The first thing I notice when my mind starts to clear of sleep is the warmth I feel. It feels as though I am in a cocoon and I can't help but snuggle in deeper. What pulls from sleep completely is the warm arm that pulls me in deeper. I smile slightly remembering the night before and who I am with. As my mind clears I fully wake to the sunlight streaming in through the large windows. I sigh as I turn to look at Ares's sleeping face, his features look so much softer it makes him seem almost childlike.
I guess he feels my movement because he starts to stir slowly coming out of his slumber. He opens one eye and when he sees me looking a small smile forms on his face and closes his eye back. He lowers his head into my neck and breathes in.
"Good-morning", he says with sleep in voice and kisses my neck then pulls even further into his chest
I giggle and go into his embrace willingly, " Good-morning"
"How long have you been up?", he says as I feel him put his face into my hair
"Just a few moments", I say back a smile forming on my face
This moment feels so natural between us like this is the way we should wake up every morning, locked in each-others embrace. I can feel his breath blowing against my hair and it makes the moment even more intimate, for another couple of minutes we stay just like that enjoying each others warmth and presence.
"I want to feed you breakfast", he says into the comfortable silence
"Do you now?", I say closing my eyes again
"I do, now wait here and just be beautiful", he says as he pulls away from me and sits up taking the warmth with him
I moan at the loss and watch him reach down pulling on the pants he had on when we went to bed last night. He stands and heads toward the door but not before kissing me on the head then lips. I smile as I watch his strong back walk out of the room. After a few seconds I let out a girly squeal of excitement
"I can't believe this is happening", I say into the empty room. I can't wait to tell the girls about how amazing this night has been and how amazing this man is. I sigh and look out into the view of downtown LA. I am waiting for the moment where I wake up in my bed at home and this was all just a drunken fantasy.
I pinch myself just to make sure, "Ow! That hurt"
I rub the spot on my arm while a large smile breaks out on my face as the moment really starts to sets in. I am in a beautiful apartment, with a beautiful man, and said man is in his kitchen making me breakfast after giving me the best sex of my life.
I lay back looking up at the ceiling sighing happily.
After about 30 minutes I hear Ares's footsteps coming down the hall. I sit up carefully pulling the sheet with me to cover my naked body. When he enters the room I smile up at him as he walks closer to the bed with a plate of food.
"Thank you", I say as he lays the plate in my lap
"I didn't want to keep you waiting long so I just toast, bacon, eggs, and potatoes", he says handing me afork
"That sounds like more than enough for me and this is more than enough food to feed one person, but I have to tell you I am not the biggest fan of eggs so you will have to share with me" , I say looking down at the plate of food and back at him
"I think we can work something out", he says back jokingly
"I forgot your drink I'll be right back", and with that he heads back out into the hallway
I pick up the fork and take the first bite and I moan so loud that I am again glad he doesn't have any neighbors. The food taste so fresh that I have no choice but to try and shove and entire length of bacon in my mouth at once.
"I thought we were sharing?", Ares says as he makes his way into the room
I am enjoying the food so much that I didn't even notice his return
"I change my mind this food is way to good to just give away for free, but you can still have the eggs", I say with a giggle
"I am only gone for a minute and your loyalties have already changed", he says as he sits the juice on the night stand and makes his way to other side of the bed
"Maybe you shouldn't have left me alone, I am easily swayed when delicious food is involved", I say then shove another large bit of food into my mouth
"Good to know that food is the way into your heart", he says coming closer and kissing my chewing cheek attempting to take a piece of food from plate
"Now your trying to get on my bad side", I say with a playful glare moving the plate from reach
Before he can make a response we hear a telephone ring from somewhere in the house. Ares's face changes instantly like he recognizes the tone and knows who's on the other line. He kisses my neck without another word and heads out of the room to answer the device.
"I wonder who it is, his mood changed instantly", I say to myself and then keep eating my breakfast
A few minutes later I hear Ares walking back toward the bed room. And I can hear the ending of his tense conversation.
