You and Shawn had been married for three years and have started a little family. You conceived your son, Gage, early in the first months of your marriage. Now after two years, you are finally pregnant again, more specifically 6 months pregnant. Shawn, however, is currently trying to finish his international tour and get home to you.
You were trying to fall asleep one night and couldn't. You decided to stalk Instagram and look at pictures of your hubby. You found one that you just couldn't get enough of, so you decided to text him.
You: "Baby? I found something I like."
Shawn: "?"
You send an attachment of the picture.
You: "Can we have another baby?🤤😍"
Shawn: "😂😍 Honey, I think you may be forgetting you're already pregnant."
You: "I am after that picture. 😉"
Shawn: "You're too much. 😂"
You: "Don't laugh at a pregnant woman, it's not very nice."
Shawn: "I'm sorry. How can I make it up to you?"
You think for a minute.
You: "Got anymore pictures?"
Shawn sends you a few.
You start to cry.
You: "I think I made a mistake."
Shawn: "Why Babe?"
You: "Now I'm crying."
Shawn: "Don't cry, Honey."
You: "Telling a pregnant woman not to cry is like telling her rockstar husband to quit playing music. 😭"
Shawn: "How can I help you? I mean it won't be long until I'm home."
You: "One minute without you right now feels like an eternity.😢"
Shawn: "You're killing me Honey. I want you in my arms right now."
You: "That makes two of us."
Shawn: "I could fly you out to see me?"
You: "What about Gage? I don't think I could make the trip being pregnant and lugging a two-year-old around an airport."
Shawn: "You're right. I could ask my mom to keep him?"
You pause and think.
You: "Are you being serious?"
Shawn: "I'm looking at flights right now."
You smile.
You: "Then let's do this. I miss you so bad I feel like I've not smiled in weeks, but wouldn't I be a distraction or in the way?"
Shawn: "You'd definitely be a distraction 😍 😉"
You giggle.
You: "You're too much."
Shawn: "But you love me."
You: "You're right I do. I'm getting tired Honey. I probably ought to go to bed."
Shawn: "I'll call Mom tomorrow. Goodnight Darling."
Shawn: "Dream of me?"
You: "Always."
