"Do we have to do this? I mean, it's swell and all but do you actually need to do all this?" Lucas whined to his sister who just chuckled as she straightened his red tie. They were currently in his room preparing for his official 'introduction to society' party. "You guys already made an announcement through media. Isn't that enough?"
"No it's not," the Kim matriarch interjected as Jisoo pushed her wheelchair and Yuqi walked next to her--the three women dressed in various shades of red. Lucas immediately walked over to kiss their grandmother's cheek and of course, his pregnant girlfriend's lips. "Kim's deserve the best and you're my grandson."
This made Lucas grimace and turn to his only sister for rescue.
"Relax, Luke. This is nothing compared to the engagement part halmeoni's planning for Yuqi and you," she teased.
"What? There's more?!"
The ladies burst out laughing including the ex-Chairwoman. Lucas groaned and kept whining about the extravagance of being a Kim and how he wanted to go back being a regular citizen.
"Lis, I saw this outside and it was addressed to you," Jisoo said handing her an envelope. "I didn't check who it's from so you better be cautious."
She opened it and a wide smile was drawn on her face as she read the content.
"Who's it from?" Lucas asked.
"Jungkook," she said--a smile still etched on her face. The younger guy grimaced. Even though they put everything behind them, the Jungkook and Lucas haven't quite warmed up to each other yet.
She then excused herself to find her son and of course, her dashing husband.
After Sooyoung's death, Joohyun was turned over to the authorities. But judging by her state of mind when the authorities came to collect her, it was advised for her to be brought into a psych ward rather than in prison. She agreed--much to Jungkook's annoyance and utter disbelief. However, the court did not allow Joohyun to attend her sister's funeral. Cruel but they cannot risk any more trouble.
"This isn't over. I will get my revenge."
Those final words from Joohyun made her shiver. It might've been an empty threat but, she can't be so sure. The woman managed to get a dead person's body buried into their home. Also, she managed to almost break Jungkook and her.
As she reached the end of the hallway, she noticed a couple of rose petals scattered all over the floor. Her heart fluttered. The trail led her to the wine cellar. Who knew her husband can be sentimental as fuck?
"Jungkook?"
"I'm so glad you can join me, Ms. Kim."

"What?! Joohyun escaped?!" Jungkook blurted out as soon as Yugyeom passed on the news from the authorities. A couple of police came with him to serve as added security for the family during the event. "And they chose to inform us just now?!"
"They told us as soon as they confirmed that Joohyun wasn't in the vicinity of the mental institution," Yugyeom explained. "Don't worry, Kook. There's more than enough security personnel roaming around the property to make sure you are all safe—"
"Jungkook, what's up?"
His head turned towards the newly arrived guests which was Yoongi, his girlfriend Nayeon and his brother, Namjoon.
Jungkook battled with himself whether or not to tell Yoongi about it. He knew nothing much except for the Lucas thing. He's still in the shadows with all the Joohyun thing. Though Lisa mentioned she needed to talk to the guy about it. As to why, he had no idea.
Maybe he should at least brief him about it.
"The psycho Joohyun escaped," he said as if it explained everything. Of course, Yoongi's forehead creased. But Namjoon looked stunned as if he knew who he was talking about.
"Joohyun? Who's Joohyun?"
"Lisa's been wanting to talk to you for weeks but she didn't have the time. You, know, the company, Lucas' transition into YK and all the planning for this party," he started. "I don't know if this had something to do with you or what but Joohyun is Sooyoung's sister. Jin's ex."
Yoongi's eyes grew wide. He threw a quick glance towards his brother then back at him. "B-Bae Sooyoung?"
He nodded. Aside from Lisa being busy, Yoongi, Nayeon and Namjoon were out on a trip to New York for the past weeks. They've actually just arrived back a few days ago.
"Joohyun was out for revenge towards the family and he wanted to get rid of Lisa. Long story short, Sooyoung is apparently alive and was just in coma until that day we caught Joohyun."
Namjoon fell on the floor with widened eyes—shocked out of his wits.
"Joon!"
They all crouched down to see if the guy was okay. Nayeon running to go get him some water.
"Namjoon? Are you okay?" Jungkook asked—multiple questions spurting inside his head.
"Jungkook... where's Lisa? I need to talk to her," the guy on the floor managed to say. "I... I..."
Jungkook understood. So this was why Lisa wanted to immediately talk to Yoongi.
He knew the reason why Yoongi and Namjoon needed to go to New York. It was to get treated. On what kind of treatment, he hd no idea. But now, he's guessing it had something to do with Bae Sooyoung.
"He's with Lucas," he said. "I can accompany you to him—"
"I thought she was with you?" Lucas suddenly spoke from behind him. Yuqi by his side. "You send her that note, right?"
"What note?"
Lucas and Yuqi eyes each other.
"The one Jisoo unnie found? The one in a red envelope," Yuqi explained.
"What? I didn't send her a note!"
Various emotions suddenly rose inside his chest. Joohyun's out on the loose and Lisa's missing. It meant only one thing: she's out to finish what she started.
"Lisa's in trouble," he said turning to Yugyeom. "We have to find her."