"Just get it done before get there, I don't need excuses. Se arrivo lì e la situazione non è gestita, perderai un occhio."
I don't understand the last part but based on his tone I don't really want to be know or have it directed at me. He hangs up the phone as steps into the room fully.
"Sorry about that Cara, people at work aren't getting things done", he says slightly on edge
"Its ok I understand, do you have to head into the office or something", I say sitting the plate on side table and picking up the glass of orange juice
"Sadly yes, we have something big coming up and I need to make sure everyone is doing their job correctly", He says and I nod understandingly
"How about we take a shower together and then you can take me home?" I say with a lustful look on my face
"I like this plan a-lot", he says with equally darkening eyes
He walks over to the bed and yanks the cover back exposing my naked body and I let out a little screech. He scoops me up in a fireman hold and heads toward the bathroom, I giggle and hold onto his neck tightly.
He sits me on the edge if the massive tub and heads over and cuts on the massive shower.
He looks back at me as he takes off his shorts and then reaches his hand out for me to grab. I take it with out hesitation and he pulls me into the warm spray.
After a good 45 mins we emerge into the foggy bathroom and he hands me a white fluffy towel from a hook near the shower. He wraps it around me and pulls me into him and I let out a little laugh.
He kisses my head then lets go reaching for another towel for himself. I walk to toward the mirror and run a hand through my wet hair.
"My hair is going to be so frizzy when it dries", I say pouting at my reflection
"Frizzy but beautiful", Ares says coming up behind me and I smile up at him in the mirror
I reach for the tooth brush I left on the counter and go about brushing my teeth as Ares pulls his out of the holder. After I am done I look for a hair tie and throw my hair up into a messy bun. As we are getting ready we are moving so naturally that you would think I had been living with him for months.
"Let me get you something to leave in", he says and walks out of the room
I coat myself in some lotion that he left out on the counter for me and smells exactly like him and it makes me really want to steal the stuff. He comes back with a pair of grey sweat pants and black hoody and I take them thankfully.
"Thank you", I say as I reach up and plant a chaste kiss on his mouth
He leans into the kiss and walks back out the room which I am assuming is to get dressed for the day. I take off the towel and slowly put on the clothes not really wanting to leave him so soon. When I walk into the room he is buttoning up white shirt that had to be made specifically for him because it fit every contour of his body like magic and don't get me started on his legs in those black slacks.
"Are you ready bella?", he says as his snaps on an expensive looking watch
I nod at him carefully suddenly filling really shy. "I brought a bag you can put your dress and shoes in. And I have some slides that you can slip on."
I smile at him and walk towards the bed where he has laid the items out. "Thank you", I say as I start to put my things inside.
After checking to make sure I have everything and his grabs his suit jacket and we head out and toward the elevator. Ares takes the bag from me as the elevator doors close and he clicks the G for the garage.
He takes my hand as the doors slide open and he leads toward the rows of good looking cars.
"Does everyone in this building make 6 figures?" I say jokingly as we walk towards the expensive looking Mercedes truck from last night
"Not all but most", Ares says as he walks up and opens the passenger side door for me to hop in
He drops my bag in the backseat and comes around to the front and hops in. We take a couple right turns then we are heading out of down town and towards my loft.
"I had an amazing time", I say staring at our conjoined hands.
We've been sitting in the parking lot outside for about 10 mins just staring at each other. With Ares leaning in often to steal kisses from my lips making my cheeks flush deeply each time. I can't decide who doesn't want to leave the other more, I think its me because I can't bring myself to get out of this car.
"I wish we could have stayed in bed just a little longer." He says with a slight smirk and then leans in to kiss the corner of my mouth gently
"Do you now. . . and what would we have done if we were there just a little longer?", I say coyly
Ares leans over the center console and grips the back of my neck pulling my face in close. "If we would have stayed even 10 minutes longer I may of had to carry you up those steps"
Before I can even form a thought in my head he descends on my lips with a passionate kiss that makes my head spin. And without even noticing Ares unbuckles my seat belt and has me up and into his lap. I adjust quickly so my legs are on either side of him. Thank god he naturally has to have the seat far back or this would be a lot less sexy.
