A/N: FLUFF!
Sad moments....
———
"Ouch!" I groaned when Natasha untied my long hair that was up to my waist.
She flipped her hair that was now on its natural hair color and blonde tips. Her hair was now like about at mid-shoulder. Honestly, this is one of her best looks.
"Stay still Y/N." Natasha said as she did two Dutch braids making me wince.
I raised my hand a bit and made a sea horse out of snow. I'm Elsa bitches.
"Ever since that immortality thing gave you new powers, you can't seem to stop making animals out of snow." Natasha said as she began to braid my right side of my hair.
After 10 minutes of what seemed like torture, I looked at myself in the mirror. Nice.
"Thanks Nat." I said as I took out my phone and she sat next to me.
I clicked on one video in which I didn't meant to click on and I put my hand on my mouth.
"Look at the camera Y/N!" Peter yelled at me as I was sitting on Aunt May's bed while I was going through my old phone.
"Why..." I replied making him chuckle.
"Becauseeeee I want to have fun! It's National Siblings Day!" Peter said and the camera flipped to view his face.
"Woahhh! Is this me?" Peter did a goofy smile and I smiled when I heard myself giggle.
"Oh brother..." I replied and he sat next to me.
"Look at the camera! Pretend it's a selfie!" Peter grinned as I rolled my eyes playfully and crossed my eyes.
"Oooo! That's so awesome!" Peter said and I kissed his cheek.
"I love you to the moon..." Peter smiled and looked over to me.
"I love you to the moon and back." I smiled at him.
The video stopped and my heart rate increased. I remember those short days that I had with him before leaving to Asgard.
"I miss him." I whispered.
"I know sweetie." Natasha cooed as I got up and changed my shirt.
"Let's go to see what the team has gathered." I told Natasha making her nod.
We walked towards the table in a room and Natasha walked away. She came back and sat down next to me on the table as she was cutting two breads with peanut butter filling into a couple of triangles. She gave me a Nutella jar with a spoon.
The holographic calls popped up from left to right. Nebula, Rocket, Okoye, Carol, and Rhodey.
"I like your tomboyish haircut Carol. I'm swooning." I said as I ate the Nutella from the spoon.
"Thanks." Carol winked.
"Yeah, we boarded that highly suspect warship that Danvers pinged." Rocket crossed his arms.
"It was an infectious garbage scowl." Nebula replied.
"So, thanks for the hot tip." Rocket turned to Carol while he replied with a smirk.
"Well, you were closer." Carol hissed.
"Yeah. And we smell like garbage." Rocket snapped back.
"Oh here we go.." I whispered while eating my Nutella.
"You got a reading on those tremors?" Natasha turned to Okoye.
"It was a mild subduction under the African plate." Okoye put her hands behind her back.
"Do we have a visual? How are we handling it?" Natasha asked as she took a drink from her iced tea.
"Nat, it was an earthquake under the ocean. We handle it by not handling it." Okoye smiled softly.
"Carol, are we seeing you here next month?" Natasha asked Carol.
"Not likely." Carol sighed.
"What, you gonna get a new haircut?" Rocket asked her after realizing that she got a new hair cut.
"Listen fur-face, I'm covering a lot of territory. The things that are happening on Earth, are happening everywhere, on thousands of planets." Carol said with an irritated tone.
"You took a point... you took a point." Rocket murmurs to himself and I giggled while I took a sip of my coke.
"So you might not see me for long time." Carol said making me sigh.
"Alright, um. Well, this channel is always active. So, if anything goes sideways... anyone's making trouble where they shouldn't... it comes through Y/N or myself." Natasha told the team.
"Okay." Rocket replies.
"Alright." I said while smiling a bit as one by one the team cut off their calls one by one.
"Good luck. Both of you." Carol said before she cut off her call.
Natasha sighs in exhaustion and I rubbed her shoulder. Both of us noticed that Rhodey was still online in the call. Oh god. This is the part where she cries... when I saw this part, I couldn't help but cry with her because she was taught how to hide her emotions.. oh Lord help me.
"Where are you?" Natasha asked Rhodey and I put my hand on my lap.
"Mexico. The federales found a room filled with bodies. Looks like a bunch of cartel guys. Never even had the chance to get their guns off." Rhodey informed us.
"It's probably a rival gang." I replied making Natasha nod with me.
"Except it isn't." Rhodey said and I looked to Natasha to notice that her face fell.
"It's definitely Barton. What he's done here, what he's been doing for the last few years... I mean, the scene that he left... I gotta tell you both, there's a part of me that doesn't even want to find him." Rhodey said.
I looked to Natasha again, seeing now that she had teared up. She tries to chew her tears and emotional feelings as she eats one part of her sandwich.
"Oh Nat..." I whispered making her shake her head slowly.
"Will you find out where he's going next?" Natasha looked up at Rhodey.
"Nat.." Rhodey trailed off.
"Please." Natasha said once again.
"Okay." Rhodey reluctantly said before cutting off his call.
"Come here." I whispered as I opened my arms.
She starts to cry as soon as her face was on my shoulder as she tries to hold back her tears. I held her tightly into my hug causing her to cry even harder making my heart ache.
