Word Count: 2300
You sat at a table in the camp, cleaning your gun. It had been a challenge convincing Arthur that you were capable enough to do the same job he does but you managed it. You had wanted to help him and the other men with jobs for a long time and when you finally got the chance, you finally proved yourself. However, another motivation behind you proving yourself was to impress a certain member of the gang.
Micah Bell often talked about people being parasites, using up the camp's resourcing without giving anything back. You didn't agree with him but you wanted to prove to him that you deserved to be here. Yes, you had a crush on Micah Bell. Don't worry, you know it's completely ridiculous but the heart wants what the heart wants, you guess. Unfortunately, Micah didn't even seem to notice your knew position in camp.
You busied yourself with cleaning the gun, humming to yourself quietly. You were so focused that you didn't even notice the person approaching you.
"Ah, there you are Little Morgan" Micah smirked as he approached you, using the nickname that he had given you a while ago. He knew that annoyed you and Arthur so he continued to use it.
"You can just call me Y/N, y'know..." you sighed, keeping your attention on the gun in your hands, wondering if Micah would only ever see you as Arthur's little sister.
"Y'know, watching you with that gun has got me thinking" he hummed as he leaned against the table, looking down at you. Something about the look in his eyes reminded you of how the predator would stare down their prey, yet it didn't seem as threatening to you as it probably should.
"Thinking? About what?" you asked, lowering your gun and turning your attention to him. You couldn't help but notice the mischievousness in his eyes.
"I like a woman who can handle herself" Micah's smirk remained on his face as he gaze roamed your body. It didn't gross you out like people thought it might, but it did make you blush lightly.
Micah had made some flirtatious comments in the past but no more than he gave the other women in the camp, he never seemed to pay any special attention to you. Maybe things were changing, and you didn't mind at all. You just hoped that he wasn't completely messing with you.
"Well...I can handle myself just fine, Mr Bell" you smiled, knowing that you were encouraging his advances.
"I'm sure you can" the outlaw's smirk grew as he lent closer to you, noticing that you weren't making any effort to move away from him.
"Hey! Leave her alone" Arthur snapped as he walked over to the both of you, completely ruining the moment. You held back a small sigh, not wanting your brother to see your disappointment.
"Whoa, calm down there, Cowpoke. I ain't doing anything wrong" Micah assured him with an amused look on his face as he pushed himself away from the table.
"You're always doing something wrong, Micah" Arthur rolled his eyes, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Very well, see ya around Y/N" Micah nodded at your brother before letting his gaze linger on you, which you pretended not to notice. You couldn't help but smile at the fact that Micah used your real name instead of the nickname he had christened you with. You and Arthur watched Micah walk away before your brother turned to you.
"If he is bothering you, just tell me and I'll deal with him" Arthur reminded you, he had always told you to tell him if Micah was speaking to you. You knew that Arthur didn't trust him with anything, especially not his little sister. You were pretty sure that Arthur still saw you as a child.
"Thanks Arthur" you smiled at him, you really did appreciate that he wanted to protect you but you were sure that if Arthur had it his way you would be single forever.
Arthur walked away and you returned to cleaning your gun. You felt eyes on you so you looked up to find that Micah was watching you. You smiled to your self, hanging your head slightly to hide your blush, Micah noticed that and it just made him smirk some more.

You had been out of the camp all day with Arthur, doing a job for Dutch. Afterwards, Arthur had taken you to the saloon for a drink to congratulate you on a job well done. You knew that Arthur knew that you were capable, he just wanted to keep you safe and protect you. You and Arthur had been as close as siblings could be since you lost your parents, then you met Dutch and Hosea, it was natural that Arthur worried about you.
Everybody had gone to sleep but you just couldn't sleep, there was still adrenaline coursing through you from the job. So you left your tent, walking over to the camp fire. You paused when you saw Micah sitting at the fire already, he hadn't seemed to notice you. You weighed your options before just deciding to join him at the fire.
You walked over to the camp fire, you didn't sit right next to Micah but you sat close enough that you could talk to him if you wanted too.
"Little Morgan? What are you doing up?" Micah asked, looking over at you with a slightly furrowed brow.
"Sorry, I didn't realise anyone else would be awake. I just couldn't sleep" you shrugged, staring into the fire.
"You ain't got nothing to apologise for, I was just asking ya a question" he muttered, turning his attention back to the fire.
"So...why are you awake, Micah?" you asked, finally looking over at him, deciding to make the most of having some time alone with him.
"Couldn't sleep either...and you shouldn't call me that, people might get the wrong idea" Micah warned you, almost playfully, as he looked back at you.
"And what's that?" you asked, raising an eyebrow at him.
"That you actually like me" he chuckled, waiting for some sort of reaction out of you.
"...maybe I do like you" you replied quietly with a soft shrug before looking away from him.
Micah looked at you with an amused smile before you both sat in silence. The silence wasn't uncomfortable but it wasn't completely comfortable either. Maybe it was all in your head but there as a light tension in the air.
The cool night air blew around you, making you shiver, and you cursed yourself for not grabbing something to keep you warm. You should have brought a coat or something.
"Cold?" Micah asked, surprising you a little bit.
