They flirt with you around camp-
Leopold Strauss flirting? Never! At least that's what he would let you think, since he is known for being rather cold and unemotional. But the truth was that he liked you, a lot. So he would start talking to you but it always seemed to be about business, business that you had nothing to do with so you were more than confused about why he was talking to you about it. Slowly the conversations Would become about anything other than business and you found that you'd rather liked talking to Strauss. Then he would Start complimenting you, he wanted to be the reason that you smile, he wanted to see you smile, and making you laugh was a real achievement to him. Everybody else in camp noticed how different he was acting towards you and would definitely point it out, teasing you both about it.
They get jealous-
Yes, Leopold gets jealous, of course he does why wouldn't other people want you? However, he never acts on his jealousy. If a stranger is flirting with you in the saloon he isn't about to start a scene. He knew that he would lose in any physical confrontation anyway. He also won't say anything to you about it as he fears that it's make him seem childish or too sensitive. But you always notice when something is wrong with him and you notice when he's jealous because he has a small tendency to sulk, so you will wrap your arms around him and kiss cheek and make it very clear to your admirer that you are happily spoken for.
You have an argument-
Leopold is seriously annoying to have an argument with because he has a tendency to use revert to his usual emotionless loanshark persona. Even when you try to talk to him he will ignore you or brush you off, eventually you give up trying to fix things between you and decide to ignore him. After a while of you not bothering him, Strauss realises that he's been being rather than immature and should try to make things right again. So he will come over to you and apologise for being so frustrating, then you finally sit down and talk about the reason that you arguing in the first place. He couldn't ignore you for long before he starts to miss you.
They see you in your underwear-
Leopold stepped into your tent only wanting to ask you a question, but when he saw the sight in front of him he froze. Of course he hadn't meant to walk in on you wearing your underwear. He knew that he let his gaze linger a little longer than he should've so he turned around and stumbled over a polite apology. You were flustered as you covered yourself up, telling him that it was okay. He would just tell you to come and find him when you were decent so that he could ask you the question, before leaving your tent.
Having sex-
Leopold is pretty tame in the bedroom but he wants to please you. He likes to give you sweet, short, slow kisses while you have sex. He isn't very adventurous but he is attentive, your pleasure is actually really important to him (especially if you are significantly younger than him). He is attentive and intimate. He loves when you ride him, he's getting on age wise and he is already a pretty sick man. It's nice to be able to rest his body while getting to be with you.
Aftercare-
Okay so Strauss always acts cold and emotionless but when he is alone with you he is actually pretty soft. He loves to hold you, to stroke your hair, to caress your soft skin, and to give you gentle kisses before you both slowly fall asleep in each other's arms. He likes to have you close to him, especially when you are alone.
Horse Riding-
Leopold doesn't really do horseriding, you aren't even sure if you can even ride a horse but on the rare occasion that you convince him to go out on a horse ride with you, he will sit behind you on your horse with his hands holding on to your waist. You think it's funny but also in endearing when he gets a little nervous and his arms around your waist a little tighter, if you start sharing stories between yourselves he will soon forget he's riding on the back of your horse and will completely relax into the conversation. He actually likes it because he can spend time with you away from the camp.
PDA-
Leopold does not partake in PDA, he has a cold hearted, emotionless loanshark persona to uphold after all. If the camp didn't know any better but might not even know you are together. But that doesn't mean that he doesn't love you and that he isn't proud to be with you, he's actually very proud to be with you he just prefers to show you off more casually by having you by his side more than under his arm. Of course he still sits with you and talks with you as normal, he just won't be very affectionate when the eyes on you both.
The O'Driscolls capture you-
Obviously Strauss' role in the gang was to never get his hands dirty, never went out into gang feuds or anywhere violence might occur. But as soon as he found out that you had been captured by the O'Driscolls he knew that he had to do something, he couldn't just sit around and let it happen to you. He was gonna be part of the people who rescue you, he was going to bring you home. So once everybody had gathered to go and get you he grabbed a handgun and insisted that he was going with them. They would try to stop him and even his own body tried to stop him but he knew they had to be part of this, he had to help you.
