A Wedding in Gotham, how cool. I wonder if it is Barbara and Jim again. Went down so well last time. No definitely not Jim and Barbara. Pretty wedding though. Jade and Selina enjoyed it. They are throwing rice as they get into the car. Oh shit watch out, Jervis Tetch is back. "Hey aint that The Tetch man?" Jade asked. Selina shrugged. "I guess." She said. "What is he doing driving the wedding car?" Jade asked. Selina shrugged again. "Come on you. It's time to go." Tony said pulling Jade away form the wedding party. "So are ya going to shout me a drink at the dinner?" Jade asked. "You better believe it Mara." Tony said kissing her. Selina laughed as they left for the dinner and hot chocolates.
Penguin is awake. He is in love! I knew he was in love with Ed. He is talking to Olga about Ed. She calls him a buffoon. "I don't know what that means Olga. But today I do not care. I am in love and I want to shout it to the world!" Penguin said with a huge smile. "You know I am going to confess to Ed today." Penguin said. "Confess what?" Samantha asked as she sat at the dining room table. "Nothing you need to know." Penguin said with a smile. "It must be good, you are glowing." Samantha said. "Oh it is." Penguin said. "Why are you here again?" Penguin asked. "To help you at the school today. You know read to the kids etc." Samantha said. "Oh yes, well I must dress. I will see you and Ed soon." Penguin said going off to do just that. Samantha laughed at him as he left.
Jim is having breakfast at the dinner with Valarie. They are talking about an interview with Lee. Jim said she will not do it. But Valarie is still going to try. "I like this." Valarie said to him with a smile before leaving him.
She passed Jade and Selina on the way in with Tony. "Hello Mr Jim how are ya?" Jade asked giggling. "Good thanks, Jade. Selina, Tony." Jim replied. They sat in the booth with him. He got up to leave. As he left the dinner, he passed two girls. Well women, they were now in their twenties. Selina went still. She watched the girls sit and make an order. They were well dressed, and looked happy. Selina's blood went cold. It was as if she had seen a ghost from her past. In a way she had. They were older, but still the same as her five year old brain remembered them. Jade was busy with Tony laughing and looking into his eyes. All she had to do was keep her amused. Quite but amused. They might not see them, they after all were ten years older too. The two girls Selina was seeing were none other than Maggie Kyle, and Delia Quinzell. Selina and Jade's big sisters. Why were they here Selina thought? What did they want? Did they want to see the girls? Did they even think they were in town? "So what ya having Sena?" Jade said at the top of her lungs. Maggie and Delia turned and looked Selina in the eye. Oh Shit!
Jim is now outside. A very pale white young boy comes to talk to him. "Jim Gordon I have a message for you. From Jervis Tetch." He said. "What is this a joke?" Jim asked. "Jim Gordon I have a message for you from Jervis Tetch." He repeated. Jim finally got the idea of the game. He asked what the message was. Clever Jim. He follows the boy. Get to a pay phone. Tetch on the other end. "Jim Gordon. You have a decision to make." Jervis said. He then tells Jim about the two who just got married, and the small boy down the street. "One of them is going to die Jim. You have to choose." Tetch said. So Jim what are ya going to do? He saves the boy. I guess he wants kids. What do you think?
Phone rings again. "You son of a bitch!" Jim yells at Jervis. "It was your choice Jim." Jervis said. He then gives him an address. You have five minutes Jim." Jervis said. Jim runs.
Lee is talking to Mario. "I'm sorry my Dad wants an engagement party." Mario said. I bet he does Lee. I also bet you are happy about that aint ya. You are now in the big league Lee. Just like you always wanted, You social climber you. Of course she said yes with a huge smile. See told ya!
Ed at his desk. He is giving his secretary orders. "Then take this to Nicky Nails Place. Knock twice then light the wick." Ed said to her. She smiled gingerly at him. "You are so mean." Samantha said to him. "No I am not." Ed said with a smile. "Good morning Edward. How are you this fine and wonderful day?" Penguin asked. "I am fine thank you. I can see you are fine too." Ed said smiling at him. Samantha looked from Penguin to Ed. She smiled. Now she knew what the big secret was. Penguin was in love with Ed. "I would, a like,.... ah to,..... A ..." Penguin stopped. "Ahem." Samantha said. "Ah yes, well Ed would you like to have dinner with me tonight?" Penguin asked. "Yes I will bring the wine." Ed said. "Thanks but I am busy." Samantha said giggling. "Well then just the two of us Oswald." Ed said smiling.