As soon as he sees that I am comfortable he pulls me to his lips again and we begin to kiss fiercely as though we are starving. I move my arms up his chest and around his neck pushing my chest into his trying to feel only him. Ares hands slide down my back and grip my ass tightly and I moan into his mouth. I grind down into him as his pushes himself up to match my motions and I can feel the growing hardness through his pants. I wish that we could stay in this moment forever just simply... taking and giving.
We are startled out of our embrace by my ringtone. "My milk shake brings all the boys to yard—". I pull away and look at his slightly red face as we both try and catch our breath.
"It's Taylor calling", I say out trying to calm my breathing as I reach over to grab my cellphone out of the cup holder
"Yes", I say still breathing in and out quickly
"Just a quick personal request . . . could you please not get pregnant with my niece or nephew in the front seat of a car", Taylor says with a laugh rising in her voice
"I have no clue what your talking about", I say trying to sound nonchalant while I feel Ares kiss up my neck slowly
"Yeah whatever bitch just get in this house so I can hear all the details, tell Ares I said the drug dealer tint on the windows was a nice touch", and with that she hangs up the phone
"I think I'm being summoned", I say leaning in to kiss his lips sweetly
"Ok", he say looking into my eyes intently and then grabbing my face with both hands and pulling me in for one more kiss
He lifts me up and back into my seat with ease and adjusts his pants in the front. I heat up at the fact that it was me that caused the reaction. After fixing himself he gets out of the car and comes around to my side and opens the door. I turn to hop out of the car but he nudges his way in between my legs before I can hop down.
"I may have to go out of town for some business but I will have my phone with me and I will answer whenever you call. I shouldn't be more than a week but I will back to take you out on a proper date." Ares says reaching up and gripping my cheek and rubbing his thumb across it softly
I nod carefully and smile, "Is it too early to tell you I miss you?"
"It's never too early for you yo tell me how you feel", with that he helps me down from the car and grabs my bag of stuff out of the back
He hands me the bag and kisses me one more time. I back and way and walk towards the steps and once I get to the top and look back to see him leaning against the car watching me. I blow a kiss and he touches his hand to his chest.
I turn to the door and before I can even pull the key out of my purse its yanked open and I am pulled inside. I am instantly bombarded by two different sets of rapid questions.
"Did he break your back?"
"Are you going to see him again?"
"Was his dick big or small?.... I think big"
"What took you so long to come inside?"
"Guys! Can you give me a second to breath christ. You guys are way too eager for it to be this time of day", I say with a laugh
I walk toward my room and open the door and drop down on the bed. Hwa Young and Taylor follow suit. " A quick summary of the night if you must know . . . it was one of the best nights of my life and yes to whichever question you decide I am answering"
There is a brief pause and they both break out into excited screams.
"I am so happy for you ginger you", Taylor says with the biggest smile on her face
"You are so lucky that I can't even imagine this happening on your first night out in LA", Hwa Young says with an equally gigantic smile
"I can't believe I am this lucky either. He is going away on business but he said that I can call him whenever because he will have his phone with him at all times", I say with a dreamy edge to my tone
The girls lay down on either side of me and move in close. " I have a good feeling about this year because I met the two of you. Its been a long time sense I found some amazing people to be around", Hwa young says and sighs in contentment
"We are just as glad that we can finally be the three musketeers, thanks for being the Aramis to our Athos and Porthos", Taylor says squeezing Hwa Young's arm tenderly
I lay there cocooned and I honestly could only think of once place that I would rather be in this moment.
I don't think I have ever felt a week go by as slow as this one. Waiting for Ares to get back from business feels like pure torture. Though we have talked for hours every night it still doesn't feel like enough, every-time I hear his voice I just want him to kiss me. I push my laptop to the side and drop back onto my bed, I turn over so my face is deep in the pillow and screech.
I hear my door open and footsteps walk toward the bed. "Ok that's enough ginger you are starting to go stir crazy. The man has been gone for 6 days not a year."
