changbin, felix, minho, and jisung were all walking home together, talking about their school day along with how excited they are for summer to start up. felix suddenly got a facetime call from soojin, which he answered, as he wanted to make sure she was okay. changbin glanced over at felix, letting out a sigh while feeling his jealousy start to grow. felix continued to talk to the girl, including her into the conversation going on. however, once they reached jisung's house, he decided to end the call since he wanted to tell jisung goodbye.
felix stood at the end of the driveway with changbin, waiting for minho to finish telling his boyfriend goodbye.
"i don't know why you have to talk to her so much." changbin mumbled under his breath, catching felix's attention.
"what'd you say?" felix asked, genuinely unsure what changbin said.
changbin crossed his arms over his chest and rolled his eyes, looking at felix, "you know what i said."
"no i don't." the younger boy shook his head, "i couldn't hear you."
the elder boy let out a groan, turning to felix, "i said i don't know why you have to talk to her so much."
"soojin?" felix questioned, "she's my best friend, and i want to make sure she's okay and everything is good with her and mingyu."
"you could've just ended the call once you got your answer." changbin pointed out, "you didn't have to continue it."
"changbin, that's rude." felix furrowed his eyebrows, "i'm not going to just hang up on her when it's obvious she has more to share with me."
changbin rolled his eyes once more, "whatever." the boy glanced over, seeing minho walk over to them, "we'll talk about this later."
"what more about this is there to talk about?" the younger asked, "isn't it already solved?"
"what the hell did i just walk into and why is there tension?" minho questioned, slowing down his pace of walking.
"nothing, it doesn't matter." changbin responsed, starting to walk away from the two.
felix sighed out, walking over to changbin with his head down. minho joined the two, still confused on what could've happened while he was talking to jisung.
the rest of the walk home was quiet, which minho didn't like at all. the entire time they walked home, minho was trying to come up with possible conclusions as to why felix and changbin had sudden tension.

3:00 pm
it was now over a half an hour later, and changbin and felix were alone at the younger's house. felix sat on top of his bed, looking at changbin, "what more is there to talk about?"
"can't you fucking see?" changbin practically snapped at felix, which slightly scared him, "i'm jealous of soojin and the way you're always fucking talking to her and spending time with her." the boy confessed, "it's like you're fucking dating her instead of me."
felix sat in silence, looking at changbin with a saddened expression. the younger didn't know what to say, he didn't know what he could say. he knew changbin was already mad, and he didn't want to make it any worse.
"it honestly seems like you're fucking in love with her or some shit like that." changbin continued to talk, "constantly soojin this, soojin that, i love soojin."
"she's my best friend." felix mumbled, "she makes me really happy and is always there for me whenever i need it."
changbin rolled his eyes, "so, are you?" he questioned, "are you in love with her?"
"no, she's my best friend." the younger responded, "i love her, of course, but not like that."
"have you ever had a crush on her?" changbin interrogated the boy, which he hated.
"m-maybe." felix stuttered, quickly covering himself up, "i-it was only small, though! a-and it only lasted two days."
changbin stared at felix, his eyes practically burning through his soul. "that's a dick fucking move."
"it's not like i could help the way i felt." felix started to argue back, "besides, i didn't let it affect us."
"sure, you didn't let it affect us." he scoffed, "that's fucking bullshit. all you ever did was talk about her, and stay on calls with her and all this fucking shit." changbin shook his head, "i'm your boyfriend, and i'm the one you're dating, soojin isn't."
felix suddenly felt anger start to grow inside of him, as he remembered what he almost nearly forgot, "why the fuck are you getting so mad at me, huh?" he stood up, looking at changbin, "you're the one that nearly fucking dated hyunjin while we were dating."
changbin stopped for a moment, remembering the time period he liked hyunjin and hyunjin liked him back, "oh shit."
"yeah, oh shit is fucking right." felix shook his head, "i never got this worked up over the fact that you fucking wanted to try dating someone else. i never said shit about it because i wanted you to be fucking happy. i allowed you to go and fucking date him too, even though it's technically cheating considering both of us aren't into polygamy but guess what? i still fucking allowed it because i wanted you to be happy." the boy angrily sighed out, "you have no right of dragging soojin into this, knowing damn well she's taken by someone who she loves. even if i still had that tiny crush on her, it still would've meant nothing because i wouldn't fucking leave you the way you nearly left me."
"fuck." changbin cursed, feeling a wave of guilt hit him, "felix, i'm so sorry. i just, i've been holding things in for the longest time and it just finally started to unravel."
"that's so fucking hypocritical of you." felix crossed his arms, "you were the same person telling soojin that she shouldn't hold things in, considering communication is key, but look what you just fucking caused."
"i said i was sorry." changbin sighed out, "i've just been feeling like shit over this."
"and i felt like shit over you wanting to go after hyunjin, but did i ever say shit about it?" felix questioned, "did i, seo changbin?" he questioned again, "no, i fucking didn't. i've kept that shit to myself for the past fucking year because i didn't want to have you get upset with me for trying to kill your fucking happiness."
"why didn't you say anything?" changbin asked.
"because i didn't want to fucking lose you." tears hit felix as he raised his voice, knowing he hit his angry point, "i didn't want to fucking lose you, so i acted like i was okay and that i supported it."
changbin's expression softened at felix crying. the elder uncrossed his arms, wrapping them around the younger's waist, "baby, i'm sorry."
"nuh uh." felix immediately got out of changbin's grasp, moving to the other side of the room, "don't fucking touch me or try to "baby" your way out of this shit. you caused it, and now you're upset that it blew up in your face because of what past you wanted to do."
"felix, i'm sorry." the elder apologized again, "i'm shit, i know. but really, i'm sorry."
the younger shook his head, "just take your shit and leave. i don't want to be around you right now."
"we can work this out." changbin insisted.
"we'll work this out later." felix responded, "but for now, i don't want to deal with you after being hit with emotions i haven't felt since you told me you also liked hyunjin."
changbin sighed out, picking up his backpack, "i'm sorry, felix." he apologized once more, "i love you."
felix nodded his head, "i know, i love you." the boy paused, "even though i'm upset with you, you better not do any stupid shit because i love you and care for you more than anything, regardless of this situation. i promise we'll work it out, but for now, i just want to be alone."
changbin understood felix, respecting his decisions. the elder then left felix alone, where the younger broke down into tears after changbin left. he wasn't sure why he started crying, because there were so many reasons. of course he was upset about how they both kept their feelings to themselves, and how changbin was upset with him for feeling a certain way, but he felt more upset for fighting with the person he loved the most. it always took a toll on him whenever he and changbin fought, and even though they could've made up right on the spot, he still wanted to be alone just to process his own feelings. the younger pulled out his phone, wiping his tears.