Barnes and Harvey are at the scene with the wedding couple. Harvey has been talking to the boy. "He said that Jim Gordon saved him." Harvey said. "That sound strange to you. Jim saving the boy, calling it in. But not staying?" Barnes asked. "Not as strange as him." Harvey said pointing to the boy painted in white. And we all know what he is rabbiting on about.
Jim is at the address Tetch gave him. A board display with his capture of Alice, and her death. There is a phone. It rings again, Guess who? Ha ha ha. Tells Jim to look through the telescope. He sees Tetch. Not bad looking I must say. Jim hangs up a couple of times. Then Tetch brings out the big one. He has kidnapped Valarie Vale! Now you have done it Jim!
Selina goes pale. "Selina?" Maggie said smiling at her. Selina pulls back, Jade turns to see who is talking. Tony recognizes them straight away. "Jade, is that you?" Delia asked. "Who are you?" Jade asked. The girls got a little excited. "Jade, It's me. Mummy D. You used to call me." She said excitement in her voice. Jade felt the cold shiver that Selina had felt earlier. She felt Tony's hand the heat burning through to her. His grip tightened. Jade turned to Selina in shock. Selina nodded. Jade knew it was the truth, she had the pictures. But never did she ever in her wild's dreams did she think that she would see her again! "Jade, Selina. It is so good to see both of you. We lost track of you when Barry left. How have you been?" Delia asked. Just like they had known each other all their lives. Delia had to speak, Maggie could see the look on Selina's face. She wanted answers. Answers Maggie was not yet ready to answer. "I'm sorry, but I don't know you people." Jade said. "But Jade I am your sister." Delia said to her. "No, Selina, Harleen, and Ivy are my sisters." Jade replied. She turned her back on the women. "No way you little brat. You don't get away with it that easily. I well grandma tried to find you for years." Delia said. "Yeah I'm sure you looked real hard too." Selina said. "We did Selina." Maggie said. "Well ya found us now. We are safe happy and not hungry anymore." Jade said getting up to go. Selina and Tony did the same. The girls walked right past them and out onto the street. Jade finally let out her breath. The breath she didn't know she was even holding in. "Come on, I will take you to the club. I am sure you want to talk to Samantha about this." Tony said. Jade nodded, she took Selina's hand.
"So how is dear old Butch?" Barbara asked. "He is fine. Boy he can eat a lot." Tabatha said. "Poor old Butch." Rachel said giggling. "Daddy!" Rachel said running to him. "Really Jim you should ring first." Barbara said. "Where's Tetch?" Jim asked. "What no hello even for Rachel?" Barbara asked. "Hello Rachel." Jim said hugging her. He glared at Barbara over her head. "Shouldn't you be at school?" Jim asked. "No I am home schooled now. Since you and Mummy broke up and you put her in Arkum. The kids don't like me now." Rachel said. "She happy." Barbara said. Rachel smiled before going back to her books. "Do you know where Tetch is?" Jim asked. "Why no, probably at some crazy tea party." Barbara said laughing. Jim grabbed Barbara. "Did he come here and ask you about me?" Jim asked. "He might have." Barbara said. "Did you tell him about Vale?" Jim asked. "I could have." Barbara replied. "Lee?" Jim asked. "Could have." Barbara said. Jim is now pissed. He lets Barbara go, and on the way out calls Lee. "Hello Mr Gordon." Tetch said. With a laugh. Must say he has an eye for the dramatic.