"You were there for me through my hardest times. Now I'm here for you to return the favor. I love you so much Nat. You are like the older sister that I've never had before." I said out loud making her cry harder and nodded.
"You know I'd offer to cook dinner for you both but you both seem miserable already." A voice said out of nowhere and Natasha pulled away from my hug and wiped her tears while I rubbed her arm.
We both saw Steve slumped over a bookshelf, with his arms both crossed.
"You're here to do your laundry?" Natasha asked him.
"Or are you here to watch a movie?" I asked.
"I'm here to see both of my friends." Steve said making me sigh.
"Clearly, both of your friends are fine." Natasha said making him smile.
"You know, I saw a pod of whales when I was coming up the bridge." Steve told us as Natasha ate her sandwich.
"In the Hudson?" I asked him.
"There's fewer ships, cleaner water." Steve smiles.
"You know, if you're about to tell me or her to look on the bright side... um.. I'm about to hit you in the head with my peanut butter sandwich." Natasha grinned.
"And I'll throw you my Nutella jar. No wait. My Nutella jar is special so no." I said but then chuckled when Steve laughed while putting his right hand over his left side of his chest.
Steve walked over to us and sat down while throwing his jacket on the chair next to him.
"Sorry.. force of habit. You know, I keep telling everyone they should move on and grow. Some do... but not us." Steve looked at both of us making me blink.
"If I move on, if Y/N moves on... who does this?" Natasha asked.
"Maybe it doesn't need to be done." Steve replied making me sigh.
"I used to have nothing. Then I got this. This job. This family. And I was... better because of it. And even though... they're gone... I'm still trying to be better." Natasha gave Steve a weak smile as I wiped away a few tears that fell from my face.
Now that's an A+ character development.
"The only family that I have is you guys and the ones that are gone... meanwhile I'm still stuck on two people that I love and deeply care about. It fucking sucks." I said as I continued to wipe away the remaining tears.
"All of us need to get a life." Steve smiled.
Natasha wiped her tears as well and smiled at me and then at Steve.
"You first." Natasha smiled at Steve.
My phone buzzed and I looked to the text that dad sent me:
Morgan misses you.
I stood up and got my jacket while putting my boots on.
"I'm leaving. I'll be back soon. Scott is going to appear sooo yeah." I told Steve and Natasha as I opened up a portal and walked inside of it.
~~~~
I felt the leaves crunch underneath me as I walked over to Tony who was sitting on the steps of his front porch.
"Hey dad." I said while he smiled and stood up so that he could hug me.
"Hey sweet pea." He smiled while kissing my cheek.
"Where is Morgan?" I asked while both of us walked slowly toward's Morgan's tiny tent.
"It's Morgoona. And she is hiding. She wants me to find her." Tony smirked making me chuckle.
"I love her so much. I remember when she was just a newborn and Steve, Natasha and I were by the hospital bed as all of us got our turns to hold her. How time flies by." I smiled to the ground.
"Yeah. I agree." Tony chuckled.
Both of us sat down on two tiny chairs that was outside of her tent.
"Chow time! Morgoona? Morgan H. Stark. Want some lunch?" Tony asked the little girl that was still inside the tent.
"Morgan. Little sister.." I sang and I heard footsteps coming out of the tent.
"Define lunch or be disintegrated." Morgan said as she put her tiny hand in front of her with a blue Iron Man helmet.
"Tony Stark's daughter ladies and gentleman. Huge vocabulary words for a four year old." I said making Tony playfully punch my arm.
"You should not be wearing that, okay? That is part of a special anniversary gift I'm making for mom." Tony told her as he gently took off the helmet off Morgan's head.
"Okay." She said.
She smiled mischievously at Tony and then squealed when she saw me.
"Y/N!" She said making my heart melt from her cuteness.
"Morgan!" I said as I opened my arms and she ran into them while giving me a tight hug.
"Oh my gosh. This is the best hug yet!" I smiled when she giggled
"There you go. Are you thinking about lunch? Want a handful of crickets?" Tony asked Morgan making me shoot a playful glare at him.
"No." She said while she played with my fingers.
"That's what you want. How did you find this?" Tony asked Morgan as he held up the blue Iron Man helmet.
"Garage." Morgan replied making me smile when she continued to play with my fingers.
"Really? Were you looking for it?" Tony asked her.
"No. I found it though." Morgan said making me coo at her cuteness.
"You like going to the garage, huh? So does daddy. It's fine, actually. Your mom never wears anything I buy her." Tony said before standing up as he held out his hand so that Morgan could take it.
I stood up and chuckled when I saw Morgan telling Tony that she didn't want to go with him.
"I want to go with Y/N." Morgan said making Tony gasp.
"Her? Why?" He frantically put his hand on his chest making Morgan and I giggle.
"Tell dad I'm better than him Morgan." I whispered.
"She's better than you. Sorry." Morgan said as she held my hand and all of us walked back to the house.
"I feel so offended. My daughters.." Tony said making me laugh.
When we arrived at the front porch, I picked up Morgan and placed her on my hip while she played with my braids.
Tony and I noticed a black Audi pulling, then coming to a stop a few meters away. Steve, Natasha, and Scott got out of the car. Tony sighed making me kick his leg.
"Hey." I smiled at Steve, Natasha and Scott while Tony shook his head.