I turn over and see her leaning over me, "He hasn't called or texted all day and its making me antsy and I hate it. I never act like this with guys, I never care this much if a guy doesn't call me."
"That's called attraction sweetie. . . I am glad you are finally experiencing it", she says and then hits my thigh
I sit up and rub my thigh, " Well attraction sucks ass and I don't think I like her any more"
"Well thats too dang bad", she says copying the grandpa from Holes
I laugh and lay back again.
"Why don't I call H and we go do a little shopping, that will take your mind off Ares and by the time we get done he should be done with work and blowing up your phone", she says and picks her phone
"I guess that sounds fun", I say checking my phone again with a slight pout
"Good, you didn't really have a choice but it was good you agreed. Hwa said she's on the way she has been dying to pick up some new stuff", Taylor says and then pulls out the pillow from under my head and wacks me in the face.
"You are so annoying pound cake" I say muffled by the pillow
"Yeah but you love me", she says back as she walks out of the room
I sit up and check my phone once more before getting up to put real clothes on.
Hwa Young and Taylor have been dragging me in and out of every store that we lay eyes on. And not to anyone surprise my arms are filled with bags of stuff I absolutely don't need. Shopping really is the best distraction because I can't help but be pulled in by all the new styles and colors.
"I am so damn hungry I could eat one of you", Hwa Young says as we walk out of another store
"Me too, my stomach is starting to scream at me from neglect", I say looking down
"Ok, let's drop these in the car and find something we can walk to around here", Taylor says heading toward where we parked my car.
We walk to the busy intersection near the parking lot laughing and talking about what we just bought and Taylor demanding we do a model session to show everything off. My back is toward the street and I am talking happily when I see both Hwa and Taylor's face change to shock.
"What are you guys looking at?", I say turning around to catch what has taken their attention
And when my eyes land on the scene my heart drops. I see Ares on the other side of the street arm laced with a beautiful black haired girl who looks about my age. She is smiling up at him as he says something with a smile on his incredibly good looking face. Ares is holding a couple of designer shopping bags in the other hand
"I guess I know now why he couldn't call me all day", and I feel the angry tears welling up in my eyes
The light changes and it give us the opportunity to walk across the street. As I walk towards the couple I can now clearly see just how beautiful the girl is, everything about her seems carefully planned to perfection.
Ares looks up and catches my eyes and almost stops in his tracks. I am sure he can see the look in my eyes and begins remove their linked arms.
I feel stupid standing in the middle of the street with tears in my eyes over a guy who I have only known for a little over a week.
"Let's just keep walking ginger", Taylor says gripping my arm and urging me toward the other side of the street past Ares and the unknown girl
"Bleu", I hear him call
I turn and say clearly forcing my voice to steady looking his dead in the eye, "Let's never see each other again"
I turn quickly and walk the rest of the way across the street. The light changes and I hear cars start honking loudly behind me.
We make our way to the car and I fumble with the keys trying to find the right button as my vision blurs with tear. I feel someone steady my hands and take the key, I look up and Hwa Young gives me sympathetic smile.
"I'll drive", she says and she unlocks the door and we dump our bags inside and get in.
As I soon as I close my door I let the tears go. "This is so dumb I just met this guy I shouldn't be acting like this", I say through the tears
"Its ok to be affected babe ... you really like him. There is no time limit on how long it takes for you to care for someone" , Taylor says looking back at me
Hwa Young pulls out of the parking spot and heads for the exit. And she starts to pull out a figure walks right in front of the vehicle.
"Bleu, just let me talk to you for a second ...I can explain."
"There is nothing to explain get the fuck away from the car or I will run your ass over", Hwa Young says revving the engine
After a beat Ares moves out from in front of the car and Hwa Young continues to pull out.
"This isn't how we are ending bella, I won't let it end this way", he says staring at my tear stained face through the window
Who knew that today would be the beginning and the end.

I am sorry that I was gone long. I messed up my computer and then I had finals it was a crazy couple of weeks but I am hopefully back now! I tried to make this chapter longer to make up for it.
