You were shivering violently as you stood underneath a booth set up by the crew members. One of the directors was standing off to the side, his scarf wrapped tightly around his neck as he kept grumbling under his breath about how the crappy weather was pushing filming back another day, so it'd either be to shoot the next scene in the rain or to cancel filming today altogether.
Adjusting your beanie, you brought your hands up to your mouth and blew hot air onto them, hoping to warm yourself up a bit. But that didn't really seem to do anything.
Currently, you were in the middle of shooting a new Spider-Man movie with your best friend and co-star, Tom Holland, and Mother Nature decided to pay a little unfriendly visit with an abnormally chilly day. It sucked.
"My god," you muttered, slipping your hand in the pocket of your jeans to check your phone for the weather.
10 degrees. Wonderful.
And it was only mid-November.
As of right now, it just seemed like everyone was focusing on warming up instead of proceeding on with the filming. You sat down in one of the fold-up chairs, wrapping your arms tighter around yourself in an attempt to hold in your body heat. Your teeth began chattering from the bitter cold, and it felt as if the rain was trying to lash out at and whip your nose with its icy sting.
Out of the corner of your eye, you saw Tom standing there, looking rather warm in his thick parka and gloves. You looked at him in envy, wishing that you hadn't forgotten to bring along your coat.
He then proceeded to shrug his jacket off, and you were about to question him on what he was doing, before he came up behind you and draped it around your shoulders. You were enveloped with a sudden, comforting warmth and the smell of his cologne, and let out a sigh.
"Wait, but Tom, what if you get cold---" you began to protest.
"I'm fine, I have a sweater and then another layer underneath that. You need it more than I do, so just keep it on," he insisted.
"You're going to catch a cold!"
"And so will you, if you don't put a jacket on. Zip it up, okay?" He put a hand on your shoulder and you nodded, so you zipped up his jacket all the way and flipped the hood on over your head.
"Thank you," you mumbled.
He sat down in the chair next to you and wrapped an arm around your waist in response, pulling you to him.
Even when you stood up to go inside, he didn't loosen his grip on you, just kept his arm around you as you walked back inside, since the crew had decided it'd be better to cancel filming and hang out for the rest of the day.
Since you had the rest of the day off, but couldn't leave the set, you decided to chill out with Zendaya and Jacob in your trailer.
"So, seeing that we all got invites...are we going to the Met Gala?" you asked everyone.
"Mhm. Speaking of that..." Zendaya hummed, examining her fingernails. "You guys have something to wear? Y/N and I already bought our dresses."
"Sure did," the boys replied in unison.
"Well then, that only leaves one thing."
"What's that?" you questioned.
"You boys have a date?"
"I'm going with my mom," Jacob stated proudly. "Because I don't need a girl."
"Don't have a date," Tom shrugged, causing your heart to flutter with excitement. You wanted to go with him...but you didn't even have the courage to ask.
"I think I know who you can go with, Y/N, I've found the perfect person for you," Zendaya nudged you in the shoulder, raising her eyebrows up and down.
"Who?" You tried to act oblivious but the blush was creeping up your cheeks anyways.
"You know who," she giggled, giving you the 'look'.
"Oh!" you exclaimed. "What? No! They're not going to---"
"Uh huh, they will. You know perfectly well that they will."
You exchanged a glance with an equally confused Tom, shooting him a flirty grin and he smiled right back at you, making that fluttering feeling resurface in your stomach.
The two others took notice of your subtle flirting, however, and took this opportunity to say something.
"Peterman! Firegirl!" Jacob interrupted, using your characters' names. "Are we going to vote on what food we're going to have delivered over here or what? Or are you guys just going to keep staring at each other with those puppy eyes?"
Both of you blinked and snapped your heads over to him, "What?" you said at the same time.
"O-oh, uh..." the suddenly nervous actor spluttered. "We nominate..."
"Mcdonald's," you finished for him.
"Okay, weirdos," Zendaya rolled her eyes, and picked up her phone to call one of the crew members.

Once the food came, you pulled out all the chairs up to the coffee table, sitting around and discussing what would happen at the upcoming Met Gala.
"Pass me the chicken nuggets, JB," you gestured for Jacob to hand you the box of nuggets. When got the box, you took out another piece and took a small bite, setting it back down once you did so.
"My dress is black," Zendaya explained. "Because black always works for everything."
"I'm not giving mines away," you stated firmly, "it's going to be a surprise."
"IS IT A CHICKEN NUGGET COSTUME?" she perked up excitedly.
"No. You literally bought the dress with me," you sighed. "Don't be a Jacob."
"Hey!" Jacob overheard what you said. "I'm super amazing, thank you very much!"
So that started an argument over who was the best friend and person in general.
And after an intense round of Uno where he kept getting repeatedly hit with +4 and reverse cards, Jacob just decided to focus the majority of his attention on his Big Mac.
"We've decided to restart filming, get ready in fifteen minutes, guys," your manager called outside your door. "Starting with that kiss scene. Y/N and Tom, you know your places."
"HA! I CALLED IT! I KNEW YOU WERE GOING TO KISS SOON!" Jacob yelled. "I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT TO COME!"

That scene took much longer than you'd originally thought it to be.
Now, you were on your eleventh take. It was taking nearly an hour to get you guys under control. Both you and Tom were unable to control your laughing, so every time before your lips touched you'd burst into uncontrollable laughter.
"One more time!" Anthony Russo clapped his hands. "Stop goofing around, kids, or I'll drag the Infinity War cast in here to watch you if I need to!"
"Too late, I got them already," Joe Russo, the other director, shouted over from across the set. Behind them was in fact, some of the IW cast.
"Hey there," all three Chrises, RDJ, Jeremy, Anthony, and the Avengers actors greeted.
"Okay, so listen up! From the top! Lights, camera...action!" the directors yelled.
You two had no problem with line memorization, but your heart was pounding wildly as you grew closer to that big scene. You couldn't hear anything, it seemed, because your heartbeat was so loud, drowning out the sound of everything surrounding you.
Then you felt Tom step towards you, placing his hands on your hips. His touch ignited a fire in your body, a feeling that you'd never felt before, up until now, and frankly, it scared you.
He tilted your chin up with his finger, forcing you to gaze up into his eyes, and that's when you forgot about all the people around you. That was when you felt like it was just the two of you standing, then and there, and it was almost...comforting.
Before you could fully process what was going on, his lips were on yours, soft and gentle, and it took nearly all your willpower not to smile into the kiss. You wrapped your arms tighter around him and kept telling yourself that this was just an act, that it wasn't real...but your heart said otherwise.
All too soon, it was over, and you pulled apart from each other, breathless.
"Great work, kids. I'm surprised you didn't goof off this time," Joe congratulated.
"Can I do that again?" Tom looked at you hopefully.
"You don't even need to ask," you smirked, tugging him back towards you to press your lips against his again.
"LET'S GO SPIDER-MAN!" the guys on the side yelled. (Chris Pratt and RDJ were yelling the loudest.)
"Do you want to go to the Met Gala with me? As a date?" he offered.
"Yeah, I'd love to," you said as you laced your fingers with his.