"Uh, yeah, a little" you nodded, not wanting to make a big deal out of it.
"Here" you heard him mumbled. You turned to Micah curiously and your eyes widened slightly when you saw him holding his black coat out to you. "Do you want it or not?" Micah asked, huffing slightly like he was pretending not to care.
"Thank you" you smiled softly as you took the coat from him, he just nodded at you.
You wrapped the coat around your shoulder, instantly feeling warmer. You smiled to yourself without even realising it. Maybe he wasn't as bad as everyone said. Maybe you weren't insane for having a crush on Micah Bell.
The pair of you sat in silence for a while, both of you genuinely enjoying each other's company even if you weren't speaking. Eventually you felt yourself growing tired so you handed him his coat back before saying your good-nights and returning to your tent. However, you didn't notice the way that Micah watched you walking away.
You had captured Micah's attention a long time ago and his interest in you only grew when you started going on jobs with the men, proving that you were more than capable. The only problem was that you are a Morgan...Arthur Morgan's sister!

A few members of the camp had brought Sean back to the camp and the gang was having a little party to celebrate. Everyone was having a good time, everyone was drinking, Javier was playing guitar at the campfire, people were dancing to the music coming from Dutch's tent.
The noise of the camp was giving you a little bit of a headache so you decided to take your drink and get away from the camp. You walked away from the camp, standing where you could observe the party from a quieter place.
You smiled to yourself as you lent back against the tree behind you, watching the gang members at the party.
"What are you doing back here?" Micah asked, somehow sneaking up on you from behind. You jumped at the sound of his voice as you turned to face him, making him chuckle.
"Just got a bit of a headache..." you told him as you relaxed back against the tree again.
"Mind if I keep ya company?" he asked. Hmm, so now he was being polite?
"I don't mind at all" you smiled at him, happy to have his company.
"I bet your brother doesn't know that you have a thing for me" Micah hummed as he tilted his head, his words making you still and almost drop your beer.
"What?" you asked with wide eyes. "I don't have 'a thing' for you" you scoffed, trying to act casual as you rolled your eyes and looked away from him, but Micah saw your cheeks turning pink.
"Sure you don't" he chuckled to himself, clearly enjoying getting you flustered.
"I don't" you insisted stubbornly as you turned back to face him, crossing your arms over your chest.
"You could have fooled me" he continued to tease you as he placed his hand on the tree beside your head, leaning towards you so his body towering was over yours.
"Maybe you're just easy to fool" you teased, holding your head high and pretending that he wasn't having any affect on you. You were trying so hard not to think about how his body towered over you and how close he was getting to you, you were definitely trying not to think about the warmth coming from him.
"I definitely like you more than your brother. You're smarter, funnier, and a whole lot prettier" Micah commented, shifting a little closer to you. His comment made you laugh softly, and that made him smile.
"Well, thank you. You aren't that bad either" you smiled up at him, reaching out and mindlessly playing with one of the buttons on his coat.
"I'm glad to here that" he hummed, glancing down to watch your fingers playing with his coat button, finding the action kinda cute and very endearing.
Micah looked back up and met your gaze, there was a moment of you both just looking at each other. Partially forgetting about how close he was as you tried to figure out what he was thinking, he was doing the same thing. You were the one person that he didn't want to scare away.
"Are you going to kiss me or just stand there like an idiot?" you asked with a new found confidence, you had enough of dancing around Micah instead of just going for what you wanted.
"I swear you used to be more shy than this" Micah said, obviously surprised by your change in demeanour but not disappointed with it.
"Maybe I've had enough of waiting, or maybe it's the alcohol...so, are you going to do it? Oh, or are you scared that my brother is going to kick your ass?" you asked with a small laugh, perfectly aware that you were trying to get under his skin.
"I am not scared of your brother" Micah practically growled as he moved closer, his chest almost touching yours.
"Prove it" you breathed out, his proximity making you feel small and nervous.
Micah just smirked before leaning down and pressing his lips against yours. His lips were a little softer than you thought they would be but they were still chapped. The kiss was rough and deep, all the pent up sexual tension being released.
The beer bottle fell from your hand, hitting the forest floor, before your wrapped your arms around Micah neck. You hands landed on the back of his neck to pull him closer, his chest pressed against yours.
One of Micah's hands held the back of your head, his fingers tangled in your hair as he deepened the kiss. His other hand holding your waist to hold your body against his. Your body was pinned between the tree and Micah, and you didn't mind at all. It felt good to know that Micah was attracted to you as well, it just felt good to be kissing him.
-----
It was the morning after Sean's party. You and Micah hadn't done anything past kissing last night but you couldn't help but wonder what that would mean for today. After Micah kissed you, you returned to your tent for the night, and you totally weren't smiling like an idiot because your crush kissed you.
"Mornin' Y/N" Arthur greeted you as approached him at the camp fire.
"Morning Arthur" you smiled as you sat down beside your brother, listening to Javier mindlessly plucking at his guitar strings.
You looked up and your gaze settled on Micah, who was walking towards the camp fire. Your cheeks heated up when he sent you a wink, before he casually sat down at the fire. You sent him a small smile and Micah couldn't help but smirk at the fact your brother was sitting right beside you, completely oblivious.
