"I'm Eben." He smiled, shaking my hand.
"Lana." I nodded.
"I was just about to rent one of those." Eben gestured to my paddleboard, "They any good?"
"I don't know. I haven't gone on one yet, I got here this morning, with two of my other friends. They're by the pool." I shrugged.
"Oh, cool. I'm here with a few of my friends, but they're down the beach." Eben said. Just as I was about to ask if his friends with the group of boys, he asked, "Do you mind if I join you?"
"Not at all," I said.
"Great, thanks. I'll rent one now and we can head down there." Eben smiled.
"Sounds like a plan." I beamed.

𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐚'𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐯.
"Thank you," I said to Eben with a smile.
"No problem." Eben grinned, "I've been posting so much, and tonight I'm hyping up my friends with their new video. So it's gonna be all spam." He nodded towards the sea as I put my stuff down, "Let's hit the waves."
"Yes!" I agreed. We ran to the clear, warm water and attempted paddleboarding.
"This isn't that hard, you know." Eben frowned. I floated closer to him and flipped his board over, so he splashed into the water. He emerged from under the water, shaking his hair so water sprinkled everywhere. I giggled. "Oh, it's on."
"Never!" I frowned, paddling as fast as I could away from him. Eventually, he managed to grab my foot and pull me off. I shrieked as I fell into the water, I could hear Eben laughing. "Eben!" I said, hitting him lightly.
"Lana!" He laughed, splashing me with water.
After about an hour, we got out and grabbed our stuff.
"You headed back to the hotel?" I asked him.
"I was actually gonna go up the beach, see how my friends are doing. You're more than welcome to join, I'm sure they wouldn't mind." Eben shrugged.
"Yeah... ok. Sure." I nodded.
"Cool." Eben smiled, "Let's go."
We walked along the beach, and it started to become more and more deserted of people. I frowned.
"Where is everyone?" I asked.
"They rented out the beach house up here. It's a private estate, there won't be anyone around." Eben shrugged.
After a few more minutes of walking, we started to hear excited chatter and familiar shouts.
"ZACH! Zach!" Eben shouted, waving his hand. One of the boys I recognised turned around and grinned.
"Eben! Hey!" Zach ran up to us and did a quick handshake with Eben, before noticing me. "Who's this?"
"This is Lana. I met her back at the hotel, we just went paddleboarding." Eben explained, "Lana, this is Zach."
"Hey, Zach." I smiled and politely shook his hand.
"Hey, Lana." Zach grinned, "We're gonna be shooting in a couple of minutes. We just got ready." He gestured to his clothes, "But you're more than welcome to watch."
"Watch what exactly?" I asked, giving him an unsure smile.
"Oh, right!" Zach put a hand to his forehead, "I'm in a band with four other guys, Why Don't We. We just came out with a new song 'What Am I', so we're filming the music video." My jaw dropped.
"You're joking?"
"I know, pretty cool, right? Eben sings too." Zach nodded to him. I turned to Eben, still with my jaw hanging open.
"Yeah, I sing solo." He shrugged, humbly.
"You never told me that!" I smiled, impressed and hit him lightly on the arm again.
"We were having so much fun!" Eben protested.
"Anyways, do you wanna meet the rest of the guys?" Zach asked me.
"Yeah, sure." I nodded. Zach led me and Eben through a crowd of people and up to the beach house, where cameras were being set up. I saw the guy who had smiled at me, holding a coffee and talking to a blonde boy.
"Jonah! Daniel!" Zach smiled, "This is Lana." Jonah and Daniel stopped their conversation and looked at me.
"Oh! I recognise you!" Jonah smiled.
"Yeah, we made eye contact on the balcony earlier." I gave him a small smile.
"Well, I'm Jonah." He shook my hand politely.
"Which means I'm Daniel." Daniel grinned, giving me a hug, "It's great to meet you."
"Who's this?" Another blonde boy walked over.
"This is Lana. I met her back at the hotel." Eben nodded, "This is Corbyn." He said to me.
"Hey, Corbyn." I smiled.
"Hey." Corbyn gave me a wave.
"The only one left is Jack." Zach looked around.
"I'm here?" A voice said from behind us. We all turned around, where the last boy stood, confused. A smile formed on his face when he saw me.
"Jack, this is Lana. Lana, this is Jack." Jonah said.
"Hey." Jack grinned, shaking my head.
"Nice to meet you." I smiled. We held eye contact for a few moments and our hands didn't let go until we were interrupted.
"Guys! We need you over here!" Someone shouted, beckoning them over. Jack gave me one last smile before wandering away with the others.
"Do you want some food? There's a whole table over there. It's for after and for... you know the crew but..." Eben shrugged. I laughed just as my phone started to ring, it was Maddy.
"Sorry, I have to take this," I said to Eben.
"Oh, yeah. Go ahead." He smiled and nodded behind him. I gave him a smile before putting the phone to my ear and walking a few steps away from him.
"Hello?" I said.
"How, when, who, why, what, where?" Maddy asked. I laughed.
"It's a long story." I smiled, looking at the guys setting up.
