that song." Minho commented
"You must have a soothing voice since thats a sad song." Chan spoke.
"It kinda makes me sad when i think about it, you really sang that with emotions." Minho turned his head to sowon.
"I was just feeling the moment." She shrugged.
My eyes widen at her.
"She just really liked sad songs." I brush it off, and they both nodded. Sowon mouthed a sorry.
"Ill just sing someone like me by twice." Sowon requested.
"Great, i know that song." Chan started to strum the guitar and played it. Sowon started to sing, minho was whipped.
"Stop drooling minho." I teased and he just rolled his eyes on me.
Sowon finished the whole song.
"You really have an amazing voice." Minho praised.
"So do you."
"Lets have one last song from minho, then ill give this baby back." Minho nodded.
Minho sang, im yours with bang chan. We all jammed together.
Bang chan and i returned the guitar together and left the two together.
Jung Sowon
Minho stared at me, he laid his back on the sand and i rested my head on his chest. He interlocked his hands with mine. I stared at our hands and noticed something.
"Is this my ring?" I looked up at him.
"Yeah, you finally noticed." He laughed.
"Have you worn it since morning?" I laughed.
"Nope, for a month actually." My eyes widen.
"Youre lying." I stood up.
"Im telling the truth."
"How come i never noticed?"
"Actually, i dangled it along with my pendants, but i got bored since you never notice it hanging around my neck so i wore it instead.
"You wore a necklace?" I laughed.
"See, this shows you dont pay attention."
"Well, i dont actually care about the things you wear. I focus on your face close to mine."
"Clever but that wont work."
"Oh come on, you cant expect me notice that. I always look at you face to face. And hold your hands instead."
"Another thing, dont you think if you hugged me more you would've noticed?" He raised his brow.
"I thought you prefer kisses than hugs." I pouted.
"I prefer both." He shaked his head at me. "You need to make it up to me." I kissed his cheek and hugged him tight.
"You need to make it up to me too." He furrowed his eyebrow. "For taking my ring without permission." I crossed my arms.
"Fine." He hugged me so tight i almost suffocated, he lets go and laughed. "Where's my kiss?" I pouted.
"My crimes arent that big though." He laughed.
"Whatever." I rolled my eyes and turned away. He grabbed my face and kissed me deeply.
"Is that enough for you?" He said under his breath. I punched his chest.
"Youre crazy, those two might see us."
"So? Im sure they kiss all the time." He laid back.
"Whatever." He just smirked.
The two returned after that. Me and minho went back to our room while chan and inha stayed.
