"Today I will be choosing your partners for this assignment." My teacher says while handing out papers to the class.
"Fuck that shit." I say under my breath, and the teacher turns to me.
"Language Gunderson." I roll my eyes, and look down at the paper he gave me.
The teacher moves to the front of the room, and shushes the class.
"For this assignment your partners will be on the board. The directions for this assignment are on the paper I handed out. Now find your partners, and get to work. You have 30 minutes of work time."
Everyone in the room walks to the board to look for their partners. I hear most people in the crowd saying "no!" Or "shit!"
I push through the students, and and look for my name. I scan the board, and when I see my name I groan at who's name was next to mine.
Sam golbach.
I walk over to his desk, and sit at the one next to his.
"I guess we are partners." I say, and he rolls his eyes.
"Keep rolling your eyes and they will get stuck like that." I mimick what he said to me days ago, and he shakes his head, and tries to hold in his smile.
"Is the rumor about you and Colby true cuz if it i-"
"Of course it's not true Sam! I can do better." He lets out a sigh of relief, and I don't make eye contact with him.
"I mean I don't know about better but.." I punch him in the arm after he said that, and he winces.
"Damn Kaylee chill! I don't want my arm broken like Nick's nose." I glare at him, and he laughs.
"You sound like fuckin Colby." I cross my arms, and he turns his desk towards me more.
"Why would I sound like colby? Since when do you talk to him?"
"I don't. It just sound like something a dick would say." I'm quick to say this, and Sam nods.
"If your fuckin my best friend I will never go near him again. Not after you were touching all over him." My jaw drops when he says that, and some people in the class turn toward us.
"Shut the fuck up Sam!" I punch him again, and he grabs his shoulder.
"Wait. The rumors true?" This kid at the front of the room says. I turn to him, and he's looking straight at me.
"No. It's not. Now shut the fuck up." I turn back to Sam, and he's laughing.
"What are you laughing at?" I furrow my eyebrows.
"It's funny when you get mad." I glare at him, and he trys to hide his smile.
"Mr.laumen!" I raise my hand, and he looks up at me. "Can I switch partners?" Be shakes his head, and I groan.
"Whyyy." I hold the y, and lean back in my chair.
"Work on it at my house tonight?" He asks. I look up at him, and think about it for a second.
Do I really wanna go to his house? No.
"It's either my house or yours. Your pick." He puts in bag over his shoulder, and I sigh.
"I guess I'll go to your house." I say, putting my binder in my back pack.
"See you after school then. Just follow me home." The bell rings, and he walks out of the class room.

"Sorry Elle, your walking home today." I close my locker, and she stands there, glaring at me.
"Why? I'm not walking home." She crosses her arms, and I sigh.
"Unless you wanna go to Sam's house."
"Why are you going to Sam's house?" She raises an eyebrow at me, and I shake my head.
"No ew, it's for a project." I start to walk out the door, and she follows me.
"Well wish me luck, cuz I'm not going to sams house." She says, trying to keep up with me.
"Wish me luck, I'm the one going to Sam's house." I grab my keys, and unlock the car.
"Well good luck." She starts walking the opposite way, and I pull out of my parking spot.

"Come in." Sam opens the door for me, and I walk in.
"Damn, your rich too." I say, looking around his huge house.
"No, not reall-"
"Don't even, you know your rich." I say setting my bag on the counter.
"Brennen no!" I hear Colby yell, and I groan.
Fuck
Colby, and Brennen come running down the stairs, and when colby sees me he stops.
"Oh hey k-" he's cut off by brennen tackling him to the floor. I step back, and Sam shakes his head.
"Y'all do too much." Sam laughs, and I turn to him.
"Is this normal?"
"Yup." He pops the p. I nod.
Brennen was now on the floor, and colby has gotten on top of him. Colby grabs brennens phone, and runs out the back door to the pool.
"Try and take your phone back, and it's going in the pool." Colby says, looking through brennens phone. Colby starts laughing, and now I wanna know what's going on.
"Colby fucking Brock! Give me my phone!" Brennen yells but doesn't move, because he doesn't want his phone to be in the pool.
"Sam, do you know what's going on?" I turn back towards him, and he sits at the chair next to the island.
"I never do." He pulls out the assignment from his backpack, and a pencil.
"Let's get to work then."
"Colby! You don't need to read my messages with her!" He yells.
I laugh. Now I think I know what's going on.
"Colby! Brennen! Shut the fuck up!" Sam yells, and I laugh even more.
"Sam!" Colby yells. Sam give him an annoyed look, and Colby smiles.
"What Colby?"
"Shut the fuck up." Colby throws brennens phone to him, and Brennen catches it. His jaw drops, and he gives his phone to me.
"Don't let Colby get it." Brennen runs after Colby yelling, and me and Sam laugh even more.
"You could have broken my phone dumbass! What if I didn't catch it?!"
"Then you would have to buy a new phone." Colby yells back, and runs in the house. He locks the door, and Brennen runs up to it. He starts banging on the door, and Colby walks up to me.
"Phone." He holds his hand out, and I shake my head.
"Yes Kaylee." He shakes his hand for me to give him the phone but I just shake my head again.
"You don't get it." I stick my tongue out at him, and be furrows his eyebrows. Be starts to tickle me, and I scream, and kick him. I jump out of the chair, and unlock the door for Brennen.
"Take your fuckin phone back!" I give it to him, and he grabs it and runs.
"Eh, I already read the messages, and I sent the screenshots to my phone so." I burst out laughing and I turn to him.
"Your sending those to me!" He just laughs.
"Fine, now get to work, mosquito nips over here is getting mad." I see Sams face get red, and can't help but laugh.
"Shut up before kick you out of my house." Sam threatens, and colby thows his hands up.
"Fine, I'll stop."
I haven't laugh this much in a long time. It felt good, and please tell me why I'm hanging out with these boys.
I never thought that would happen.