"Joohyun," Lisa carefully muttered as she took a few steps backwards. She was already inside the wine cellar and the brunette had managed to get herself a gun.
"You think I'm done with you?" she said with a very creepy smile plastered on her face. The way her hands grasped the gun made it clear that only one of them will come out alive of the old cellar. "You killed her. Your precious family took my sister away from me! You're all a bunch of murderers!"
"We didn't kill her!" she spat back. "Joohyun. Listen to me. What happened to your sister... it was all an accident. Nobody wanted her dead! Especially our family. We don't even know her that well."
"Liar!" she screamed pointing the gun closer to Lisa. "Your grandmother staged that car accident! Sooyoung would rather die than drive a car! She even bribed our parents with money just to get away with it!"
Lisa's mouth went agape as Joohyun revealed her grandmother's dark secret. She knew that her grandma took care of everything but she had no idea how. Now, it's clear to her.
Her grandmother staged a fake accident to get Namjoon off the hook. And to clear up her conscience, she paid the Bae's enough money to help Sooyoung.
"You... Your family took Sooyoung from me! You took her from me! You keep covering up the mistakes your family did over the years! You're a criminal!"
Lisa's hands trembled in fear--not for her sake but for Junghyun and Jungkook. She cannot leave her son without a mother. She simply can't.
"You're right," she said shocking the woman. She was clearly taken aback with her admission. "I'm a criminal. I do everything that I can for my family. Just like you."
Lisa took a deep breath before taking a small step forward.
"I'd do everything for the people I love. I will go through all length just to fight for them. To give them justice," she continued. "I understand you clearly now. I understand the anger you're feeling. The resentment. I know what you feel--"
"You know nothing!" the woman screamed. "You don't know how I feel! You didn't lose someone! You have no right--"
"It was me!"
Both heads turn towards the door as a panting Namjoon came into view. Sweat trickled down his forehead.
"Oppa no--"
"I... I'm the one responsible for her death. Not them. If you're to kill someone, it should be me not her--"
Lisa screamed as the loud bang of the gun echoed within the household. Namjoon fell on the ground as the bullet hit him. Joohyun's furious eyes darted at the man while she pointed her gun towards him--now aiming towards his head rather than his shoulder.
"You bastard!" the woman whose sanity somewhat left her spat. "You killed my sister! Murderer!"
"It was an accident!" Lisa yelled. "Oppa! Tell her it was. You didn't mean for her to fall on the rails!"
Namjoon winced as he tried to sit up--the pain of the gunshot on his arm intensified. But he ignored it. He tried to move closer to Sooyoung's sister.
"Don't hurt them," he begged. "Kill me. I am the one to blame. I did that to your sister."
"Oppa!"
"It wouldn't change a thing, Lisa!" he yelled. "I... No matter what I do, or say, it doesn't change the fact that I was the one responsible for her death. No matter how much I explain, it won't bring her back. It won't change a thing."
Joohyun's grasp on the gun grew tighter. She looked... confused. But something must've snapped. Joohyun's sharp gazes grew sharped and her finger made it's way to the trigger again. But a sudden gunshot stopped her. Joohyun winced in pain as blood oozed out of her shoulder.
"Jungkook!" she screamed and ran towards her husband. But the bitch had something else on her mind. She grabbed the lit up gas lamp and smashed it in between her and Jungkook. the floor immediately caught on fire making her fall back.
Joohyun grabbed her by her hair.
"If I die, you die with me!" she hissed.
"Not likely!" She hissed back as she tried to break free from Joohyun's strong grasp. Grabbing a wine bottle close to her reach, she swung it with all her might. A loud crash then a thud was heard before she felt the grasp on her hair loosen.
"Lisa!"
"Jungkook!"
Yugyeom wasn't able to grab Jungkook as he ran charging towards the cellar engulfed in flames. He was about to run after him but rubble caught on fire fell from the ceiling blocking his way. Yoongi pulled him back and both of them help Namjoon out of the now burning house.

Outside amidst the chaos, Yoongi, Nayeon, Yuqi, Lucas, Chaeyoung, Jimin, Hoseok, Jin, Taehyung, Jennie, Kim Daseom and Namjoon couldn't do anything but just watch as the Kim mansion caught on fire. Jisoo watched as the flames grew bigger. Joohyun did get her revenge.