Jade and Selina rush into the club. "Where's Samantha Aunty Barbara?" Jade said. "Out with The Penguin." Barbara said. "Oh shit." Jade said sitting at the bar. "You do know we open soon don't you?" Barbara said. "I know. I just need to talk to someone." Jade said. Selina sat staring at the bottles of booze. "Well whatever is wrong, you are far too young for that." Tabatha said to her. "Jade, I'm going back to the hideout." Selina said leaving. "Must be bad." Barbara said. As this happened. Delia and Maggie entered the club. "They aint open yet." Selina said as she runs into them. "We know we have business with Miss Kean." Maggie said. "Finally didn't think you wanted the gig." Barbara said. "Time to go and play Kitty Cats." Barbara said to them as Maggie sat at the bar with Barbara. "See you around Aunty Barbara." Jade said leaving. "Aunty Barbara?" Maggie asked. "A long boring story." Barbara said. "I would love to hear it if you have the time?" Delia asked. "Well if you really want. But first, who are you?" Barbara asked, as she eyed the woman up. "So sorry. Delia Quinzell. Lawyer to the band, and sister to that rat bag that was just here." Delia said. Barbara smiled. "Interesting." She said.
Tetch is talking to Lee and Valarie. While he is on the phone to Jim. He has them in the back of the van. What are you up to Jervis. I must say that suit is something. A yellow and blue check. I do like it.
Barnes is at the GCPD. He is talking to the white rabbit. The boy who is painted white. Ha ha ha. He gets nothing out of him. Don't know why he would even try. Even a blind man could see he is hypnotized. But it makes our Barnes rather angry. So angry in fact he leaves dents in the metal chair from his hands. Wow Alice's blood is working overtime now.
Jim is with two men. One a Doctor, one an Editor. Tetch calls him again. "You have a choice Jim. The Doctor, or the Editor. You have to shoot one. Or they both die." Tetch said. By now Harvey has found him. Sorry guess I missed something. Jim talked to Harvey about it earlier. Anyway Jim will not shoot them. So Jervis shocks them both. "NO!" Jim yells. Poor Jim so many dead because of your love life. Only in Gotham Baby!
Penguin and Ed are at the school touring. Penguin is board, he wants to go home. But Ed smiles and tells him to get on with it. "Don't complain, I am the one reading to each class." Samantha said. "And a wonderful job you are doing too." Penguin said. Samantha sat down with the younger kids. "Let me read you this story with a few different characters. Shall I?" Samantha said with a smile. All the children sat waiting as did Penguin and Ed. "This is a story about a girl called Barbara and the Three Penguins." Samantha said. Ed held Penguin back. She smiled at them. Now she is funny! "Now you see there is this girl called Barbara with long golden hair. She is in the woods wandering. She has been told to stay away from the Penguin's House. But she being a curious girl went into the cold to find them. She found their igloo. Inside sat the King Penguin, with his Friend. The King Penguin wanted to tell the other Penguin he loved him ." Samantha said. Penguin went pale. "So you know what Barbara did for them?" Samantha asked the children. They all said no! Eyes wide with wonder. "She cooked a wonderful dinner for them of grilled fish. They fell in love more and adopted two little Penguins. Then they all lived happily ever after." Samantha said with a smile at Penguin and Ed. "A little strange, but the children seemed to like it." Ed said. "Yes, yes they did didn't they." Penguin said glaring at Samantha. Nice one Samantha.
Meanwhile, Lee and Valerie are handcuffed to the bath at Lee's house. They bond over breaking out. Well not really, Valarie wants an interview. Lee is not happy about it. But they talk as they try and break out of the leg cuffs.
Jim and Harvey are back at the GCPD. The White Rabbit is in the holding cells. Jim asked him how to solve the puzzle. He writes it down for Jim. On his way out he runs into Mario. He is not impressed that Lee is involved. Blames Jim. Join the que Mario. But they find a way to work together.
Lee has broken out of her leg cuffs. Now it is Valarie's turn. But alas in true Gotham style. Tetch springs them. Tells them they have Jim to blame. He killed his sister Alice.