Once he got to the O'Driscoll camp and he saw you he headed straight towards you. He untied your bindings and placed a kiss on your forehead. He led you over to the horses and safely he got you back to camp. You have complained and told him that the others would've come and got you and he shouldn't have strained and himself or put himself in danger, but he shook his head and insisted that it was all worth it if it got you back home to him safely. You are important n to him and there was no way that he was letting you go without a fight.
They have a nightmare-
Leopold wasn't going to bother you with something as trivial as a nightmare so he would try not to wake you but if he did and you asked him what was wrong he would've told you the truth. He wouldn't expect your comfort at first as he didn't really need it, it was just a silly nightmare. But after you offered him your comfort he found that he actually quite liked it. He would happily accept your embrace and fall back asleep with his head resting comfortably on your chest.
A child gets attached to them-
When Dutch brought a new child back to camp Leopold didn't think anything of it, he never had anything to do with Jack and he didn't see why this child would be any different. However the child seemed to take a liking to Strauss' quiet behaviour, since the camp could get so loud and it was quite intimidating to a new child it was a nice change of pace. So the child would go and sit with Leopold on the outskirts of the camp, happy to just watch the sky or the water. Strauss figured that he should probably talk or child and that's what he did, it was a well-kept secret that he had a soft spot for children. The child had complained about being bored so when Strauss next went into town, he brought a book back for him. Strauss didn't understand why the child had taken a liking to him but he accepted it, actually he had become rather fond of the child and he was happy to treat them as his own.
They take you on a date-
Strauss hasn't exactly got the best conscience so he didn't exactly feel guilty for telling a few white lies and fiddling the expenses just a little, keeping some money for himself in order to pay for a date that you deserve. He is one of the few men in camp who believes you should put in a little extra effort when taking somebody on a date, call him old fashioned.
They hear you singing-
Strauss never really took part in gang celebrations but he would sometimes observe them, this time he saw you approach Javier while he was playing guitar. This got him a little bit curious and then you started to sing, and it was absolutely beautiful, possibly the most beautiful thing he's heard in a long time. Leopold actually got up from his seat on the outskirts of the camp and sat around the fire, simply to get a better view of your performance. Once you finish singing and had walked over to a quieter part of the camp Leopold would approach you, a little shyly, and tell you that you had a beautiful voice and let it slip that he would like to hear you sing more often.

Strauss really isn't the type of guy to start a fight over the last bottle of beer at the saloon, that would just be childish. But this occasion was different, nothing had been going right and he just needed a drink. You are the exact same way but you've also been having a bad day and you were ready to fight whoever crossed you first. The bartender placed the last bottle down on the bar and told you both to sort it out between yourselves before walking away. You rolled your eyes and reached for the bottle but Leopold grabbed it first, he didn't even plan on saying anything before beginning to stand up. You almost laughed at the absurdity of the situation, but instead you just gently grabbed his wrist ready to claim your beer. That was the moment that you both saw colour for the first time. Leopold turned to you with a surprised expression on his face and you are sure that yours matched his. He awkwardly cleared his throat before sitting back down and sliding the beer over to you as a piece offering.
They save you from somebody trying to rob you-
You were in Valentine and a man approached you, holding you at gunpoint and telling you to hand your money over to him. Of course you refused, but you didn't actually know how you were going to get out of this. That's when a stranger, a member of the Van Der Linde gang, came to your rescue even though you had never met them before.
When Strauss first saw you being harassed by a man in town his first instinct was actually to turn away and pretend that he never saw anything, but his conscience soon kicked in and he realised that he couldn't leave you to be harmed. So we straighten that was jacket and walked over to you. He knew that he couldn't exactly take on this man in any form of physical confrontation but he hoped that he could get you away from him safely. Once he reached you, he placed a hand on your shoulder and looked at the other man. He would ask the man to leave, showing him a glimpse of his gun (that he carries when he leaves camp alone). Eventually the other man would walk away, not interested in causing that must trouble. You thanked Strauss when he released your shoulder and turned to face you. "Not at problem miss, just don't get yourself into anymore trouble. He decided to walk you to your horse before saying his goodbyes to you.
