okay so, i want to say something !!
i highly dislike being treated like a "celebrity" or someone "higher up" than most of you, just because i write this book and it has quite a lot of views.
like, for one, that makes me extremely uncomfortable because it gives me the feeling of maybe some people don't genuinely want to be my friend- and only want to be my friend because i write a book that happens to have a lot of views. it just makes me so uncomfortable, and also slightly irritated because i'm just like- why are you flexing that i'm your friend? i'm literally a teenage girl who stans stray kids and is quite in love with lee minho.
i really don't like that feeling, at all, and i don't like being 'shown off' as if i'm some treasure that's only won by few- because honestly, i talk to anyone. i'm not a treasure, i'm not won by few- and the only thing that 'makes you win me' is if you make me crush on you, because i never crush on anyone- but that's obviously already taken.
also, it kind of makes me feel sad? because a lot of people are shy to talk to me- and i understand social anxiety completely !! like, if you wanna talk to me, but are too shy to, i will 100% make the first move- but if you're shy to talk to me because i have a lot of views on a book and think i might be mean or stuck up,, it just makes me sad because i don't want anyone feeling that way!
like, i just,,, don't want to be treated as a celebrity. i don't want to be shown off like, "omg we talk!! omg we're friends!!" or anything like that.
i understand the,, "omg she noticed me!" feeling, and it's cute,,, but if you just take that and make it like, "lol jay noticed me and didn't notice you" it just makes me upset ??? because i see all of the comments, 100%, and i promise that, but i don't really reply sometimes bc i have no idea what to say. so technically, everyone gets noticed by me. some, are just more visible than others.
so just, long rant short, i don't want to be shown off- don't show me off. don't make it seem like it's some rare event to talk to me, it's not. don't be afraid to talk to me or have a wrong image of me, because i can promise i'm nice and give everyone a chance. if you feel shy, but want to text me, just let me know and i'll definitely make the first move. but, please, don't treat me like i'm not a teenager or another regular stay. i don't want to be treated as "omg !!! jay actually talks to us !!!" and i just want to be treated as "hey look, jay texted:)"