Jade got up off the lounge with a sigh. She went to open the door. Who was it she thought? Not even Tony knocked. "What do you want?" Jade said walking back and flopping on the lounge. "We talked with Barbara." Delia said. "We are so sorry Jade." Maggie said. "Ya know Sorry didn't cut it back then. So it aint going to cut it now." Selina said coming out of the bedroom. "Selina we didn't know mum would dump you at the orphanage." Maggie said. "Did ya think about the baby Mum had?" Jade asked. "I am guessing it was Harleen, and Ivy you mentioned earlier." Delia said. "It's Harleen. She has an adopted sister Ivy. She has never known anyone else as her family. But now she has me, and Sena." Jade said. "Jade again we are sorry." Delia said. "Sorry don't cut it. Sorry don't take away the sleepless night crying yourself to sleep. Watching every person on the street to see if it was Mother. Sorry don't cut the beatings we got form the Pike family." Selina said. "You lived with Taylor and Joe?" Delia asked a smile on her face. "We existed with them." Jade said. "Why are you in town? What is it you two do anyway?" Selina asked. "I manage Barry's band. Delia is their lawyer." Maggie said. "Nice to see you two done well for yourselves. We didn't get to go to school much." Selina said. "Sorry." Maggie said. "Oh don't be sorry we learned other skills. Like how to steal to survive. How to pick a pocket so you didn't go hungry. How to run like hell when the Perv is chasing you." Selina said. Both the women's eyes misted over. "Are Taylor and Joe at the same address? I need to go speak with them." Delia said. "Oh no. Joe lives in Hell now with Lucifer. Taylor well I think she and Bridget would call their life Hell now." Selina said. "Joe's dead?" Delia asked going pale. "Get out, Get out!" Jade yelled at them. "Come on Jade, I have a date with Bruce. You come too. Alfred always makes too much food." Selina said talking a shaking Jade from the room.
Tetch has set up a table for tea. Jim finds them at the Table. Jervis pours the tea. "I do apologize for the hideous china. You would have thought that as she was a Doctor she would have more taste." Jervis said as he poured the tea. "None for me." Lee said like she was talking to Lucifer himself. Jervis still placed the cup in front of her. Like she could, she was tied to the chair. "None for me." Valarie said. Same, tied to the chair. "I'll have some." Jim said. Jervis babbles on about how Jim stole Alice from him and then killed her. Jim retaliates tells him she hated him. That she would rather be dead than with him. Not the best move Jim. Ah but we see Mario go into the basement to get a gun. He appears out of nowhere. "You do know that, that one has blanks don't you. I changed it earlier today." Jervis said with a smile. Oh he is a sexy boy aint he? "I'm going to give you a choice, Jim. Which one do you love. So I can kill her." Jervis said. Jim hesitates, his eyes flew straight to you guessed it. Lee. You can see she still loves him, and he her. As tensions begin to boil over. "Choose Jim!" Jervis said getting angry now. Jim still hesitates. "OK then on the count of 3. 1.... 2 ...." Jervis said. "Lee, Kill Lee!" Jim shouts at him. "Ah you have fallen for the reporter." Jervis said. He shoots Valarie! No! NO shock No! Is Jim never to have happiness. Jim rushes to her, as does Lee. Mario calls the ambulance. "You are going to be fine." Jim said to Valarie as he stands by her. Awe Jim ya do love her too.
Now they are at the hospital with Mario. He is off into theater with her. Because ya know there are no other doctors in Gotham. "Relax Jim she is in good hands with Mario." Lee said. "Lee about....." Jim was about to say. "Not now Jim." Lee said.
Penguin is now at his table laden with food for his Ed. He is even practicing his speech to tell Ed he loves him. Awe Penguins in love. Aint life grand???
Ed is at the grog shop. He is choosing his wine for his dinner with Penguin. He meets a girl. She looks like Kristen! She even likes riddles! Double whammy Ed! "Isabella." She said. "Ed" said. Awe I think Ed is in love with again! Poor Pengie, left at the altar again!
"Well Master Bruce. I didn't realize there would be two for dinner." Alfred said. "Yes sorry about that Alfred. We had an emergency at home." Selina said. "An emergency?" Alfred asked as he raised his eyebrows. "Yeah our sisters came calling." Selina said. "Oh." Alfred said. "Oh Selina now you can reunite with them." Bruce said with all the innocence of a sheltered life. "I ain't going to do that." Jade said. "Come here." Tony said giving her a hug. The room fell silent. Each lost in his or her own thoughts. Jade with tears rolling down her face. Poor Jade and Selina, what are they going to do now????????????????????????????
