Tony got off the ship, his heart heavy. He just lost the kid. He closed his eyes briefly before looking up at the others. Steve let out a relieved sigh and helped his friend into the HQ.
Tony sat down as Bruce gave him some medical attention. Nebula sat next to him, along with Rhodey. Tony looked around and raised a brow confusingly. Nebula took notice and walked over to Steve.
"Mr. Rogers,"
"You can call me Steve," He corrected and she nodded.
"Well, Steve, While on the ship. Tony kept talking about Y/N, and how much he misses her. I wanted to ask if she was here?" Nebula asked, and Steve's face turned serious. He swallowed thickly and shook his head.
"Hey Steve!" Tony yelled weakly. A small smile on his face as he looked around the tower for any sight of you. Rhodey put a hand onto his shoulder and shook his head. "Where's Y/N?"
Steve stared at him and shook his head. An apologetic look in his eyes. Tony frowned and his eyes watered.
"No, she can't.."
Rhodey and Nebula tried to comfort him as he had his breakdown.
"First Peter, Now Y/N?" He asked wildly and tears started to come down his cheeks. He had no one left.
"I'm sorry Tony,"
"Sorry for what?!" Tony snapped and got up. Steve glanced at the others. Natasha tried to help Tony stand down.
"None of this would've happened if you just listened to me!" Tony shouted at the soldier. Steve narrowed his eyes at him but sighed. Tony's eyes widen at what he just said. It sounded so familiar.

If you even cared, you'd actually be here.
Tony broke down and Steve hugged him without a hesitation. Tony sobbed into Steve's shoulder as Steve sighed.
"I should've saved them." Steve shook his head.
"We couldn't save them Tony." Steve reassured and Tony regained his composure. He looked at the team around him and chuckled pathetically.
"We are the suckiest heroes in the world."
"Except you Nat, you're an angel and everyone loves you."

Tony grinned at Steve as they stepped onto the platform. He was ready to go back in time and save the universe. He had nothing else to do for those past five years. He was alone with Natasha in the tower the whole time. He helped her out when she was feeling down, along with Steve.
They pressed the buttons on their suits and were sent to a different time. Tony opened his eyes and saw the world around him.
New York 2012
Steve, Scott, and Bruce all got ready. Tony put on a shield outfit and got ready. He slipped the overly large helmet on. Scott shrunk and sat on Tony's shoulder.
"Alright we got our teams. Let's do this," He established and everyone went to get their assigned stone. Tony sped walk upstairs towards the stone, so he could have a visual on it.
"Mr. Rogers, I almost forgot that, that suit, did nothing for your ass." Tony commented as Steve rolled his eyes over the comms.
"No one asked you to look Tony."
"It's ridiculous."
"I think you look great Cap. As far as I'm concerned, that's America's Ass," Scott said proudly. Tony snorted and started to follow himself with the suitcase.
He wasn't paying attention and bumped into someone. He mumbled a curse and tried to pick up the files that were on the ground.
"I'm so sorry," He groaned and looked up. His hands slipped and his eyes widen.
"Tony?" Your 2012 self asked. Tony was frozen, he felt his chest tighten.
"Calm down Tony," Scott said. Tony ignored him and stood up staring at you.
"I thought you went downstairs?" Your 2012 self said and Tony shook his head. His eyes glazing over as he stared at you. He was speechless, and he gulped audibly.
"I..I was," He managed to croak out. You smiled at him and he tackled you into a hug. Scott worriedly waited for him to stop so they could retrieve the stone. Your 2012 self felt Tony sob quietly against your shoulder.
"I love you," Tony croaked out, his eyes gleamed with new tears. Your 2012 self looked at him worriedly.
"Tony are you ok?" 2012 you asked. Tony nodded and wiped away his tears. He kissed your forehead lovingly.
"I love you so much, remember that," He mumbled and ran off.

"This is nice," Peter said as Tony hugged the boy he once lost. Tony was beyond thrilled to have the boy back, he kissed his cheek affectionately.
"I missed you, son," Tony mumbled and Peter's eyes widen.
"I missed you too....Dad."
"That's cute."
Tony tensed and separates from Peter. He gulped audibly and his gaze was now on you. You smiled at him and jumped down next to them.
"Y/N, oh god," He murmured and grabbed your cheeks as he kissed you passionately. Peter had tears coming down his cheeks, happy his family was back together again. He couldn't wait to see May again.
Tony finally pulled away, and he caresses your cheek with his thumb. His chin quivered with happy tears, as he gazed at your alive figure.
"We're safe. Nothing can go wrong,"

"I am Inevitable," Thanos proudly murmured looking at all of you. A smirk played onto his lips as he brought his hand out, ready to snap. He snapped, the sound of metal on metal echoed, but nothing happened.
Everyone gasped and gave each other questioning looks.
"Mr. Stark..."
Everyone turned to see Tony on his knees. His head thrown back as the power of the infinity stones seared through his suit. He looked up at the titan as you ran over to him.
"Are you stupid?!" You shrieked, holding his hand in yours. Tony looked at you with a small smile.
"I have to."
You nodded as tears made their way down your cheeks. You stood off to the side and Tony smirked up at Thanos.
"And I.....am......Iron Man," Tony said and snapped his fingers. The sound of his gauntlet echoed,
Nothing happened.
Tony's eyes widen and he looked at his hand. The infinity stones were gone. Tony whipped his head around to see you with the stones in your hand. A wicked grin played onto your lips.
"Enough said."
You snapped, and the whole world flashed before Tony's eyes. Tony screamed and ran over to you. He sobbed as he ran faster, even though his body ached. He held your limp figure in his arms, he sobbed harder.
Steve, and the others ran over. Steve let tears come down his cheeks as Peter walked over to you.
"Y/N?" He asked and crouched next to you. Peter's body finally racked with sobs as the death set in.
"Y/N, no, not you too," Clint cried and wiped away his tears. Tony kissed your forehead
softly and Steve helped pick you up.

The funeral was like any other. All the Avengers, Guardians, and many more attended. Harley even made an appearance, paying his respects for you. It was a memorial for you and Natasha.
Everyone cried and couldn't keep it together. Especially Tony. He had spent the last five years with Natasha alone in the tower. When everyone left, he had talked to her. She had help him through everything. Tears came down his cheeks, with no sign of stopping.
And now she was gone and so were you.