You run away together-
You met Leopold in town one day and at first you thought he was a little strange but you soon started to like him. He was intelligent and interesting, and you both had a great time together. You both knew that your parents would never approve so you would sneak out to visit him and go on little dates, he would always try to treat you with what little he had. You always loved spending time with him. Eventually your parents saw you sneaking out and followed you, you were right they definitely didn't approve. They told you that you had to come home and never see Leopold again but there was no way you could do that. You turned to Leopold, wanting him to say something. "Listen, I have no right to ask you to leave everything behind for me but I love you, I've never felt this way about someone before. We can have a life somewhere but it's your choice" he spoke. You smiled before lacing your fingers through it, of course you chose him. That night you left together to start a life together, leaving your old lives behind.
You are old friends-
You and he had been very close friends since you were teenagers, you had met Strauss not long after he moved to America, but your lives went in different directions. The life of an outlaw took them away from you while you decided to settle down, living by yourself on a decent sized farm. You were happy despite not having had spoken to him for a long time. Even though the thought saddened you, you tried not to think about it. Then there is a knock on your door one random morning, and there he is. Standing in front of your house with the rest of the gang standing somewhat awkwardly on the outskirts of your farm.
You are pregnant and scared about telling him-
You knew that Strauss was getting on in age and that he had a few health problems. Plus you were a part of a gang, you didn't know whether he would want a child. When you told Leopold that you were pregnant, he was surprised but he smiled and pulled you into a loving embrace. He had lost all of his family before but now he had you and you were giving him a chance to be a father, to have a real family again.
You get shot and they take care of your wound-
As soon as you returned to camp, Leopold would have you ushered back to a tent, either yours or his. He would ask you question after question about what happened, you would try to answer them but you were more in need of him to just patch up your wound. He would work carefully and have you patched up 100% before sitting down with you. You would have to reassure him that you were fine a few times but he would still worry about you, he would lace his fingers through yours and afterwards he wouldn't let you out of his sight. He would let you do anything that could strain yourself. He couldn't risk you getting hurt again.
They propose to you-
Leopold would like to keep to keep it quiet and do it somewhere quiet, but he would get you a ring (possibly with fiddled camp funds but we won't talk about that). He would take you out of camp, somewhere that he knows you like, and propose there. He would be a little nervous but he would give a somewhat confident speech before popping the question. You nodded and smiled as you said yes, of course you said yes. Then you would kneel down with him and wrap your arms around his neck, kissing him sweetly as you couldn't stop smiling.
You are sick-
Leopold hadn't looked after somebody who was sick for a long time but he would do his best for you. He thought himself lucky to not have a job that requires him to leave the camp very often, so he was able to stay by your side and be there whenever you needed him. He would actually be a little concerned about getting sick himself but his main priority was still getting you healthy again.
They teach you how to do something-
Strauss taught you how to keep the books in camp, it wasn't anything exciting but it was something that he was good at and it meant spending time together so you were both happy about it. If you aren't the best at handling money or mathematics, he would definitely give you a few lessons in that as well. He just enjoyed the chance to sit somewhere quiet, just outside the camp, while being alone with you. You both would sit, shoulder to shoulder, so that you could both see the books, and that definitely wasn't excuse to sit closer to you.
They save a lost child-
Strauss furrowed his brow when he saw a child sneaking around, trying to steal some bread. He managed to pull them away before they got caught. He asked them what they were doing only for them to explain that there parents had been killed and they had no where to go. Leopold knew what it was like to have your family die or leave, so be left alone and afraid. He couldn't help himself from telling them about the camp and telling them that it would be a safe place to stay. They accepted and he was glad that they did, that he found them before somebody worse did. So he took them back to the camp and felt like he was responsible for them.
They react to you wearing lingerie-
Leopold would be pleasantly surprised and honestly a little bit honoured. He had never experienced a woman wearing lingerie, at least especially for him anyway. He would absolutely adore it, running his hands over the lace and telling you how beautiful you look. He would definitely encourage you to wear it again and would even go shopping with you to get you some more options and styles to wear.
You walk in on them changing-
You carried the basket of clean clothes into Strauss tent, but nearly dropped it when you saw him. Your eyes went wide and you instantly started to apologise over and over again. You placed the basket down as carefully as you could before turning around, still apologising for walking in on him as he was changing. He cleared his throat before telling you that everything was fine and that you had nothing to apologise for, of course he was a little bit embarrassed but figured that is nothing to dwell on. You apologised again before leaving his tent, and whenever you saw each other around camp you would blush and his ears would turning a light shade of red.
